Ended up with a stock pilot and a 115 main with the needle clip half way on the 22mm mikuni. But I think I’m going to the 26mm carb because of the smoother air flow into the engine. Going from the carb into the intake of the engine there was a small “step” because of difference in size. Though I’m not fond of this, it doesn’t seem to affect how it runs. I just put 140 miles on this setup and it ran great. But maybe it can be better still.
@MilesOney-ed7cw I rode the bike between an average elevation of 1500ft-3000ft. I could have clipped the needle one notch down to richen it up just a smudge for the mid.
Top speed I’m not sure. I geared it for more bottom end power. Tb cam, bbr rev box, 22mm mikuni carb and pc exhaust. Pretty simple set up. Runs good. Solid power.
Because that linkage is what saves your shaft from getting damaged when you wreck. That’s why you see people run shifter braces on their pitbikes that are able too. Cradle and shifter brace is prolly next for our 110. Way over due.
That’s the cam we purchased. Only ripped it down the road jetting the bike. We have our Windrock trip coming soon so we will really be able to tell then. If you watch the difference in our 22mm carb vid vs this one, you can definitely tell a difference on how it reaches the top end faster just in revving the bike.
Sooo rode the bike 140 miles on our trip. And I can definitely say the bike has more top end for sure. But you do sacrifice your bottom end. I found myself shifting a lot more to keep the engine happy. I think there’s more top end available with the bbr rev box installed but I need to go to the bigger carb being the 26mm. The only question is do I just go big bore now. Or do I see how the 26mm reacts first with stock displacement 🤔
What cam size u put in?
My head has a bearing in it that won’t allow my cam to go in
Sorry late to this comment. Did you ever figure out what was going on with this? Did they send you the right cam?
Do you adjust valves when warm or cold
I do it cold
I’m gonna run this same setup, what jetting did you end up with?

What elevation are you jetting for ?

Thanks for the info bud I appreciate it!!
The old man is gonna be doin his soon. Might need your advice
whats your top speed of your 140 and what all have you done to it?

Also why haven’t you put the 85 shifter to get rid of all that linkage?

Bike sounds good! Is this the tb 2.5 mx camshaft? How does the bike feel compared to the stock cam riding?

@@FullSpeedImpulse do the big bore its the best thing ive ever done to the bike
I think you’re right. Prolly get it done before our next big trip.
What paint did you use on the frame?
That’s factory. Monster energy editions came like that
