It's their job and it obviously pays really well. Everyone gets tired of their job at some point, but not everyone's job pays as well and not everyone gets to live in beautiful places. They likely spend up to 10 hours editing each video, which compared to a 40 hour work week, really isn't that bad.

Actually, no beach can be private in the Philippines. It is actually a law, although LE doesn't enforce it. Private security preventing you access to the beach along the beach shore is illegal.
My understanding in Philippines resorts can lease beachfront and sea for docks for exclusive use. Small island we investigated for sale had such a lease in the due diligence package sent to us. I suspect happens more often on small islands. We noticed also Indian groups of Palawan also have rights to affect the development of islands for resorts or personal use.
The reason they probably don't want cruisers to anchor and come ashore is most of the time they are just doing so to cut through the resort. Also, I think they probably own the pier. Once they realized they wanted to eat at the restaurant they were given permission. It is rather short-sighted of resorts to turn away people who might decide to buy stuff even if they are just passing through. Especially that resort that was completely public from the street. People try to do the same in the US and the beaches are mostly if not completely public, but people are not allowed onto the properties, and homeowners will tell you that you can't be on their beach.
I have enjoyed your videography over the years. It doesn’t hurt to have some over the most beautiful places on earth to work your camera magic. Vigilant and diligent. I hit a “stick” off the New England Coast at 2 am, well didn’t see the buoy but hit the net it was marking. . .10 miles off shore, foul weather, thank goodness because a 15 ft wave picked us up and released us from the net. . . Spent the next two hours freaking out about the other side of the net catching us. In the US, these buoy (sticks) are a bit taller and sometimes lit, but our radar didn’t pick them up. Great vid.
Yep, pot buoys are a hazard off the UK east coast too. We got hung up on the line trailing from one to a whole string off pots. It took us an hour to get free after dropping the sails then sawing the line free of the rudder.
I can't begin to tell you how much I love the looks of your new cat both inside and out. Plus the look of the sails with it make it the sleekest vessel out there. It looks like a spa on the water. So relaxing. Then the places you're taking us are just icing on the cake. Or is it the other way around?
Cashew nut oil and poison ivy oils have urushiol (look it up) in a micro thin layer that's similar to tree sap. It's sticky and not easy to get off with just a shower/bath. Alcohol, diluted bleach, sunshine (UV breaks it down) , and sea water to air cycles (to dry it out) can help. Touching it or wearing clothing over the sap can smear it around and cause the irritated area to expand or spread.
Not days later. It might spread the oil when it is sitting on the skin after touching the plant, but not days later after it’s been washed away. And contrary to popular belief, the breaking blisters do not cause more rash. Instead it is just that different areas of exposure react at different speeds, making it appear that what had ruptured had spread. But it doesn’t “spread”, it’s just the varying rate of reaction to the original exposure.

@@srcastic8764 No the oil can still be on you, under your nails, or on your clothes and cause new rashes days later. You have to get rid of the oils from the plant.
@@TERMICOBRA sure. But what I’m saying is people think if the blisters rupture the liquid from the blisters will cause the rash to spread. That the “blister juice” spreads it. That is not true. The reason it may seem that way is because it just takes longer for the reaction to show sometimes, or, as you said, you may still have oil from the plant somewhere and you rub it on you again, causing a fresh reaction. But the blisters rupturing will not spread the reaction.

@@frankveronese1290Quite the opposite. I'm only after positivity. Why would you tell someone you like (Nikki and Jason) that they're your second favorite? A govt agency regulate these shores to private resorts. Its called foreshore lease by the Department of Natural Resources. No matter what bodies of water belongs to the State and foreshore lease is granted to Private Resorts including bodies of water and parts of land from the high tide level 40m into inland in rural areas. They are never allowed to be private but allowed to be leased.
The Dept. of the Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has a reputation of corruption where every inch of the country has a price if you have deep pockets. That foreshore leasing would be contestable if you're Filipino. Not if you're a foreigner though.
Fantastic video. It completes my Sunday and I miss it when you miss a Sunday, but as the say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." I was hoping to see what the warranty items are that were completed. Can't wait for next Sunday's video.
The watch spot: Great for being extra vigilant! Also, that's a great spot for about 2 inches of high-density close-celled foam! I'm liking your self-setting fore sail almost as much as you are! Have you checked host nation charts to see if they have any safe passage corridors between all the FADs? Your "coffee" is practically its own food group! That looks fabulous! "We've only got six knots..." Better than most!
