Tom broke two microphones will singing live! He's Welsh and said everyone sings like him....I wish I could hold a note lol....He's 82 yrs old now....Love his voice
Isn't Tom's voice wonderful? Isn't music wonderful? There's so much great talent out there, and I'm really enjoying watching the two of you discover and appreciate it. Rock on, dudes.
Tom Jones, what a fantastic voice and he still has this amazing voice at the age of 81 which is great. He had so many hits including It's Not Unusual, Delilah, and Green Green Grass of Home. The first one I remember is It's Not Unusual which is from 1965 and he was on Top of the Pops in the UK loads of times. He's a judge on the UK version of The Voice and I remember seeing him doing a couple of Jerry Lee Lewis rock and roll songs, Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On - it was fabulous! An absolutely brilliant singer - thanks so much for this reaction, guys, cheers.
My uncle was a musical savant and he idolized Jerry Lee Lewis. Our house was always rockin! He danced on that piano just like Jerry Lee. I had a couple of 45's from Tom Jones. I can't quite remember exactly what was on both sides except for It's not unusual.
Saw him 14 times in concert back in the day ... OMG that man could sing ... his dance moves were legendary ... and he wasn't hard to look at either !!!!
He is a judge on the UK show "The Voice ". I saw a clip of him singing on the show and he still had such a great voice!! I use to watch his show when I was a little girl. ♥️
There is a video of him singing this on the Voice UK with the son of the man who wrote this song. He was auditioning and when Tom heard his last name he asked if he was related. They sing it together. It is a great moment...and his voice is still this good.
That is exactly right because you, correctly, said that Lonnie did not write the song for him but, as we know, Sir Tom made it his own. The song was written 2 years b4 Tom was known outside Wales where he sang with The Tommy Scott Orchestra under his real name of Tom Woodward...
I was a teenager,when Tom broke,on the scene.His impact was phenomenal,down to his voice,his performances,and his character. He’s Sir Tom Jones,and a national treasure,in the U.K.
He put so much passion into his singing. He's still going strong at 80+. Wish you would react to another "passionate singer"-of more modern times. Home Free-Acapella group-Singer Austin Brown singing Percy Sledge's great hit-When A Man Loves A Woman-incredible talent!
How lucky I was to grow up with this incredible music, so wonderful seeing you both enjoying it too. Great choice , he really is an incredible musician.
The ladies would throw their undies on stage when in concert! He had the hip movement too! Saw him in concert and the ladies lined up for their undies toss! He cool'd when he got his TV show! ❤️
There's a fantastic video of Tom and Janis Joplin doing a song called Raise Your Hand. It was when Tom had his own weekly TV show and they are both having a great time singing their asses off!! Check it out, you'll love it!!
Wonderful Welsh Tom ! 🏴 Still going strong at 81+ .. my darling mum who was also Welsh passed away last month. 81 aswell, but she always loved Tom x
There's that passion you guys have for the music. In the '70s he got much more hip and dressed for the times. He grew his hair out and was quite loved by the ladies. I wasn't really sure you were going to like this one but I'm so glad you did!
I absolutely love Tom Jones' voice. He's a master at his craft. That he's in his 80s and still putting out music that goes to the top of the Billboard charts says something about his depth of talent. Great reaction. I hope you do more reactions to Tom. Try "Treat Her Right." It's a trip. Cheers.
Check out the clip of "the Voice UK" where Tom is a judge, and the son ofvthe guy who wrote this song ( Lonnie Donnegan) appears as a contestant and sings an impromptu version of this song, very emotional....keep up the Great reactions guys 👍👍👍
Tom is one of the greatest singers ever and this performance was magnificent. He's 82 or 83 and still performing. It's said he retained 90% of his singing voice
Tom sang this song with Peter Donegan on the Voice UK last year. Peter is the son of the man who wrote this song for Tom in the 60s. There is a video on you tube if you care to watch it.
He's known as Sir Tom Jones because the queen granted him a knighthood and it's now his title to use. Of course, he was knighted because he is a British music icon.
You NEED to hear him sing Delilah. Tom is pure emotion and talent. He cries with his voice like nobody else. Still sings beautifully. Voice like melted chocolate 🫕
REminds me of the time that I visited The Doctors and told him that on Monday I woke up in the middle of the night singing The Green Green Grass Of Home and on Tuesday the same thing happened but this time I awoke after singing Delilah and last night it was this song and he replied that I have " The Tom Jones Syndrome!"... I asked if this was common and he said .. "Will, It's Not Unusual"...
This song was written for Tom Jones by Lonnie Donegan. Lonnie's son Peter appears on the Voice UK last year singing "Broken Road". Tom turned around and eventually realized that Peter was Lonnie;s son - and THEY TOGETHER SANG THIS SONG !!! CHECK IT OUT!!!! Search Voice UK Donegan
I have seen Tom Jones 8xs in concert. He'll be 83 in June, and sounds a million time better than 99.9% of singers out there. If you ever get a chance to see him, do not miss him.
😀 Thank you! Always happy when one of your new reactions pops up in notifications! Yes, please check out more of his songs…he is a great talent! There’s so much true talent untapped yet! It’s a fun journey for us as you react to and appreciate the music, and it’s obviously fun for you two as well! Thanks again! 👏🤗💜
Another unbelievable voice to react to is Gabriel Henrique. He is a Brazilian singer who does covers of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. Amazing voice. He sings in English but is still learning the English language. It’s inconceivable that he doesn’t have an offer yet for a record contract ( not that I’m aware of) with the incredible vocal ability he possesses. Hope you check him out. .
Sir Tom Jones now 81 and still sounds much the same, at the time of recording this he was already married too his childhood sweetheart Lady Linda who passed away around 2016, if you look for him on his own channel or social media you'll find him singing this. I have pinged you some links to your private messages on instagram, on the 24th November it'll be 30 years since Freddie Mercury passed away
Hmm thought I already subscribed here. Now have anyway. lol About time you Lads got around to Mr Tom Jones. :D Queen on your T-Shirt my favourite band of all time!! Tom my favourite male solo singer to listen too.

