We’re Marianne and Chris, a married couple from the UK. After some life changing events we decided that life was just too short. We sold all our belongings, bought an old Campervan & rented our house to travel full time. The aim is to attempt to visit every country in the world in either our van or with a backpack. We started videoing our travels for our family and then decided it was a wonderful way to document and share our adventures.
Our latest adventure started in January 2020 when we left the UK in an attempt to drive our van all the way around the world. Let the adventures continue.

Of course it’s turkeys best holiday place but ssshhhhh don’t tell everybody, they’ll all want to come to the place we call paradise. There is nowhere else quite like it that’s why people go back year after year.

Welcome to Dalyan! I understand very well your excitement! When I came here first time many years ago, I felt like you and I said that I hope I die here and rest in this graveyard under the king's tombs. Before got retired I visited Dalyan many times. Finally, I m retired and living here for 2 years. I always wander around the ancient city. Touching those stones, breathing the air there, thinking about the people of the past and walking those roads ... is a wonderful feeling. I climbed many times to the Caunos hill, never bored of it! My opinion is, Dalyan the best place to live.
We loved Dalyan when we visited. So much to see there, and stunning scenery. A boat trip down the waterways to the beach was fabulous! We’ve been a couple of times! We even got to meet Kaptan June, what an amazing lady! ❤️

You know i don't get it. You are doing such a wonderful job advertising Turkey. Ministry of Tourism should join you at the highest level of contribution and promote your channel to get more viewers world wide. As a turkish native that's how I feel. Have fun guys and God bless!

Hi ma ta - we do hope to ... at the moment we are sticking to the south coast as you can imagine even with heating it is best for us in a van to keep to the warmer coast weather 😂🚐😉🌺
I feel that if they were to promote it wouldn't be comfortable and as enjoying because they HAD to do it but if they get to experience for them and you tube (there choice) it would also be enjoying for us because when I see promotions of ads for places the just make them look to good then you see it in real life and its so different and less enjoying on my behalf

My favourite place ever, and down the river at turtle beach, the best food I've ever eaten, believe it or not a meatball sandwich from a hut.
The illuminated tombs are amazing at night. 15 years ago was the last time I was there, must go back.
Those tombs carved into the mountainside look absolutely spectacular!
Great vantage point from the top of the hill. Nice to see all the organic farmland and the beehives 😍

During some of your videos, while Mrs. P. and I are watching them on the telly, I bring up Google Maps to your location on my phone and explore with you using the Street, Satellite, and Terrain views. This episode is perfect for that!!! Dalyan seems idyllic -- hiking terrain, archeological sites, beautiful views, delicious food, and iconic sea life. I can see why you love it so much! 😎👍❤xx
Yes - this spot has lots of geographical plusses and also groups of things to do too !! cycling, walking, volunteering with turtles, dogs, cats etc, litter picking on the beach !! some things that would keep me out of mischief LOL - Marianne xx we are glad you are enjoying the videos xx

Beautiful, beautiful Dalyan. Its just one of those places that touches the heart strings. Sitting at night, having a quiet drink, hearing the river lapping and gazing onto the lit up tombs is one of my absolute favourite things ever. I could sit there for hours and feel so peaceful and blessed. Dalyan is one incredibly special place. So looking forward to Wednesday for installment number 2. Love all your videos but it's wonderful to see places I know so well through your eyes. I am reliving some very special times, thank you. Your videos are just wonderful. I feel like I am travelling with friends

I visited in 2019 and booked to go back twice in 2020 alas,but I will go back when allowed fell in love with the place.

Dalyan and the area around there is stunning, I can see why you love it. We have done the boat trip to the lake past the Lycian Tombs on many occasions 😀 I feel that once you see more of the area and move further south your going to be even more impressed if that’s possible.😍

21.10 you can actually find random women at rondom places like that picking up some seasonal herbs to cook in the Aegean Region. Turkish couisine isn’t just about kebaps and doners , aegean people consume herbs and veggies a lot 🤩🧿

Turkey is the best country
Like the balık ekmek, an awesome Dalyan special! I go to Dalyan several times a year, but have never crossed the strait, so it’s definitely something I shall do next time. At the other end of the Dalyan Strait is the lovely Lake Köyceğiz and on the other side of the lake is the town of Köyceğiz. You probably went past on the D400, but you can’t see everywhere. Looking forward to Dalyan part II.

Turkish people are so natural and friendly - you got some really exceptional footage of the Lycian tombs here. I stayed here for a month when I was a child and am writing a story about it currently so came here - brings back great memories of a place that is still so beautiful - thank you.

Küçük Ebegümeci ( Malva neglecta) , Büyük ebegümeci (Malva sylvestris) It is good for dizziness. Mix it with fennel and it becomes a good meal.
I cannot wait to get back to my house in Dalyan after lockdown finishes.
