No dude it's not the LP model but you've got to remember I was running these tests very early. So there has been a lot of optimization done driver wise. Games should at all perform way better than in my test now if there's no thermal bottleneck of course. And tbh I'm not that far away from your result remember there are mostly heavy teamfights in my benchmark sequence. If there's nothing going on I can also have like 120-140fps but who cares about benchmark sequences where nothing is happening.
Hey, thank you so much! I was about to buy a laptop with mx 350 but I decided to wait. Could you tell me what the price is? In any currency, I dont mind
How can I activate the mx 450 when playing? I couldn't do that because the mx is usually between 40% and less while the internal xe card is completely consumed in games. How can I rely mainly on the mx 450 to get those results in the video with the mx. Please answer and thank you very much for this video
Yes it's comparable to some extend. But your gtx 1650 max-q is having 4GB of VRAM. That's a huge bonus to the 2GB VRAM of the MX450. Plus your GTX 1650 max-q should be 10-20% faster in every title even without including the vram bottleneck. The MX450 is matching the performance of the old GTX1050 2GB.
The GPU the MX450 is based off - the GTX 1650 Max-Q - is the actual best buy here. I had a 35W variant in a Lenovo laptop, and with undervolting and overclocking I reached 9000 Fire Strike graphics score. That's about 50% better than the MX450 undervolted - plus it has 4GB VRAM to play all modern titles. I don't understand why they haven't been putting those in well made ultrabooks all over the place - they would sell really well, and they're low powered enough to not throttle a huge amount with semi-decent cooling. Go figure.
Hi, this maybe too much to ask, but I was hoping if you could share FPS of games like Witcher 3 or Assassin's Creed Odyssey or Valhalla, games like those.

I'd say you should wait at least 3 weeks. Then you'll have the exact prices of the Intel laptops. If they're at the same price point like the AMD APUs you should definitely take the Intel ones because their GPU might be a bit faster.
Neither nore. Connected to the monitor is the HDMI display connector of this laptop. If you mean which gpu chip worked as 3d accelerator for these games it's the MX450, of course. If you mean which GPU chip is working during windows operations it's the iris xe.

Well I think 22 games are enough. The games you mentioned have been tested. Nobody can tell you what piece of hardware suits you best. The mx450 is good enough if you want a compact device. But you should also invest into a coolpad. If you don't care about the weight and size of your device you can take any other device with a gtx 1050 or better. Because already the gtx1050 matches the performance of the mx450.
I would like to but unfortunately I don't own this system anymore. So no more tests possible. However Fortnite in Alpha Performance Mode is of course going to run with more than 60FPS easily all the time.
Bro this setup against Ryzen 4600h and integrated Vega 6 graphics which will provided a much more better gaming experience? Also is the difference huge?
Thex450 is way faster than integrated graphics. Only the new Ryzen 6th gen will be able to come close and also in some titles beat the performance of the mx450. These devices will be released next month but probably way out of your price range.
Well, that's a totally different topic. I'm just doing benchmarks of systems without analyzing the performance change over the years. But yes it all started with CSS that became far worse performance-wise during 2005-2015. Now valve continues unoptimizing games. They want you to buy new hardware ofc 😁 On modern hardware their games run pretty well.
I'm thinking about getting the hp envy 17t with the mx450, but I'm a bit concerned about the overheating problem you presented. Is the issue a fundamental issue with the gpu, or just specific to your laptop?
All these super compact devices will run into these temps. Just use a coolpad for heavy gaming sessions are your totally fine. You don't have to be afraid of high temps.

There are tons of different versions of the MX450 on the market resulting in totally different performances. The one in this video is the seconds fastest one. You've probably seen slower versions. N18S-G5-B: GBD-128 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 28.5 W N18S-G5: GB2E-64 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 25 W N18S-G5: GB2E-64 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR5 3501 MHz, 25 W N18S-LP: GB2E-64 Package, 720 - 930 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 12 W
Could you do a MX350 comparison to see how much of a difference that GDDR6 upgrade made? I'd agree that 2GB VRAM really is the main bottleneck of the MX cards but I guess Nvidia has to fill that niche somehow without cannibalizing on their "true" entry level notebook cards like the 1650's

Could you please tell me what FPS you are getting playing CS:GO on 1080p LOW settings? Would greatly appreciate this as most users play on low settings.
High fps in Valorant are no matter of the used GPU. Rather the cpu is important. And the i5 1135G7 is very fast in that aspect. Also the tested Valorant version is pretty old regarding today's version. The performance became way worse over time due to some performance killing patches.
@@CRSTNBENCH But is it really worth giving up the power and energy efficiency of the Ryzen to get a laptop with Intel 11th gen and MX450 that together consume at least double?

@@harshvardhansinghpatel238 you can't "overclock" the tdp of a GPU. You have to flash the whole gpu BIOS. That's not an option for the ordinary user like you. Plus this has been a pre-production device, mostly for presentation, so you won't even be able to find a 25W BIOS on the web. This benchmark is showing what the mx450 is capable off at 25W. If you plan to buy the exact same Asus model you'll have to stick to the 12W resulting in 20-30% less in terms of fps. If you plan to buy a mx450 I can only recommend buying a model with the 25W version instead of the 12W.

keep a look at notebookcheck.com this week. They've got something in charge 😉
That's odd, I just got a Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 14inch with the i7 1165G7, MX450 GDDR6 2GB and 16GB RAM configuration, was running Dota 2 at max settings at between 95-132fps. Is your GPU the LP variant?
No dude it's not the LP model but you've got to remember I was running these tests very early. So there has been a lot of optimization done driver wise. Games should at all perform way better than in my test now if there's no thermal bottleneck of course.
And tbh I'm not that far away from your result remember there are mostly heavy teamfights in my benchmark sequence. If there's nothing going on I can also have like 120-140fps but who cares about benchmark sequences where nothing is happening.

How did you get your hands on a mx 450? I can't find any other news about it other than your channel.
It's a device out of our warehouse. These devices are soon going to be launched officially.
@@CRSTNBENCH Did you know, when exactly?
Btw this gpu is literally comparable to my gtx 1650 max-q. Now it means mx series don't suck that much at all. T-T
@@CRSTNBENCH and mx 450 laptops are are going to be really expensive while mine was only 700$. XD
Go figure.
OK cool
Excellent work
Thank you
I guess we find a good reason to keep our mask on. Can't wait for the price drop.

I'd say you should wait at least 3 weeks. Then you'll have the exact prices of the Intel laptops. If they're at the same price point like the AMD APUs you should definitely take the Intel ones because their GPU might be a bit faster.

Why is nobody talking about how badly optimized valve games became? Especially CS:GO. But also DotA 2 is a shame compared to some years ago.
Well, that's a totally different topic. I'm just doing benchmarks of systems without analyzing the performance change over the years. But yes it all started with CSS that became far worse performance-wise during 2005-2015. Now valve continues unoptimizing games. They want you to buy new hardware ofc 😁
On modern hardware their games run pretty well.
I'm thinking about getting the hp envy 17t with the mx450, but I'm a bit concerned about the overheating problem you presented. Is the issue a fundamental issue with the gpu, or just specific to your laptop?

High fps in Valorant are no matter of the used GPU. Rather the cpu is important. And the i5 1135G7 is very fast in that aspect. Also the tested Valorant version is pretty old regarding today's version. The performance became way worse over time due to some performance killing patches.
