love this, thank you, I need a purpose to get me out of depression. I also want my daughter to see me work and provide rather than being a stay at home mom

Just a little reminder that being a stay at home mom IS working and IS providing. You're a cook, a maid, a teacher and a nurse all in one! But I completely understand the depression that can come with that. Never doubt how wonderful you are. Never doubt how much you're doing for your daughter by being home. I hope you've found something to help you out since you commented 🖤

I'm going to start with my Cricut Joy, I will do all I can and then move over to a Cricut Maker 3. Thank you so much for your videos on how to start out a business I have seen your other videos on how to start mentally and they have very very much motivated me to do this...💪

Thank you Amy for this very informative video. I'm just starting out. I didn't even consider that I needed a printer. I just brought my Cricut Maker 3 for $309.00 with a complete bundle package. I think my daughter said to use Priate Ship to ship things. My daughter designed a logo for me that is beautiful and created a site on Facebook for me to sell things. I haven't started yet, but can't wait! Thank you again!

Watching this I realized that I already have everything Ineed except for blank inventory and a bunch of vynil. My biggets problem is actually starting the business. The best advice for me was to start it as a hobby. I thin k that's all that I needed to hear.
    THANK YOU!

Thank you for sharing all this information. You are so genuine in telling us what it actually costs to go into business. I’m still on the fence if I want to do this. I don’t own a Cricut yet and am not sure which one would suit my needs. Please continue to give such informative videos.

Hi Amy, I would really be interested in learning more about shipping prices, how to create shipping labels and more! I'm in the researching phase before I launch my business, and I would LOVE if you posted a video regarding all things shipping! I've bee hearing a lot that free shipping is really encouraged on platforms like etsy, but a lot of these shops still charge a flat rate fee - which to me doesn't actually seem like free shipping, so it's leaving me a little confused about this topic. Some advise and tips would be SO appreciated! :)

Hi! I just recently found your channel and I love your content! ❤️
And I feel I found this at a good time. I’ve always knew in my heart since I got my cricut 3 years ago that I wanted to have a craft business. I kinda tried but didn’t put much effort because I wasn’t ready for it mentally. Too scary. But now, I’m glad I experimented so much over the years and learned a lot! I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I know my full time job isn’t what I want to do full time. There’s still so much I want to learn (like procreate) and experiment on what exactly I want to create fully but I have much more knowledge now than I did 3 years ago. After my wedding in a few short weeks I’ll have the time to really put in effort and learn to actually make it happen. My problem is I have too many ideas of what I can do and have to figure out what will work and what I will enjoy lol
Sorry I rambled a bit, but I really love your content and what you’re doing to help teach everyone! Your personality shines in your videos and really shows all the effort you put into your work to build your audience (:

You might also want to point out to folks that in many places what you are describing is a "home based business." As such, in the state I reside in, I have a state business license, a tax ID # (which I paid a tax preparer to do the paperwork on), city business license, and then there is the joy of all of the book keeping and extra costs involved with the filing of taxes. In some places, people might have to get a county license as well as a city one. Depending on where you live, the county / city licenses cost to apply for and to renew annually. I pay taxes annually on the equipment purchased for my small business. It is more than "just buy a cricut and some supplies and you're off to the races" - a lot more. For my home based business I had to not only pay an application fee to the city, but had to appear at a city council meeting and basically give a presentation / answer questions about my business. Doing it right is worth it, because it may save your butt from state / federal tax issues in the future.

Hi Teri! You are certainly right, there is a lot more that goes into having a business! This specific video was going over some basic costs - I have several other videos catering to the specific process I went through with registering, getting my tax ID, etc. and always mention to hire a professional since my process may be different due to living location, type of business, etc 😇

would you recommend getting the products to make stickers at home vs ordering stickers in bulk from a website? I want to start selling stickers and i'm not sure which option would be better.
