Hi dr lesly. Thank you for your research update. I have one thought that i would love you to comment. In a nutshell: after seeing prof Ben bikman classes on his UA-cam channel insulin iq, where he affirms lipedema is not a fat tissue disease, but possibly a connective tissue one where fibroblasto convert to myifibroblast that produce a more fibrotic colagen. This mechanim, triggered by local, and the important word is local, excess production of estrogen by those fat cells. Then he talks about aromatase transforming testosterone to estrogen, de beta1-something 😅 enzime aromatase inhibitors etc. And then, long story short, i saw some articles on how tamoxifeno reduces keloid scars - the fibrotic colagen - in women after surgery for breast câncer. And then i looked for the similar effects of castor oil patches on locally reducing information and Scar tissue. Does it make any sense to you?
Mmh... To be honest, I used to do those types of exercise but had to stop due to inflammation and lipedema as a whole. 🤔 They just have me walk nowadays.
