Graham! LOVE THE BUILD!!!! I am gonna borrow your idea for a bookshelf/display shelf idea. I have some minor tweaks to do but I love the battery operated lights and how you incorporated them. Thank you so much for sharing! I will probably put it on Instructables when I am done. ABSOLUTELY CREDIT YOU FOR THE IDEA!
Ah, Graham!! Have you been spying on me? It seems highly coincidental that we both enjoy similar tastes in great whiskey's!! ....... Just kidding..... we do like the same whiskey's but great build and another great video. Keep them coming!! (Ontario, Canada !!!)
@@WoodnessGoodness yeah I am suprised it hasn't made the top ten to drink for this year...but some of my go too bourbons did make the cut. Knob Creek, Elijah Craig, Four Roses (one of my favorites), and Woodford Reserve. All great bourbons. The cabin is looking great and it will make for a great whiskey shack...😜👍
Cool build! A small piece of constructive criticism -- you might want to invest in a shotgun mic from your camera to improve the voice recording at the beginning. I learned the hard way (through my least successful build video) that if you do a voiceover at the beginning, lower quality voice recording can lose some viewers. Overall well done though - I subscribed.
I would rather hear a voiceover throughout versus that music. Give tips and what you might've done differently if you had to do it again. Voiceovers are more engaging.
Unfortunately at the age to drink whiskey?? My man, you are very fortunate to be at the age to legally enjoy one of the finest adult beverage that people have enjoyed for decades. I have been enjoying bourbon for more than 30 years. My advice to you and any other young adult (of legal drinking age) that wants to explore the wonders of whiskey is don't ever drink for no other reason but to get wasted. While drinking whiskey almost every day i have not been drunk on it for years. Enjoy mate!
Nice project, one thing I personally would have done differently is how the powerpack is attached. perhaps it's just not clear on the video, but it looks like it would be a bit fiddly to change the batteries. If you used magnets rather than glue, it would give more manuvability as it wouldn't be locked in place.
Mexie Mex great idea! I wonder if magnets would affect the batteries. Changing the batteries isn't that bad since it's off the wall. But I do agree it's tight.
+Woodness Goodness, I've used magnets to hold battery packs in place for a few projects, I've never noticed any issues, I'm not saying I guantee they have no effect on the batteries, but if they do it's minimal ;^>
Another idea (and what I ended up doing) is using velcro. If you get the good quality kind it doesn't stick out further and it worked really well for me.
Great build! Love the light integration into shelf...
Really nice. Simple but very smart results

Looks great except when it’s time to change the batteries it will be a pain in the ass. I’m sure I’ll figure out a fix
Does anyone have a link to the lights? I can't find them anywhere
Is all the piping 3/4" or 1" ? Thank you - great job. Im building one for my son who is into whiskey !
3/4” I think! It’s all the same.
Dope.
Скажите, что за музыка играет в этом ролике?????

where did you get the pipping. Is it special ordered or just from Home Depot?
Just Home Depot or Lowes. It's steel plumbing pipe. It's like Lego you can do a tonne of cool shapes etc with it!
@@WoodnessGoodness ty for getting back to me
