As a home brewing, woodworking whisky drinker I think you’ve given me a great idea for what I have left of my ever decreasing malts so I can top up when a close to empty appears😀🍻
I make various designs. And recently I started adding the backing strips with hammer and nails vs nail gun.......for therapy purposes. So I get the hammer and nails being favorable
Rag n Bone Brown is one of my favorite woodworkers, so I had to check you out. You're going to give him some competition now! I've just finished watching half a dozen of your videos and I'm hooked. I love upcycling and you guys are so creative!
Slowly I'm catching up on your video's, very soothing this one. To sit down and have a glass of whisky on the occasional evening is a real treat. Crikey you've got a few bottles there - well done Matt, I know who I'm visiting if I'm ever in your part of the world ;)
Great video!! I really need to make one of these for my bourbon collection, too. And glad to see you drinking Maker's Mark, my personal favorite, and the distillery is just an hour down the road from me.
I think that’s my favourite build of yours so far. To think, all those drunken bums sat on that wood and now a drunken bum is storing his whiskey with it! 😂 beautiful and the copper pipe work tab was inspired. Great video and great build Matt. 🌲🦊🌲👍😘
I have been looking forever for something to build for my liquor, mostly whiskey as well, and I think I have found it. I think im going to go with black or galvanized pipe instead of copper though.
Very nice! Been involved in the reclaimed wood industry for over twenty years now. It's always satisfying to unlock the beauty below the surface of the wood. Great work my friend. Favorite Whiskey?
I just found your channel via Rag n Bone Brown's video. what a find, I love your videos. the commentary, the way it's filmed and the projects. what a great looking workshop you have too. can I ask why did you choose that bananas and how it's performing? I ask because I'm looking at getting one and finding it difficult to choose. Well done anyway, a great channel, you have earned a subscriber.
Thank you for your kind words. I knew nothing about bandsaws so went with a trusted name. It was the smallest and cheapest one they did at the time. Its a great little saw but the more i get into woodwork the more i want a bigger one. W M Walker just did a review of a little saw.
thanks for sharing Matt this is the first time I've visited your channel hope you don't mind if i borrow this design for our community workshop cheers Eddy
That whiskey shelf is simple but really nice. Good job. I am a Crown Royal Man. Thank you for giving me a Great Idea.

Mine seen to get empty too quickly.
Hello, from Elgin in Scotland. Nice to see the Glen Moray, live right next to the distillery
Hello. A nice place to live
upcycle is awesome it keeps the cost of projects to a bare minimum and plus I think it gives a since of pride when you tell the story....cheers
I think you are right. I really like to use recycled materials
wow keeping it simple and recycling materials, hat off to you lad
I make various designs. And recently I started adding the backing strips with hammer and nails vs nail gun.......for therapy purposes. So I get the hammer and nails being favorable
You’re giving me so many ideas! Love this. The wife was only talking about her ever-expanding gin collection the other day. The music is great too.
Gin’s do have some nice looking bottles. They would look great on display.
Awesome ! Love the copper pipe touch 👏👍
Love it! Reclaimed everything, find the copper piping a nice touch. Awesome thank you!
Thank you
Oak stain and brown wax, ... did this reclaimed wood a fair bit of justice, beautiful
Thank you very much. I was quite pleased how this one turned out

I think the collection might have increased since I filmed that. You can sample some if you come to the UK.
You can count on it, cheers!
The copper's a nice touch, reminds me of the big tanks you seen in distilleries. Not sure is that's a whiskey distillery, but close enough
Thanks Robin. They do make whiskey in copper stills i had not thought of that but your right.
Great video!! I really need to make one of these for my bourbon collection, too. And glad to see you drinking Maker's Mark, my personal favorite, and the distillery is just an hour down the road from me.
Thanks Chad. I hope you have been able to visit the distillery.
Badger Workshop Not yet :( hoping to later this year, it's been on our list of things to so for a while lol
Great work, I too prefer to use reclaimed wood, can't remember the last time I brought new timber 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Pate. I love the look and cost of reclaimed wood.
The copper pipe rails are a brilliant simple idea
Really Enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing Matt.
Thank you Rob

I want to say thank you but I think you just called me a bum.
Great build
Cheers

Awesome skill and dedication. I have liked and subscribed.
Thank you very much
Aberlour 12 and Laphroaig. Good Choice. I like the Aberlour 16 sice i tasted it in the Aberlour Distillery. Great Work, subbed.
I have not tried the 16. That must have been a great trip to the distillery.
Yes, it was. The Speyside is very recommended also.
Really nice mate, Love the copper detail.
Thank you. I do like copper and wood together.

It will look great with steel pipe.
great work. if you ever get to NYC check out The Flatiron Room. Mecca of whisk(e)y.
I looked it up and it looks great.
good and strong project 👍
Thanks. I was pleased with this one

Sounds a very interesting job Tim. So never have a problem finding materials then.
My favourite is Aberlour 10 year old. Do you have a favourite ?
I like the Jameson line of products. I'm really more of a rum guy. It is a very interesting job. I'm always dragging a bit of timber home. Take Care.

Thank a lot Joe
Amazing
Hey Matt when you gonna get some more videos on alcohol products
Great piece love the copper accents. FYI you have the word "win" in your video's title I'm guessing that should read "wine".
Well spotted Dan. I have sorted that out. Thank you
thanks for sharing Matt this is the first time I've visited your channel hope you don't mind if i borrow this design for our community workshop cheers Eddy
Please use the design Eddy but you have to get your own booze.
I'm sure our members will have no problem filling it
Nice work, and get some Glencairn glasses!
I want to try and make one similar to yours. What diameter was the copper pipe?
Its 22mm
Hello Mr. Hugh Jackman doppelganger
I have the same problem with my whiskey, just keeps "evaporating".
Its a real problem. I keep having to buy more
did he say 'make a wack for it'?
2:26 - that's what she said!
Yes she did