I think you guys are really enjoying the variety of life in the Philippines more than you're showing in your videos. There is still so much to see, especially in the cities.
Thank you for introducing us to your friends. Most often that doesn't happen on most channels. We have some precious friends who live out there. Thank you for reminding me of them.
Every other week - I'll take it if it means the stories and production quality can be this good. Personally, I think the pressure to put something out every week is one of the reasons that so many of the episodes made by the other sailing channels focus on the negative and things going wrong. 'What broke today' is probably an easy and readily available story line on any given boat for any given week, but they soon feel repetitive and boring. Not to mention they don't leave me with the same enlightened and light hearted vibes that an episode like one this delivers.
Ag1 is legit just caffeine. Also, if anyone is wondering. It's gritty and tastes similar to pineapple. When you get the grit, it makes you wanna cough it out of ur throat. But beyond the caffeine boost, I saw no noticeable change in my daily.

But the blisters rupturing will not spread the reaction.
@@srcastic8764 I've never heard anyone say that so I got confused on why you said it was popular belief or that if anyone in our comment chain said it.
This video had an excellent ending compared to its beginning. You guys are definitely living the life. It's good to have friends and keep close. Relive this experience in mind and body over and over. Best...
As usual broadcast quality production and editing. Very nice.
After a decade of watching you guys, you're like my younger siblings in my heart. ♥
And like my children! Ha ha ❤
It is SO nice to see you enjoying life again! Life is short and you need to make the most of every day. Thank you for continuing to let us share your experiences. ❤️
I am full! Full from sailing with you. Full from you experiencing a beautiful sunset. And full from all of that fabulous food!! Thanks for another wonderful start to my Sunday! ❤️❤️
I am enjoying your touring the PI. I was stationed their in the mid 60's. Did a lot of touring. You are bringing back some great memories. I agree the Pilipino people can be addicting.
I live in Mississippi and was a dialysis nurse for 10 years. I worked with several nurses and techs from the Philippines. They are very hard workers and their food is AMAZING!!!
What a wonderful, relaxed place and people smiling. water and scenery is paradise!
For all skin problems, from sun burns to those ugly rashes, get (or make yourself) St. John's wort Cantarion) in olive oil. It's easy to make, pick St. John's wort with flowers, put it in a glass bottle, add oil and leave it for two weeks in a sunny place.
Good advice 100%. Vit E 400s are in my medical kit. Crack open and use as soother healer.
Suffering from poison ivy myself. A covered ice pack numbs and has eased the itch for me.
Thanks for sharing.
Another awesome Wynnsday!!
WOW! Flying Spin and The Places Where You Will Go🎉 Jason I hope your rash has completely improved🙏
Thank you for still publishing at 720p, love to you both.
Why is 720 good?
@@chasetonga it's a lot better than 360 or 480! not all of us live in areas where it is possible to stream at 4K or 1080 or have devices that are capable of it!!!
Be diligently vigilant!
Learning the ropes of the new boat.
I'll be happy to fill in for Jason while he's undergoing leprosy treatment.... I can sail (have my own sail boat) swim, speak 'merican, and am a mechanic.... Ocasionally I fix stuff...or break it to the point that buying new seems resonable... I'm also an Expert at feeding fish in any seas over 4 ft!!! 😊
Hope it's just allergies and he's well soon!!! Have enjoyed your videos since you coame up here to Alaska!!!
Oh my gosh, you guys that was incredible. What a warm welcome. I love the fact that you get to immersed yourself in local life wherever you go Thank you so much Jason I hope you’re rash went away Sending much love to you both from LIZ out in Cali 💜😎🤟🏻⛵️ 👙
Seeing a GWTW video pop on my subscriptions makes my day!
Your Cat is so beautiful. Colors are so on point. So calming
My husband is on a diving trip in Palawan as I write this. I was unable to go due my health. He extended his stay because he got a “virus” while there. After watching this, I’m not sure about that. lol. He’s on week 5. He may never return. lol So thank you for sharing as it’s allowed me to see the beautiful place that has captured his heart. Kinda makes me even more sad to not be there.
