In 2600 years from now the only thing recognizable will be granite countertops laying on the ground. Someone will likely be hiking around, puzzled as to what their purpose was.
Gabriel I want to express appreciation for how quickly and close to real time that you put your videos out. It means a lot and contributes to your authenticness. So many vloggers put tjeir videos out long after their actual travels and it creates a total disconnect and personally, I lose interest. So, thanks for keeping it fresh and in the now as much as possible!
When you got to the river if you had turned left instead of right you would have come to the little row boats to take you over the river for very little money. I spend a lot of time in Dalyan and would have loved to show you around. It,s the most wonderful place.
It is the beach on one side and the lagoon on the other. You can get a boat from Dalyan through the reed beds to the beach. I stayed a couple of years ago and it was so relaxing and interesting. Lots of turtles in the sea and the lagoon.

“Separate ethnic group that lived here” DNA wise I don’t think there’s much difference now and back then. The turkic part of modern Turks is not that much, maybe up to 5-10% at most. It’s not like the whole Byzantine population was replaced. There’s a continuity. Also, a big part of European DNA(and yours) is Anatolian, from the time when they brought farming and agriculture into Europe.
