- It’s the dawn of a new era, as Red Bull enters WorldTour team ownership with Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe. The squad brings a new look to this year’s Tour de France, as they chase victory with team leader Primož Roglič. We entered the Red Bull hangar to build the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 of key lieutenant Jai Hindley. The RED AXS groupset gets custom touches to match the stunning frame, all expertly assembled by Thorsten Wilhelms from the SRAM Racing department.

Whenever you see someone with red bull helm you know that guy is a badass. Now there is a team with red bull bikes, hope they're just as badass aswell.
I'm wondering if they'll have a Red Bull helmet as there are other cyclists in the peloton who are sponsored by Red Bull (a.e. Wout van Aert).
Maybe not Primoz he could crash on a perfectly flat smooth wide open road with no obstacles 😂

Amazing bike build. I've been riding for the last 40 years, and it got me thinking how much more complex has bike tech become.......
Bicycle suppose to be simple. Now setting it up is like setting up an F1 car. More expensive, heavier and much more complex.

To give that impression they removed the images of the mechanic putting the brake cables inside the steering/stem/handlebar

If I ever happen to find $14,500 in the cracks of my sofa... Until then, I'll stick my current bike which is 1/10th the price. Still, I'm hyped for le tour.
It's £14,500 in the UK, that's $18317.
the sad part is there are people buying this bike and either 1) race it and will crash and will spend more money or 2) don't race it, but go nowhere near the bike's potential. Moral of the story, if you find this sort of cash in your couch put into your retirement fund and enjoy your current bike. The money is better in your pocket

I've almost exclusively used Sram throughout my cycling career... not only do their components perform great but they also look the best on the bike in my opinion. This build's the epitome of cycling tech in both appearance and performance. Beautiful.

how many time needs a world tour mech to mount a bike?
It only makes sense to have Pogacar. Verstappen, Gu, Arnold, Neymar, Carlson and Pidcock. Exciting stars with immense talent. I feel that Pogacar is comparable to Verstappen and he should join the RB family
So weird that a world tour mechanic doesn’t know how to use a torque wrench with a crow’s foot properly or cut hydraulic hoses with the correct tool!! Truly astounding.

Bought one of these in the UK been riding it since mid July its a 52cm never had a Tarmac or Sram Red and had lots of top end builds but this thing smokes them all, never ridden anything like it, it does everything you want it to as well as looking the dogs bollocks, the quality of the frame paint is nothing like i have seen i had the bike shop change the bar combo for a 90mm stem as it came with 100mm at no extra cost as well

Beautiful bike. Doesn't Red Bull kind of embrace the whole "performance enhancing" culture? Can a rider get kicked out of le Tour for drinking too much Red Bull? Maybe a big pharmaceutical company could sponsor a team in 2025. Bring back the alcohol and cigarette sponsors too, like the old days. You know, before they started testing so much, nobody was cheating, much.

I'm a Specialized fan and user in Thailand. For this model that sponsored by Red Bull, We will not buy or support this model that shown Red Bull on a frame because of the owner of Red Bull's family member (Boss Vorayuth Yoovidhya) in Thailand did a terrible thing by driving a Ferrari hit a police to death then he leaved the country.

Dear bora, time to get a decent team leader. Primoz is a favourite of mine but his days are done for grand tours. One week races...yes. remco or del torro could be future champions. You already have great domestiques but not taking kamna and martinez to the tdf was a massive mistake.
Installed the compression plug too low and in the wrong orientation. The stem clamp bolts align with the arrow on the red compression expander plug 🤦♂️

Beautiful bike and nice video. From a technical aspect i did notice that the rear tyre was originally mounted backwards. But in the final part of the video was correct. Also no use of derailleur hanger alignment tool which is very key to perfect shifting.