What a beautiful place, and the people so full of smiles. it's made me smile so big. thank you for sharing ♥
Really like the new Catamaran love the color and interior design. I think back to the years that I have been watching your RV videos to your switch to the sea and world traveling. Great videos. Fred in Texas
A delightful and refreshing adventure - thank you for sharing! I am having my AG1 while watching this
The new boat oozes luxury and beauty.
It really does...
Great episode. Great scenery. Great food and hospitality. What is not to like? Glad you could bring us along. See you both soon.
that looked like such an amazing meal/atmosphere.
You two are back being my number one in sailing adventures, after Good, Bad and Ugly decide to become landlubbers! Another great episode!
I suggest some work on your complimenting skills
@Bacciagalupe what is wrong with my comment? I love Good, Bad and Ugly and continue to follow them. The choice they made is to have a family and I respect them for making a 180 degree decision! You are just a troll looking to start controversy!
@@frankveronese1290Quite the opposite. I'm only after positivity. Why would you tell someone you like (Nikki and Jason) that they're your second favorite? That's not going to make them feel as good as you may have intended. Sorry I phrased my comment in a way that came off as a personal attack - I wish you all the best
All I can say is "BEAUTFUL"
Yes! Sailing and exploring! Love seeing the boat and the dingy in action.
Beautiful graphics and music!
Fantastic video. It completes my Sunday and I miss it when you miss a Sunday, but as the say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." I was hoping to see what the warranty items are that were completed. Can't wait for next Sunday's video.
I look forward to your videos every week and they never disappoint. What a great dinner that must have been. Thanks for sharing.
What an incredible episode! I feel you are the travel agency! Love it!❤
One of your best videos yet. Thanks guys!
Another day in paradise. Fair winds.
Thank you for the beautiful sail! Glad to see you on the water.
I think you guys are really enjoying the variety of life in the Philippines more than you're showing in your videos. There is still so much to see, especially in the cities.
Such an amazing place, thanks for sharing!
I really like the design and colours on and in your boat.
It's quite beautiful...
Beautiful boat! Love the color choices and schemes.
Oh, Jason, Im so sorry. It was nice to have knowed ya.
!
😂
Thank you for introducing us to your friends. Most often that doesn't happen on most channels. We have some precious friends who live out there. Thank you for reminding me of them.
Could forward sonar have helped spot those fishing markers. I think there are versions that see quite a good distance.
While you were sailing, There was a lint or something small on left bottom half way down on your lens. Another awesome sail!! Ty for sharing.
Hiya be watching you guys from the very beginning and seeing Jason is he ok looks like he has lost so much weight xxxxxxx
is this the new normal - - - new episodes every other week? They are fantastic and informative, but it messes up my week when I don't have one.
Yeah! It’s always fun to see your adventures! Hope the new “digs” are feeling familiar..
Ag1 is legit just caffeine. Also, if anyone is wondering. It's gritty and tastes similar to pineapple. When you get the grit, it makes you wanna cough it out of ur throat. But beyond the caffeine boost, I saw no noticeable change in my daily.
I need to thank you for all your videos, I have seen more of the world thru your videos an adventures than I could possibly have seen myself, really thank you, you two are a gift from the universe. Sail on .
Another great video! Thank you for taking us along!
Beautiful destinations and cultural experiences.
Not an easy life, but great experiences.
Great episode. Tuka houses are amazing looking.
The drone shots look amazing and Curiosity 2 so beautiful ⛵ sailing in the water ❤❤
They have quite the private dock as well. Nice.
i wanna visit the philippines one day. this is just beautiful and fun
I am glad that you are seeming to stay south for a while.
You two lovely people have brought me to a heavenly place and experience once again. So many thanks. Trust Jason's rash has cleared up easily. I never watch without appreciating your video expertise. Smooth sailing and beautiful sunsets 😘😘 Sending hugs.
Back on your game. This was a very enjoyable video, a flashback from days gone by. Thanks
I missed a couple of videos 🙃, so catching up now 😊. Great editing as always. You two are by far the CUTEST couple ever, and your boat ain't too shabby either!
Man that looks like you guys have found the garden of Eden. Stunning visuals. Love the banter.
I see a lot of people posting about how long they have been following you. We’ve been watching for 9 years now and that seems forever ago haha! We starting vlogging and living in a skoolie because of this channel. So so so crazy. I wonder how successful vlog viewership would have to be before deciding to update camera gear and editing programs 😅
Great night out with new friends.
