So after his son died all alone in a hospital, the defendant decided to go on a road trip with his new girlfriend instead of grieving the loss of his little boy and facing the consequences. He gets stopped by four or more police cars. The new girlfriend gets searched by police. And this is somehow supposed to help his defence? For me it has proven his guilt even more.

Gregor shows absolutely ZERO EMOTION for his very recently deceased son - no emotion, voice doesn't crack as if holding back tears. Then he states to officer the past two years have been "interesting". That's the adjective he's going to use - "interesting"? ALSO... why isn't he getting a legal slap-on-wrist for witness tampering?? His prison call with his parents (after they testified) was recorded... his parents had to tell him to stop talking... and then had to hang-up on him to shut him up (he was telling his mom what she should say when it's her turn to testify). Seeing the Grandpa break down in the dock hit me, poor man, imagine having to face a child of your own doing that to your Grandson who they clearly loved. Yes, Grandma appeared a little cold but is she just being the practical mum and watching out for her boy, after all she did get him to return home. Think once he is committed then she will break, she is doing the mum thing of keeping it all inside, after all how many of us could cope with this situation?

The confusion in this case, was the mother did not have a lot of credibility because she was an addict. But being addicted does not make her a bad person, and she did not deserve to lose her little boy this way. It's heart-breaking that she tried so hard to get help and the police totally failed her.

I never took my daughters father to court for child support for this very reason. I knew he would try to get custody just to get out of paying. I was very blessed to have my family help early on. My daughter is now 19 and has only seen him at 5 months old.
I don’t blame the mom. She had no idea this monster would hurt her baby. I do wish she told the county that she didn’t know who the father was. Or that he died. She would of still received help. Poor baby. I feel so sad for those who loved him so much.
