On the app when you use the function to set different positions, can you also set the gimbal so it changes focus using the focus wheel for each position? Would be awesome for b-roll using manual lenses.
Can yours do vortex mode when you hold it torch wise? Mine doesnt even turn but it does turn when facing up.
Great review, I had no idea you also did gear reviews (I follow your guitar channel). I got this gimbal free for review and I really like it, I shoot professionally and the Weebil S was just a little big in some circumstances and this coupled with an M50 is awesome when you want to be a little less conspicuous. Great review.

is the record button on the gimbal connects via bluetooth? or cable?
It should work with Sony A7S and bigger mirrorless cameras as well, right? It was advertised on their site.

Really helpful review, thanks. I saw a Lumix S5 in the background. How does this gimbal work with the S5 and the 20-60 lens. Seems to be within the limit.
I haven't tried it but the body with one of their smaller primes or 20-60 should be fine weight wise.

There's no specific weight listed anywhere but I used it with my Sony FX3 and 24mm lens with success so it should be fine.
According to the manual the payload is 1200g.
Hi, i have a fuji XS10 and a tamron 17-70mm lens. its front heavy. do you think that would balance?
If it meets the weight requirements it should be fine. Check the weight of the rig.
Great instructional video. Is it too much gimbal for an iphone. If so, what would you recommend for a newbie.
Get a Falcam or Ulanzi phone gimbal. Those are great. Search on my channel for reviews on both. :)
How is this gimbal for lefties? Can you try using it, holding it, controlling it using its buttons with your left hand? Thanks!
I found the wheel gets in the way if you like to hold the gimbal with your left hand. I'm a lefty I mentioned it in the video a few times.
Hi! Great video! I just ordered one! You scared me at the end though about using it with big lenses. I have the Sigma 16mm, I guess it's mid-size and should be OK on the a6500. Hope so anyway! Thanks again for the great video
Weight the entire rig and see if it falls within the threshold. If it's close to it's maximum, maybe opt for a larger gimbal.

Interesting. Is this compatible with a Panasonic GH5 ? (GH4 and GH5s are listed in the kickstarter compatibility file), but nobody can apparently confirm for a GH5...
The GH5 will fit on this gimbal but you'll need to weigh the entire combo with the lens to make sure it's not too heavy.
Nice Review. It was really helpful for a first time gimbal user like me. Is there a way to charge the camera while using this scorp mini?
I can't remember if it has a USB power output on it. You might need to rig a battery bank or something to the back handle.
Is the Nikon Z30 compatible with the Scorp-C? (I hope) 🤞🏼
Check their website or the manual. I don't own any Nikon cameras. If it meets the weight requirement you should be fine.

Curious to know how it’s holding up after a years use?
It's still going strong. I've used it in a few videos over the last 12 months and it also survived a trip overseas and back.
The only negative I can see is, left handers are out of luck. They will hit the magic wheel. Next version should have an option to switch magic wheel to other side.
Hello, I was wondering if I could buy it off of you, if possible, only reason why I am going to such lengths is because I am a little worried about the third party website that FeiyuTech is selling their products from. The customers, including me, seem to be getting very slow responses as it pertains to feedback about our order progress, tracking, shipping, delivery, etc...And I know it'll take months to ship/deliver. so if its a possibility, I would love to see if I could buy yours from you? If not, that is fine as well, just weighing my options

if the camera and lens is under the weight requirement then it should be fine.
So this is not for DSLR cameras like canon eos 200D?
You'll need to check the weight of your camera rig. I found it worked best with smaller mirrorless cameras.
Good review, however I would have liked it if you had actually done some battery life tests rather than quoting the manufacturer's spiel.
Yeah like I’m going to leave a camera on a gimbal until the battery dies. No thanks. You can do that and damage your own gear.
