13:27 What is the benefit? I like the idea of using the lightning port for a wireless transmitter. Why is this your preference? Looking for my first gimbal. Thanks for all the excellent videos. I subscribed.
If you mount the phone with the lenses down the rig is no longer top heavy, which means balancing is a lot easier and the gimbal motors have less work to do. This is especially obvious of you start adding lens adaptors and heavy filters because the add weight only to the lens section of the phone, which makes them top heavy. If you mount the phone the right way ip, depending on the payload or accessories you use, and because of its shape and form, the rig becomes very top heavy and hard or harder to balance. If your gimbal struggles to balance the phone with accessories, you might find that if you mount the gimbal with the lenses downward as I do, suddenly the gimbal will be able to balance. It’s all about weight distribution, really..

If I do a sponsored post I'd charge $300 because that's what I was offered in the past but for now I don't mind a free toy 🤣 but it wouldn't make sense for my channel I'm not a tech channel but if I'm able to utilize the behind the scenes or how I use my mobile phone to run my channel then it would make sense because I would want people who see the stuff I use and they know they can do it too. But as much as I'd like a free 5s id probably buy the plus+ u recommend for me and offer another video comparison so someone on a budget can get 90% of the best gimbal for less . The light is too harsh so I'd even buy the smooth 5 on sale 50% off on black Friday before ever buying the smooth 5s youre right.. it's about taking the responsibility that these people who watch you will buy what you recommend but it's up to you to be honest with your recommendation not because it was a free gift ☺️🎁💞 that's why I love your channel because companies would be pushing the weebil 3 and you offer the scorp 😍
Can you kindly do "hohem isteady v2 gimbal vs FeiyuTech g6 max gimbal" for phone please!! 🙏🙏
Thanks for chipping in. I’ll ser if I can fit it in my scheduled videos…. I can’t guarantee though… But food for thought…
@@SamuelSotiega thank you for considering.
Was that a review or a commercial?
Go figure! 🤔
Can you calibrate the gimbal without the App like most of the other functions you showed?
Absolutely!
@@SamuelSotiega Thank you Samuel, that is a huge plus.
@@donaldschaefer296 it is actually a really nice gimbal to use. And in terms of connecting to a camera, (as long as it is supported) it just works, which is a pleasant surprise…
@@SamuelSotiega as long as it is supported? does that mean only certain cameras will work? I already returned two gimbals because the app would not load all the functions on my phone including calibration. I will get a real camera at some point, but for now I have a middle of the road Samsung. Without any apps, can I use the middle of the pack phone with just the camera app and have all the functions I need including calibration on the handle? Thank you for your above reply Samuel, I am just trying to get out of this rut. It really looks like an awesome gimbal.
@@donaldschaefer296 i have not once used or needed to use the Feiyutech app. Everything can be done on the gimbal, as far as my needs go, which I don’t anticipate to be very different to anyone’s.
Hi!😁 I love your videos, always straight to the important informations. I have a big question, I’m quite sure that I want to buy this gimbal, but on that site that you linked in the description, it looks kind of dangerous to me, I saw in the reviews that somebody didn't get their stuff from the site. I don’t get this perk system there. If I choose one of them, is it sure that I will get my gimbal from the website? Or how is it working?
Thanks in advance for your answer, cheers👍😎
Feiyutech is a totally legit company. Rest assured you will get the gimbal and it is a really good one too! If you don’t get it, send me an email (details in my YT page) and I will contact their marketing and management as the link I put is the one they gave me!
Hi Samuel. I'm thinking to get a gimbal which is scorp c or scorp mini. Do you think this mini version can hold a Lumix G95 with 12-60mm? And also what the advantages of having that touchscreen on mini vs button only on the scorp c?
What is the exact model of your lens?

I DO TRAVEL VLOGGING AND DOCUMENTRIES , CONFUSED BETWEEN SCORP MINI AND RS3 MINI , ANY EXPERT ADVICE ? ALSO I WAS CURIOUS DO I HAVE TO REBALANCE THE GIMBAL EVERYTIME WITH SCORP MINI ?
Yes and now. You will need to rebalance the gimbal but if you bakanced it in the first place, the adjustments will be minimum, if any. I donl;t plan to buy a RS3 because to me it feel a bit to complicated. The scrorp mini is a great gimbal, that is all I can say and I will actually do another video with it on in the next week or two. But I canlt really give you any advajkce comparing it to the RS3 as I wonlt own a RS3... Sorry...
@@SamuelSotiega Thanks 😊 🙏 for this advice I'll just go with scorp mini & Also getting z30 🤍😊🤌

Hello! Which is better, scorp mini or moza aircross s?
what camera set up you plan to use?

@@ronaldgemmy please watch my recent video for the hohem MT2 and then let me know your thoughts.
Is this better than weebil 3 😮😊
What camera/s you plan to use?
@@SamuelSotiega eos m, And a cage and microphone maybe a monitor and heavy lens with adaptor but obviously you know I can get it down to 650g if I strip it down to pancake lenses but I was just curious 👀
I’d get an RS2 but man I do enjoy the look of this dual hand setup
It just seems life changing 😍🙏
@@SamuelSotiega in the future I plan on getting an R7 so significantly more weight but by then there will be a bigger toy to play with 🤣🙏
@@LouisLuzuka The weebil 3 is larger than the scorp mini. I have a M6 MK2 with a 16-32mm Canon M lens with ND filters and it works amazing, 100% compatible. I have never used a weebil 3 so I can;t really give you an informed opinion, other than the scrop mini feels very good. I imagine the weebil 3 will be for a higher payload cameras and it feels a bit silly to use it with a smartphone as it would be an overkill, whereas with the scrop mini you would be totally fine using a phone, if that is of any use to you... But for an M camera, I think either ione will be great, it comes downs to price, features and whetehr you need functionality with a smartohoine. Also, the weebil for larger so that also needs to be taken into account... I am sorry I canlt be more specific..
@@SamuelSotiega hmm 🤔 I never thought about how silly it would be with the smartphone maybe this would be perfect for me I also see the smooth 5 is on sale now lmao 🤣 because the 5s is here with that light that people say floods too much over exposed light so we’ll see but I’m pretty sold on this scorp I don’t use full frame so I’m okay 👍
Do you ever use sigma 16mm with canon m50?
I have g6 max, it will do but can't underslung because i have to place full back & make the VF hit the gimbal arm if i try to underslung..
Did scorp mini have longer arm & will solve it?
Can you give me the model of the lens you have?
Sigma 16mm
Great review! Not available in my country, the cheapest option for me is black friday deal from their official website which is $300. I need to figure it out if shipping is free or not 😅
Anyway, so if I understood you correctly, the touch screen operation is available for cameras only & not for the smartphone?
But it doesn't bother me that much. I also love that (as they clame) it was build especially for sony's 7 series, which I use 😅
You can still use the touch screen for many things when using a phone, just that there is different functionality when you attach a camera, for obvious reasons… it is a great gimbal. I have a link on the video description to the official page where you can buy it mow before it goes on general sale..
@@SamuelSotiega I'll check it out tomorrow and see how is with the shipping.
And if it will be too much, I was watching also a ronin sc. I'll see.
