I struggle with an anxious reactive rescue pup like this. I have thought of rehoming her but am now attached so I'm learning to keep us both safe by adjusting my expectations, training and keeping her out of triggering situations.
I am getting my first slip lead today, I was taught yesterday how to properly use them in a figure of 8 and what an amazing relaxing walk I had with my pup. He is only 7 months old but has anxiety with loud cars as he was terrified by a grasscutter when he was only 15 weeks old. The slip lead is an amazing tool and I wish I was told about them alot sooner than I had been

Slip leads are a great tool and way underutilized.
