The length of your intro should be criminal.. Thanks for sharing.

🤣🤣🤣
Brih you aint joking wtffffff. There is nothing more irritating than that
I hooked the same exact converter the same way you did and i kind of figured it would happen but when the music plays on one side on that particular track it does not send signal to my amp. So I don't know what you're doing where you got a signal from just one side of the speaker wires, but I guess you're a miracle worker.
Video starts at 1:40
Thanks for the vid!!! 👍
You didnt make it mono, you made it single channel, mono combines both speaker outputs into one, music doesnt always use both channels for low frequencies, thats why theres 2 sets of speaker wires
Question what would be the outcome of running it non mono. Will it affect the sound or cause any issues?
@@JP-Swag its the equivalent of listening to only 1 side of earphones. If the music were to fade left to right it would instead sound like the volume is going up and down. So it depends on the quality of the song, some songs balence instruments on both left and right but some songs put some intruments louder on one side and other instruments louder on the other side.
@@Extra_Mental Thank you for the knowledge! Will definitely be separating those wires myself now.
Hey man . Thanks for the video.
Question. When hooking up this loc to factory sub wiring to add after market sub will adjusting the factory sub level adjust aftermarket sub too ?? Like if i set factory sub at 50% will that cut the power to my amp for the other sub too ?? I will be using a bass knob to adjust the new amp and want to set factory sub lower than max so it doesnt distort when turning up volume. Please help ! Thanks !
I have a 2011 Buick Regal and I’m not sure which are my door speaker wires running on driver side door panel? and not sure where to tap into since I have no rear deck speakers.can you help me?
Can you help me figure out what wires to splice I got the same converter just don’t know what wires is for the sound if that makes sense
Thank you!!
Witch ones are right and left speaker positives and negatives?
Greetings, I want to install pioneer sea-835 tab in kia sorento sx 14 is the most complete integration system should I use to maintain the functions of the guide and navigation ???
So what are you using for your remote wire to tell the amp to come on when the key is turned
That's what I'm wondering
Because he fed into the speaker wire input. Most amplifiers almost all have a speaker input turn on. So it’s automatic as soon as input is sent to that speaker. I.e as soon as he plays anything through the radio.
Speaker signal power on
Have you used these on bose stereos to add a amp ?? Does it have to be tapped into the factory subwire ?
Yes we have used them and you don't necessarily have to connect it to the factory sub wire. It would just help if you have subwoofer control on the radio
What size t tap do you use ?
Older schools stereos used a direct ground from the body for one side of the speaker wire that's what the brown was for one brown fur right and one brown for left they both went to the exact same place inside the unit you have to have those for the antique stereos
The grey and green wires u tapped into are thos the speaker posi and neg?
Yes that is correct
I have an extra yellow one, a blue one for remote turn on and a ground . Do I need to use the yellow and blue one?
If you connect the yellow wire to power and the black wire to ground that will provide the remote turn on signal. You really don't need that expensive of a LOC unless you have no way to provide a remote wire? Honestly it's kind of double the price so it's wasting that if you don't use it but you don't have to use it if you don't want
Does the loc combination matter for subs that are 2 ohm or 4 ohm? I’ve seen some ppl wire positive and negative together.
No it will be the exact same you would wire up a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub at the actual sub itself
@@octanetvchannel oh ok, bc I’ve seen someone wire the loc wires negative/positive together making 2 end connections bc they have 2 4 ohm subs
I've got a question? I have New Mercedes-Benz and Don't wanna touch the the radio, Navi, lol on any other car I wouldn't care and have. But this car already has the Bsst 14 speaker Burmester Sound System, doesn't get much better. My worry is I've never tried one of these cheap boxes to tap into my my rear deck speakers, I mean how does one of these compare to using A nice Deck with RCa PREOUTS?
This is not a cheap box it’s actually one of the best in the market
And it will be best u tap into the factory sub on Benz for the line out converter
You can definitely buy a epicenter comes with a line out converter it’s called the mini epicenter newest one and it’s pretty bad ass
Does it matter if I tap in to left or right? The instructions on the adapter say one for left and one for right.
If you are doing a subwoofer no. If you are doing a highs amp for your speakers I would definitely do a left and right
Some reason am having hook up ground brown wire before it even comes on idk what happen to it
What are the black connectors on the green wires called?
3M t-taps
I have a 2012 Dodge Charger would this work. Can I just tap in into one rear speaker..
Yes
Anyone have a manual for the PAC Audio SNI-50A by chance? I can't find mine and I can't find it online anywhere so far.
I have a 2010 Hyundai Tucson where would I connect that too?
Great video, so where does the bass knob plug into , I'm lost
Ur amp has to have the option for bass knob unless you buy the new audio control epicenter w bass knob
What’s the difference in the sni 15 & the 35🤷🏽♂️ can someone please
Watt or power we always use 35
I tied into red and black and my sn-35 smoked
What did you tap into? Where are those wires located?
