Check it out here: feiyu-scorp-mini-4-in-1-gimbal.kckb.st/05bd1706 Also, payload is 1200g/2.65 lb. It held the FX3 with most our primes without issue. 🤘
Hi, nice review, it caught my attention to possibly buy one. Just want to ask, is there a way you could test it on slightly heavier cam? I got a7iv (659g) and a 24-105mm sony lens (663g), thats 1322g in total. Do you think the gimbal can hold it? Thanks...
@@marvinpb9818 thanks! While I think it could hold it, I would not recommend it for that setup. It would work well with primes, but most zoom lenses on an a7 will cause performance issues. I would check out the rs3 (we reviewed) or a used rs2 if you need a gimbal for that lens.
Appreciate you pragmatic comments. Shooting casually only as a hobby, I don’t want to be encumbered with too many delicate equipment yet still appreciate getting smooth videos which is a challenge handheld
Thanks, it is nice to have a minimal camera rig whenever possible. This is one of the reasons I appreciate how far digital stabilization has come. However, it will be a while before it catches up with gimbals.
It's super lightweight and compact. I especially love the multi-function knob, it helps a lot when I shoot outdoors. Great travel companion and worth buying!
Did you know if this would be a fully compatible with Panasonic micro 4/3 cameras like G95/G90 beside the weight which I think wouldn't be a problem for this gimbal. Thank you in advance
Thanks🤘 Yes, it should handle that combination quite well. We use it for quick run and gun shoots on our fx3/20mm. Keep in mind, this is a great "budget" gimbal and you are using high end gear. You will eventually want to upgrade if you plan on carrying heavier lenses. Should you decide to get something bigger (and 2-3x the cost) I would check out the rs3. We have videos on it as well.
Hello, I was wondering if I could buy it off of you, if possible, only reason why I am going to such lengths is because I am a little worried about the third party website that FeiyuTech is selling their products from. The customers, including me, seem to be getting very slow responses as it pertains to feedback about our order progress, tracking, shipping, delivery, etc...And I know it'll take months to ship/deliver. so if its a possibility, I would love to see if I could buy yours from you? If not, that is fine as well, just weighing my options
Interesting. Is this compatible with a Panasonic GH5 ? (GH4 and GH5s are listed in the kickstarter compatibility file), but nobody can apparently confirm for a GH5...
I would like to let you know that Feiyu-tech used all the backers through Kickstarter as an interest-free loan bank. They are slowly fulfilling orders and shipping via boat to all their backers while selling the product on Amazon cheaper and with faster shipping than to their backers. Most backers are reporting that they have not received tracking confirmation and, if they have, it is at least a month out. I feel they used the Kickstarter money to build the product to sell to Amazon without thought of their backers. In the future, I ask that you not consider making a video about Kickstarter products or at least let people know that it is recommended to wait until it is commercially available.
I mean, yes, my entire UA-cam existence is post-hoc justification for financial decisions. The scorp is a strange one though. That baked in handle trips me out. For anyone interested in an even more minimalist solution, see the Crane M3. It does my FX3 and the micro-prime triplets from Sony quite handily.
Haha yes it is😅 The M3 is also a great gimbal. I personally like the baked in handle. Having the screen right in front of me is a big plus. I tend to not use as many features when the screen location is *slightly* less convenient. Admittedly, the rs3 is our go to for the FX3, but this makes a great bcam/phone gimbal.

@@CK3DPRINTS I’m afraid digital stabilization can only do do much. The gimbal has a range of movement that IBIS just cant match
@@psoon04286 I completely agree.
Its possible to use on vertical mode with a small cam?

nice review. I have an A7IV with 24mm GM. Do you think it will be able to balance this combination? Thank you

great review
Nice review with mentioning some features on it. We can easily take out for vlogging during the trip, matching compact and phone.
Truth spoken in your intro 😂😂
Great content, Love your stuff.
Thanks, you too! Next time we pass through CO, might have to send a few 🤘
@@CK3DPRINTS For sure, stay in touch, I would love that.

Cool to see Mount Vernon in a video! Hello from a fellow Ohio born photographer haha.
Haha right! This is the first time we visited that park. Such a cool spot! Ohio has some great places, but we try to run in the winter 😅
@@CK3DPRINTS 😂totally agree
Dear, is it possible to control the digital zoom of a Sony Alpha 6500 direct on the gimbal?
Not that I am aware of. You would likely need to check their website or message them. We don't have a 6500 here to test anymore.

I will check with my contact. It will hold the weight, but I don't know for sure on camera control.
Thanks for shasring. It's good to use.learn more in your video. Functionality is very full after exercise can relieve muscle soreness. Thanks again
And this is where all my plants came from. "Honey I need to buy a new drone!" 🤔
😬
I dont understand this kickstarter, means the pledge the im paying for the gimbal thats all is it? Or if im wrong kindly educate me thank you so much
Hey, no worries! Yes, in this case you are pre-ordering the gimbal. Some companies may be less reliable, but Feiyutech is a reputable brand.
Kool!!!
Thanks 😅 this was a fun video fo make

Nowadays we dont really use gimbal a lot..
Just shoot in 4k, stabilize in post. Deliver in 1080. Done.
Less gear, less worry.
its handy when shooting events n wedding..
Couldn’t be more wrong. Hope someone doesn’t accidentally hire you…