Sir Tom Jones was once described by Elvis as his favourite singer and one of the greatest performers ever with the greatest voice, you don't get much higher praise than that, Elvis even tried to get them to do a duet with the Beatles as their backing band but it never happened unfortunately.
On the show (voice uk) he actually sang a duet with the son of the man who wrote the song Many women wanted to be with him, many men wanted to be him! Women in the audience, used to throw their underwear, and hotel keys on stage!
Tom Jones performed this live with a full orchestra. No auto tune, just pure talent.

Fortunately Tom is still alive but the other great most of them are gone
This was at a time when singers had to have talent, no gimmicks no autotune. He was married only once to love of his life 59 years .
Tom Jones is a phenomenal singer. I grew up listening to all of his music. My mom loved him ❤
I remember watching this live way back then. He is outstanding! Nothing compares now in the artist today. These were very talented Singers Then.!
Tom Jones has the most naturally powerful voice I've ever heard.
Yes, he could have kept us with Pavarotti.

Tom Jones, what a fantastic voice and he still has this amazing voice at the age of 81 which is great. He had so many hits including It's Not Unusual, Delilah, and Green Green Grass of Home. What's really amazing is that he was 27 in 1967. That's an amazing amount of skill to develop at such a young age!
Notice his right toes leave the floor when he hits the note at the end. Thank you for your REACTIONS and choice of music videos

Still has this Amazing Voice
Wonderful voice, beautiful song. Delilah is a great song too. Thanks 😘
She's A Lady is another banger by Tom Jones!
Today music is perfect because it’s overproduced but back then with no auto tune, singers had to achieve that perfection on their own.
He was always playing somewhere in Vegas back in the day.
What a voice Eh George? Still strong at 80...more Tom!!!!
I have seen Tom Jones 8xs in concert. He'll be 83 in June, and sounds a million time better than 99.9% of singers out there. If you ever get a chance to see him, do not miss him.
