Fun fact. Enris army is the third strongest army in the show. So she can body the kingdom and the empire with her forces
I love that a Redcap is actually slightly more powerful than a death knight - and she has 13 of them.
I think would be 4rth, behind ainz, elfs and theocracy (prob behind the council too, but we haven't see them yet)
Don’t mess with Enri wtf😭
The raising my voice behind Enri thing was her surprise. Lupusregina specializes in invisibility and she was guarding Enri and Nfirea by standing right next to them invisible as they were running away. When Enri blew the horn and the goblins appeared, they show Enri and Nfirea both say "huh?" and it pans over to empty space and you hear Lupusregina say "huh?" before cutting to Ainz yelling "huh?!?" in his tent. She was just saying how shocked she was by all the goblins appearing.
Likely Enri has been leveling up her leadership and command skills and had extremely high reputation with the goblins since she has kept them for months and months and they all love her. It being an emergency might also have helped but it activated a hidden function in the horn and summoned a large army. It would be next to worthless anyway in the game, since a player would steamroll those level 20-40ish goblins, but in the New World it's a different story.

- Lupisregina has a habit of turning invisible and watching people up close....
She's usually quiet while invisible, but when she saw the army, she yelled in shock....
That's why, when the army was summoned, you could hear her react even though you couldn't see her....
She was right behind Enri.....
They didn't need the 5000 troops for the villiage. The 5000 troops were to protect the crown prince. But, as it turns out, it was not enough for either objective.
That! My friend! That was my favourite episode of Overlord until I watched the 4th season finale.
horn of the goblin general
by default it would summon 20 low level goblins
it was later revealed that it has a hidden faction meter
as this goblin faction meter rises so does the power of the horn
after using the 1st horn, Enri took care of the goblins meaning the faction meter starts to gain xp.
it then got a further boost when she rescue agu and accepted some of his tribe
Death knights are 35 lvl and Redcaps are 43 lvl. Luprisinga used low lvl scroll from Ainz library to summon goblins to help and scary prince, but even as low level quality the scroll could be she summoned a lot Redcaps at the end.
Yes, though Death Knights have severely lopsided stats. They have the offensive capabilities of a level 20-25 and the defensive capabilities of a level 40-45 so even though the red caps are technically stronger it wouldn't be a one sided match up. 😁👍
13:40 Redcaps get the color for their headgear by dyeing them in the blood of their victims.
After the events of this episode, Enri gets the epithet of "Warlord Enri the Bloody". Also, iirc, about Lupisregina saying "raising my voice behind Enny", if you go back to when Enri blew the horn you'll hear both Ainz and Lupisregina going "Huh?" that's what she was talking about.
In the game no one knew that the Horn of the Goblins General has a hidden effect since most people just use the Goblins summons as meat shields. However Enri was able to unlock the requirements to actually summon the Goblin General Army.
We are left to guess why the horn summoned that many, But author mentioned it might be for 3 reasons, Community thinks it was close relationship with goblins, being in a dangerous situation And having levels in summoner and leader(she just became leader of village).
And lupusregina was behind them the whole time, she is their guardian afterall, and even she was shocked when enri summoned an army and that`s why camera zooms out and we hear a muffled Ehh from behind them.
And btw at the end Lupus said she is not as good as her sister Solution because solution(corrosive slime) usually dissolves her victims inside her for weeks, but she was only able to torture the prince for 30 min and killed him afterward.
1:35 he didn't need the 5000 soldiers for the village, but if you remember last episode, one of the nobles (who has a daughter that is engaged to this prince) sent his own personal 5000 troops to protect the prince. He wants to ensure his safety for favoritism if the first prince ends up king one day.
Not sure if it has been said before but Enri is indeed stronger than the regular farmer npcs. After summoning the original 20 goblins she got a Commander class for being a good leader which has allowed her to passively level up and develop her Command skills. Her summoning the globin army is probably for her being effectively a Goblin Commander and having good karma towards them.

Btw those redcaps are in fact, stronger than death knights, so you know just how dangerous those are. Gazef would have lost to a single one of those and Enri has 13 as her bodyguards.
It is not said why or how they were summoned. It could be she leveled up her commanding skills thanks to having those goblins for so long. Maybe it was because of how she tested the goblin she earned rep. Maybe it's because she was face with a 5k-ish army. Maybe because of all the previous.
Ainz has very little knowledge of this new world, and the people in it use different abilities along the ones he is used to from the game, so who knows it maybe it's like Log Horizon where things from the game change.
As with video game logic, the summoner gains XP when their summons fight. In this way, Enri is quickly leveling up despite not doing any fighting herself.
Enri now posses the 3rd strongest army in the continent... like damm long live Enri the Bloody
Personally, I suspect given how the number of summoned goblins matched the number of soldiers that one of the conditions for the horn is likely facing a massive amount of foes. Things like a commander level or reputation are things I think video game players would be likely to try. However, a player at a level where the horn would be useful wouldn't be fighting huge amounts of enemies at once (since we're likely talking hundreds at least) and any player who could wouldn't seriously consider using a "trash item" on a scenario where enemies are high level or seriously outnumber them to such an extent.
The redcaps are about on par with the death knights, but where the death knights are defensive the redcaps are offensive.
