Extreme Outfitters opened its doors just outside the main gates of Camp Lejeune North Carolina in 2001 as a hybrid store combining cutting edge tactical gear and high performance outdoor equipment.
First and foremost, I love the content you guys put out.. second of all I’ve been shooting a long time and I think to each is their own but all of the drop away rest make the most sense to me, but if I had any suggestion to anyone, it would be a micro drop away for the simple fact when it comes to tuning your arrows and making incremental adjustments when it comes to getting your broadheads to fly exactly like your field tips sometimes it’s very very small adjustments without the micro adjustments. It’s really hard to do without it. I have found some even the tiniest adjustments can go too far out of whack, but having the ability to make small clicks, make things more simple
Need to have JR to do a video on how he ties his nock sets in detail
Somewhere in the box that my record ratchet came in, it said that it had anti bounce technology in it, built-in it was also one of the few reasons I bought it besides adjustability and honestly, it looks like the best all around as far as everything from all the worlds of drop away. Whale tail spell micro adjust. IMS, attachment, limb, driven, and and so on, so many features, so nice soot's freaking spectacular
Love to know why the rests tuned do differently
I’ve owned hamskea rest and ripcord code red currently running a ripcord code red on my bowtech ss34 love it no complaints on eiether rest
So they both have worked well for me but I’d say the ratchet is quite a bit lighter than the epsilon. Personally I prefer the ratchet. Easy to adjust in all ways, easier than the epsilon. They both were equally accurate for me.
Bowtech has the best tuning system! I will keep my deadlock system, don’t need a press are shims.
Dartons new system is likely the best system out there now
How so bowtechs pretty simple
Nothing like more moving parts to break and come loose
Need a press to put it back in time though 😝
Not the new ones with time lock. I still think dartons is easier and less to go wrong. Time will tell though. Both awesome bows one will fell better than the other depending on person go shoot one and buy one.
You guys should make a short with all the basics and information and then people could watch the longform video if they're interested.
Test the Hamskea against the Trophy Taker Smackdown Pro Fall Away. $119.00 Bass Pro
Very relatable arrow rest and great value for money
What is that arrow level you are using? Im trying to get a little setup in my home to work on my own bows.
One thing I have noticed recently is that the launchers have come not straight and need to check to see if that is something you ran into.
I prefer the newer vapor trails. To me they definitely have the easiest cord mounting. And are just plain simple to use.
They say that the epsilon could be limb or cable driven. However I've never seen anybody run it cable driven. Why is that?
Good stuff, but couldn't help feel the tension.
Yeah I thought I was crazy.
Why can’t hamskea use ims.? You should be addressing that in your video. If they let ripcord. Hamskea should be allowed. Ty for the content
Why are you shimming both top and bottom at the same time instead of swapping one, seeing what it does, then swap the other? Top will have more of an effect than the bottom. Also, why so far back from the paper? the arrow has time to stabilize by then instead of seeing the power stroke as it comes off the string.
I find it a little odd to credit how easy a rest tunes while shimming the bow. I wouldn't need micro adjust if I thought of my rest as 'set and forget'.
14:45 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Why didn’t you run the epsilon through the cable?
Because it's a limb driven rest, not a cable driven rest.
@ wrong it’s both bud
You're right, with a different spring it could, but why would you?
@ some else to get caught on hiking in the woods for 1 just my opinion. Threw the cable I feel is more consistent lifting an dropping the rest but that’s my opinion shorter line less issues getting it bumped off the limb spot
Had both… ripcord is the better option for hunting
Any bow over 700 dollars that needs shims is trash! With the tech nowadays.
I’ll tell you this, you spend 5 minutes mounting up a Vaportrail, you won’t even look at these other rests.
