Great review as usual It is indeed smart to choose a universal mounting and not be tied to a brand-bound mounting! This way you give after market a chance to survive and innovate. Suppose Bowtech, hoyt or PSE release a top bow next season, then you only have to buy the bow and build everything over!
Just got my Epsilon mounted this week. I really like it so far. I think Hamskea did a great job. It will be interesting to see how many bow manufacturers switch over to the new Hamskea integrated style holes on the riser.
@rich Jones I just picked up the V3X 33. With the new low pro detachable quiver. Did you use the universal mount like in the video or Mathews integrated mount? Do you get arrow contact with the rest ?
I used the universal mount as I have an Obsession turmoil. Matthews bows need to use the specific non integrated mount. As for arrow contact, I have not had any signs of that, although I did have to readjust the limb cable after the first week due to initial stretching.
@@Briguy933 there is when you're a 31" draw. At 78# it shoots a 530gr arrow 290fps... Stable as hell. I have an Atlas from last year which is 35" ATA but the V3X has an inch longer riser even though it's 33 ATA
Gonna give this rest a shot. Looks great. Quick question: Noticing the Bee Real Ultraview grip on your V3X 33. The honeycomb color matches the bow finish....don't see that one on their website. Did you paint it up yourself? Thanks
I have the Trinity, fantastic rest. My question is: the screws in the blade are still able to rust in matter of weeks? They should spen a few pennies more in them using einther stainless or titanium ones. A couple of screws won't break the bank...
@@caninphx I'm sure that would work. The question is why I should have to do that after paying ~200 € for their top of the line arrow rest. I'm pretty sure a couple of stainless screws would cost them a few cents, so why aren't being replaced when a well known piece which can be improved in quality at minimum cost?
Do you feel the Mathews V3x is more stable than the Hoyt rx7 ultra? I bought a Ventum pro 30 and liked it in the store but when I got it home and put it up against my halon, the halon was much more stable. So I sold the Ventum and am debating on the v3x 33 or the Hoyt ultra.
So talked to one my shop owner and he knows one of the owners of hamskea and I was going to run my epsilon attach to the split cable he told me the arrow is supported longer when you attach it to the limb 3/4 of the way to the axle so right behind the x on the limb
What´s the depth of this rest? I mean behind the riser. I hardly can find limb driven rests that fit my PSE Xpedite because there is only 1 3/8 - 1 1/2" room between the riser and the cables. And thanks for the great review!!! You´re doing a great job!
Awesome, info just got mine in and installed i ran into the same issue. With the launcher spring tension. Shootin bullets with 585 gr arrows and my 490 are .5-1in high tear. And I makes my upward adjustment and still getting it so I think thats my issue. I hope.
Has anyone had any excessive noise issues with the epsilon I’ve tightend one screw on it about 3 times now and it last for about a week or two then back to rattling like crazy.
I just picked up the original Trinity hunter for my vertix and I think I will tie it to the yolk too. Have you noticed any issues tying it in that way? Seems a bit cleaner and less prone to get caught on stuff
Great review as usual ...you said your front bar is 15 inches how long is your back bar? Just wondering cause I'm going to a 15 inch front bar this year but I'm not sure what I'm going with out back..
Is the launcher material prone to grooving like the Trinity? I had about 200 shots through my Trinity and an asymmetrical groove developed. Switched to the G-Flex launcher and have had no issues.
Believe the launcher is metal on the epsilon. With a rubber coating. That being saidy launcher on my Trinity has a decent groove as well. Seems to have stopped now that the groove is the arrow. I purchased a few so I can switch them out every 4-6 months.
Will the mathews mount fit older bows? I got a Reezen 6.5, lancaster told me yes, then hamskea drops a video a day ago saying 2020 & newer, the Reezen is 2009

I'm trying to save for the V3X but then this thing comes out! So slick
there is nothing fancy or extravagant about the v3x.
