Actually, I had planned to finish this edit a few days earlier but now it is the 15th where I live, so... HBD to me, I guess. Spreading good vibes through editing Spuffy is actually my way to start celebrating this year.
I really wanted to make another AU with season 6 - like I did with season 4 and 5 after I cut all the scenes I needed. But I kinda lacked an idea for something greater and I've been obsessed with this song since I heard it a few weeks ago, so this is the result. It's so catchy and it embraces the "enemies to lovers" dynamic in a great way. Also, during season 6, as much as those two fought and did terrible things to each other, they hurt each other a lot through words and manipulations, too. Which makes this song even more fitting. (Still, I can't wait to get the season 7 scenes to watch them become healthy and tragic. And so I might finally edit other aspects of their relationship, if possible. There simply aren't enough relationships in fiction with a journey as epic as theirs.)

Wow! That was extremely intense! I can't even fathom how dynamic this video is. It is absolutely fantastic! I truly adore this video! And I have to be honest, I never told you that, because I thought, it was not a good idea to tell, but I never really thought, I'd ship them (maybe I did say that I would, because at some moments it seemed like it after some of your videos), but this video (definitely the best Spuffy edit, you've ever made) kind of convinced me about shipping them. I mean, I don't know for sure. You know, you can never be sure, until you actually watch a show, but this intensity is just incredible! This video was fire and their relationship also seems like it is fire. The reason I always thought I wouldn't ship them would be pretty hard to explain, I think the only 2 people, who would get it, would be my mother and sister, because only they know this about me, I mean, I tried to tell it to others, but they never actually got it, either ways, in this video, the fact that made me not ship them, didn't even really bother me, because of how passionate it was. It's a masterpiece! I could go on and on, but I don't think I can say anything new. Except that one of my fave moment was, when the song was like "Stop" and she said "Don't!" after he tried to say that he loves her (at least, he started it like "I love..." and she stopped him in that moment and it went soooo well with the song and this part. It's around 2:03 and that moment just stands out to me even more than the rest, which is also absolutely fantastic! And also, thank you for getting me know this song! I love the artist so much! (Don't know, if I can say her name or not in the comment, but I rather not). And I love a lot of songs of her, but I didn't yet know this one, so thank you for showing it to me. Now, I got a new song to listen to, and probably write to. (Maybe also make an edit with it, once, but it's really not sure, it's just a slight possibility as I don't have any idea yet + I can't make edits for a while for many reasons that would be hard to explain.)
Btw, just asking, did you see that I wrote a comment to your Kaz video? (Because you did not answer yet, or at least I didn't get notified, and it's not to hurry you, I'm just wondering wether you saw it or not. If you did, just ignore this part, and take your time. I also replied to our conversation under my video, but the same applies to it, plus I can't edit for a while, as I told you, so it isn't very urgent right now + I talked some stupid, nonsense stuff, that I kind of feel ashamed of. I mean... almost everything I wrote just comes off stupid.)

I'm also glad to read that the "Don't" works so well with the "stop" for you. Because back then they were still in such a deep phase of being enemies and Spike's confession was just so sudden and umexpected from Buffy's point that her shutting him up was just an understandable reaction. Sigh, they are so complicated. 🤣

Believe me, I miss editing them, too. But the last season just really drained my energy to edit with the fandom. But I'm still all in for J/A and I hopefully will at least continue the ffs I wrote (my life situation is finally calm again and so I hope inspiration strikes soon; also because I want to write for other fandoms, too, but I would like to finish what I started before as well). 🥰
