It's a pretty little machine and certainly great value for money. I regret that something exactly like this wasn't available when I was learning to ride in the mid 1980s. Many Japanese bikes had some similarities and the old RE 350 Bullet was available but the Hunter is something else. I'd love one as a second bike. My current bike is a 2019 Continental GT 650.
Yes, that would’ve been great. There were small interceptors and ninjas, and this isn’t a lot different than a 500 Nighthawk. But yes, this would’ve been a great 80s bike.
Glad that you liked the Hunter 350, but the bigger sibling of your meteor 350, the flagship Royal Enfield Super meteor 650 is on its way to the States 😍 Super excited for your review on that as soon as its available at the dealerships there!😍
Test ride them both and get a sense of what you like. The Hunter is going to be a more aggressive position, and may be a more natural position to maneuver. The meteor is going to be in more cruiser position which puts your feet out in front of you a little bit, and makes it harder for you to stand up over things like railroad tracks, but makes it comfortable for a long ride. I also don’t know your size, but look at the 411 scram or Himalayan as well
If you plan on taking a passenger, the Meteor with a backrest may be the way to go. The seat(s) are a little longer. The Hunter does have a backrest option, but the seat is shorter. Decisions, decisions.😉✌🏾
Absolutely beautiful! Diminutive, perfectly proportioned, graceful lines, radiant! Just beautiful! And the motorcycle was nice, too. (…We’re only human!)
New sub from a wet and windy Scotland. Becky sounds super stoked with this little bike! It's great to see that natural enthusiasm. Notice your last video is 5 months ago? Are you guys still making content? You're nearly busting 1000! Huge target, worth the push. Cheers, Stevie.
Thanks Stevie! We really appreciate it. Yes, we have LOT’s of content shot, but so much editing to do. Including g a trip to the Rubicon and a red desert in Southern Utah. We will get on that. Maybe we will catch up with you I’m on a Scotland ride someday. Cheers!
Just did 245 miles on that bike in one ride . Absolutely no complaints with comfort or power and speed . Performed perfectly and is great for long epic rides
The Hunter is the only bike based on RE's J-platform that I have test ridden. It's really smooth and easy to ride. Excellent as an affordable city commuter.
Ya, we showed up at the dealership for another reason just as they rolled out the new bike. So it was all unplanned and with my phone. But we wanted to get it out there quickly.
Funny you should ask… video is coming. But the Himalayan is surprisingly comfortable for either of us to ride. It may be a little more knee be bend than you like, depending on your height. But it handless heavy guy just fine, even at 70mph
@@critterIMHO Then you should ride one. I bet you’d like it. I had the same response as I see on UA-cam a lot. I expected it to be a lot less capable than it is. Try one

@@motopicnic Himayalan looks different but many riders in India didn't liked it much! You should plan to visit India and then take ride from South to North India. Just like "Wild lens by Abrar" did and he got million followers 😄😄😄
That’s a great question. She LOVE’s Her meteor. She’ll never sell it. But she is selling her Bonneville T120 (too heavy) and she just bought a Himalayan for more adventurous, upright riding. So far she loves that too. But her sister is about to buy the Hunter and it’s the perfect commuter and curve carver for her. Both ladies are under 5’4” If you need to stand up or do occasional gravel roads etc, the Hunter or Himalayan are better choices. The Meteor is just really comfortable in the road.
It depends on your experience and what state you are in. You can call an agent or get online and get a quote. But motorcycle insurance is typically cheaper than cars. It could range from $300-900/year I would imagine this Hunter 350 would be cheap insurance.
I finally just saw one in real life. I can’t wait to write it as well! Thanks for asking. I’ll see if I can can it done soon, now that I know you’re looking for it
😂 Totally different ride. I rode the Kenai Peninsula in a Alaska on a Z900 and it went by in a whirl at 120mph. Great bike though. This bike is more of a style choice, comfortable seating and “Look up and see the sights” bike. It would be fun to have both. Thanks for watching.
Bikes are like cars. It's the way they look, sound, feel to ride. They aren't judged purely on power. It's a consideration but not the most important because the majority of the time most people ride at a speed the RE bikes are capable of. I mean do you really accelerate hard and go over 75 all the time. Saying that I like the z400 and have considered one but it just wouldn't give you the same feeling of riding something like the classic 350.
😂 If you think that’s cringe, you would HATE us in real life… that’s how we are (but we tame it for the camera) None of that is scripted. In fact, we showed and saw these bikes and made this impromptu video, because there no other reviews on it yet. 🤷🏻♂️ we are genuinely that excited. It sounds like maybe you’re from Portland?
