  • Al Capone was a famous outlaw in the 20's and 30's. Rumrunning was big in the day.
    The tunnels were close to the railway for easy access to running rum anywhere.
    Al was a very liked man and even ran a few honest businesses.

      Yea there was a lot of older buildings. It's about five hours from my home base.

    That's strange your in moose jaw, I have a job offer in moose jaw. And my best friend lives in moose jaw... I could be moving there soon

      You seem to know more than the average person. Wonder why they have all the news papers with how he did lots of things there. The people actually liked him. He was a good man to the people not the law. Not sure where you are getting your facts from. I think you better check your Moose Jaw History. I used to live there so I do know a little bit.

      @@josemaiz1444 hey I was born in Swift Current. Yes I know that some say it's hearsay that he was there. He owned some hotels in Sask and Manitoba. The tunnels of his time were used to run liquor to the railway, whether he was there or not. But the tunnels were made long before he was ever there. I really liked the hotel across the street they say he lived in with the steel backed chair and the escape out the fireplace. Pretty great stuff if it's not entirely true. Thanks for commenting .
