The nazis won the space race, it's not even debatable. It doesn't matter which super power you think had more boxes checked off because both of them were using nazi tech/ scientists.
I think though that the achievements of the U.S. and the Soviet Union (Russia) are both incredible and shouldn't be understated. Also it was because of the soviet union that the U.S. actually put money where its mouth was for the space program Funny enough JFK actually wanted to do a joint moon landing and proposed it to Nikita Khrushchev but he was assassinated and Lyndon B. Johnson was in Khrushchev eyes not as trustworthy so the proposal was pulled and the U.S. went it alone Space is one of the few areas were I see no real distinction between national accomplishments because in the end they are human accomplishments first then - insert country here - accomplishments. I guess hopefully we can agree on that Also I am rooting for a new space race cause that would be fucking awesome to see U.S. vs. EU vs China vs Russia? Who would make it mars first? My money so far is on the U.S. especially if the SLS gets off the ground they would have a massive headstart cause they have designed ships for interplanetary travel before (yes going to the moon is considered interplanetary) I would also like to see and international moon base and space station between all the major space faring nations (U.S., Canada, EU, Russia, China, Japan) and if they make it like a refueling hub of sorts it could also be the launch point of mars mission by whichever country wants to fund that mission Alternatively they could all work together and make a joint landing on mars as sign that global co-operation in space is still a thing and should be kept out of politics as much as possible.

They could take two weeks to release and two weeks of patching before going on vacation. Mark my words, release in two weeks.
@@str34mln3rI hope so. Ever since this teaser stuff came out its made the flaws in planet management even more glaring. The new systems just seem more fun.
Let's hear it for Neutronium-Eyes Cody at 0:18 . Flawless reference.
As a member of the Union of Supreme Synthetic Republics, I find this video highly illogical.
No comrade you see this shows the difference between reality and propoganda of inferior economic policies of mega corps.
Workers of the galaxy unite, you have nothing to lose but lootboxes.
Sucks for you, because synthetic empires aren't immune to a megacorp's branch offices. Better yet, they aren't immune to a spiritualist megachurch's branch offices either. Megalulz ensured.
@@warmadkiller it's not unreasonable though, robots like any machinery require alot of logistics to keep running

1:51 anybody notice the sheer number of titans heading towards that planet?
Just spreading prosperity to "Former UNE colonies"
This is going to add a whole new dimension to species/empire design. I'm going to have to re-learn the whole game.
What fun!
Mega corporations are getting featured? Most intriguing.
These “story” trailers (Path to Utopia, For As Long As I Shall Live, Yet to be Discovered, Console Edition, Fall of an Empire, MegaCorp) keep getting better and better. Love the in universe artwork and voice overs! Looking forward to Dec. 6.
My stock profits just peaked all-time high and my currency is harder than ever.
...wait what
If we ever make it to interstellar space, this will likely be our future. This draws upon The East India Company, Virginia Co, Dutch East India, etc.
The Popular Republic of Disney in a few centuries.
A fantastic trailer paradox. I must admit I think this is one of your better ones that switch between saying prosperity for all and showing a gigantic "trade" fleet not to mention it's propaganda versus what is happening on some of these planets.
I bought the game a couple of days ago along with all the DLC as i'm a DLC hoarder.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into, I found a beginner guide from ASpec.
30 hours I played in 2 or 3 days before all hope was lost. I am so hooked.
I pre ordered MegaCorp and also voted for Stellaris and Paradox on steam.
Thank you for this amazing game that i'm going to put thousands of hours into.
Truly amazing.
That's definitely a release reveal. You have no idea how much I'm triggered by the fact that I'm going to be a quarter the way through a four hour college class while that's happening.
@Remove Talos think about it this way. You're giving time for any bugs and weird kinks to be worked out.

Can we ever expect and animated series or something like that on this game. I love the game and I think that would be the cherry on top of an amazing sunday.

Megacorp at its finest
Funny thing about this dlc is that even thoe is advertised as a dystopia megacorp most megacorp builds are fanatic xenophile and egalitarian so they tend to be part of the nicer empires

@TurtleShroom_"leftists can't into science"_ *sharing the list of some achievements in space such as first Sputnik, first woman and man of color in space*_"b-but~, a flag..."_
The nazis won the space race, it's not even debatable. It doesn't matter which super power you think had more boxes checked off because both of them were using nazi tech/ scientists.
Nazis didn't even participate lol. They could though, if only they were clever enough not to attack other countries
I think though that the achievements of the U.S. and the Soviet Union (Russia) are both incredible and shouldn't be understated. Also it was because of the soviet union that the U.S. actually put money where its mouth was for the space program
Funny enough JFK actually wanted to do a joint moon landing and proposed it to Nikita Khrushchev but he was assassinated and Lyndon B. Johnson was in Khrushchev eyes not as trustworthy so the proposal was pulled and the U.S. went it alone
Space is one of the few areas were I see no real distinction between national accomplishments because in the end they are human accomplishments first then - insert country here - accomplishments. I guess hopefully we can agree on that
Also I am rooting for a new space race cause that would be fucking awesome to see U.S. vs. EU vs China vs Russia? Who would make it mars first?
My money so far is on the U.S. especially if the SLS gets off the ground they would have a massive headstart cause they have designed ships for interplanetary travel before (yes going to the moon is considered interplanetary)
I would also like to see and international moon base and space station between all the major space faring nations (U.S., Canada, EU, Russia, China, Japan) and if they make it like a refueling hub of sorts it could also be the launch point of mars mission by whichever country wants to fund that mission
Alternatively they could all work together and make a joint landing on mars as sign that global co-operation in space is still a thing and should be kept out of politics as much as possible.
Megacorp has come a long way since Ratchet&Clank Going Commando.