The door speaker
I thought you said sub. I'm trying to figure out where those green wires are. The back of the head unit? The only wire going to my amp as a blue wire
Connecting both positive and negative cables will make the impedance 8 Ohm, but the head unit works with 4 Ohm speakers. Will this not cause a problem for head unit?
Higher impedance on lower impedance head unit is not a problem just that the output will be 50% as its getting from 4 to 8 ohms.
Higher impedance unit with lower impedance speaker etc may blow up the head unit inbuilt amp as the resistance is higher
What about the remote wire tho?!
but where do I put my remote wire for my amplifier?
I'm using a factory radio and it probably does not have a remote wire connector ....
I didn't want to have to take apart my radio console and figure it out myself ....
but looks like I might...
of course
If you look in the description of our video it is underneath the video itself. There will be listings for multiple LOCs. One of them will have a remote output that does it internally from pac audio. Otherwise you can run it to the ignition source of your fuse box
Bro lol😂😂 you gotta hook up you whites to the left and the grays to the right! You only hook it to one side when that song plays on the opposite speaker it's not gonna send no signal to your amp! Definitely splice into your left and right speakers so your balance is proper!!!
If you were hooking up a subwoofer it is a mono signal. We've hooked up thousands and had zero issues. If you are hooking up a four-channel amplifier or four highs yes you will need to hook up the left and right.
@@octanetvchannel ok. I guess I don't understand. Maybe you can teach me something? I have my LOC on both back speakers left-+ and right-+ to my 1 ohm 1 channel mono block amp. If I only hook that up on the right side speaker. And that song happens to be playing bass on the left side i don't have it hooked up to. How is it going to push a signal?
So you can join both negative/positive and tap it into one wire ? Is it any different to tapping in 4 wires separately into the 4 wires from harness ? Also which wires did you tap into?
no man, he connected the 2 positive wires together and the 2 negative wires together, then spliced them into the pos and neg wires of the rear door speaker
@@00gr1ngo8 you don’t have to connect it to two speakers only one? Does it make a diffrent using 1 speaker
@@krodyssey4770 only if you shift the balance over to the opposite side. like if you tapped in to your rear right door speaker, and then shifted the balance all the way to the left, you'd get no sub. being how im in the driver seat, im prone to shifting it a click or two to the right, so its always kicking no matter what. ideally, its best to have a direct line to the head unit whenever possible
@@00gr1ngo8this comment just saved my life. I’ve been looking at different videos and everyone wires them different without much explanation, you managed to simplify it in one comment. Thank you
Well you didn’t explain much...finish the video!!!
Both Jack's are black?
So witch is hot and ground..?
Video didn't explain much🤦
Where do I plug up the remote wire to?
Any type of switched ignition in the vehicle
@octanetvchannel okay I found it , just getting alot of motor noise and I think my rca are bad it cuts signal of when I plug them up all the way in to the amp , but when they are bearly grabbing they give it signal to the speakers
It works with 100watts signal?
Yes
My ground wire is connected could that be why i get that humming engine noise?
You should not have to need the ground wire connected? I would highly recommend disconnecting that
Can someone for the love of Christ tell me how to put in a LOC on a 2014 Nissan maxima with a factory Bose amp? Every video is a different freaking answer contradicting the last one…please damn it thank you…I have a Rockford Fosgate powered sub
Do I need a LOC if I just want to replace my OEM speakers with aftermarket ones??
No you do not
@@octanetvchannel thank you 😊
You said you were going to show us why you don’t hook up the ground wire but you never did
You don't ever need to hook up the ground wire.
3 minutes and 28 seconds of into/outro for 2 minutes of actual content....
Head line should be.... How to install a LOC for a SUB.. Oh intro..... Will.... better not comment on that....
geez, 5 minute video and 2 minute intro and 2 minute outro...
Yeah it doesn't work getting sound out of my regular speakers but not my sub and my amps working I know my sub works because I tested it in the shed before I put it in the car wasted 3 days working on this build and a ton of money on it and I'm about to kick a hole in my jail audio because I'm tired of troubleshooting and chasing wire and taking my car apart and putting it back together I just wanted some bass and this is turning into it a money pit and a headache and nobody has videos that are actually useful on here it's a bunch of stuff that you would already know if You made it to the point of installing it into your vehicle like people just love making videos regurgitating the same basic knowledge over and over and over which I get it there's beginners that like need to know like which terminal to put your positive power wire in which one to put your signal wire in and simple shit like get your multimeter and see if you have output no dub bro. So with that doesn't resolve the issue then what do you do besides basic ass shit
Not informative👎
a minute thirty in and im still in this stupid intro...
Can you help me. DM on IG Please
