Each plank weights about 3 kilos each so id be able to carry max like 100 planks with the truck. Its much more simple to just chop down trees near the easier instead of going on a roadtrip for each load

I like turning off zombies being able to destroy my structures. I know it's not everyone's favorite thing, but I like having my own island of safety in the insanity of the zombie apocalypse. My favorite place is this park with a wrought iron fence surrounding it (I think it's in Louisville but Idr exactly where). It's in a wealthy neighborhood, and there's only like 2 entrances, so if you build a couple log walls to block each entrance, you won't have to worry about zombie spawns and you can concentrate on building your house. Then you can hop the fences to raid the homes in the area.
Bad idea BaoHadir. You should just set zombie respawns off. After that zombies would come as waves. A calm before storm is better than just calm and then storm

I'm not running 10 years later and I have power and water for up to a month, but that's only because my first run had me dead in short order. I found a working car immediately and cranked the heat. My current project is trying to make my own mansion next to the 3 mansions at West point that will able to survive a horde wave of sprinters. Unfortunately my place is more of a mansion filled with floors of traps minus the top floor being my personal space.
I honestly want to see another builder Bob series where you rebuild a small town and fence it off with an indestructible fence and extended the fence as you rebuild the town

Big open kitchen with a walk-in fridge, dining area, living room area with a fireplace, bar and library, dedicated armory, workshop with a huge storage room, laundry room, med bay, radio room, several bedrooms and bathrooms, all fully decorated with paintings, plants and curtains. Separate garage, four watchtowers, farm and a greenhouse. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of myself for that one. I was hoping I'd be able to recruit some suberb survivors to share it with it, but the mod doesn't work for me, so it's just for my lonesome for now :(

I know Zomboid has multiple carpentry items that have way too high of a level requirement (looking at you, rain collector), but only being able to turn level 3 walls into plastered walls is ridiculous. I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for 2 years, and framing walls/mounting plywood is something we have first timers help with. If anything, the plastering (I’m guessing that’s what I would call “mudding”) is the part they left to professionals.
