I've been using my Aomway Cloverleaf antenna for a LONG time but am curious about the new Pagoda antenna that have been cropping up recently. When I saw that Banggood was stocking some now I needed to try it. Compared to the Aomway in my test I would say there was a slight improvement at 25mw. I feel like they actually made more of a different at the higher output but I didn't have the range to test them out further in my area. I'll be doing more testing of them but for now wanted to make sure they were not a downgrade from what I was using.

These actually did better than my eachine k-loverleaf 6 lobe through floors and walls. But havent tried range test.
Thanks for the review!
Farvew carries one for the tiny whoops. You should do a review and take weights and dimensions!!!
+TransAm2k4 I'm going to have to get a better scale. :-). I tried weighing these and my scale isn't good enough to do it. :-)
I'm pretty sure they are the normal pagodas just with out a connector and stubby... So using one of their kits I think you could do the same thing.... Not really sure though.
DaRoach5882 the pcb are the same but they are much shorter and welded so no connectoe. Interested to see how they hold up in a tiny whoop
+TransAm2k4 I haven't seen a tiny whoop with a Pagoda yet. Have you?
DroneRacer101 not in person but here farvew.com/pagoda-omni/42-pagoda-2-omni-antenna-rhcp.html?search_query=Tiny&results=1
Yo if i have RHCP on one side of my goggles, do i upgrade the other side of goggles to LHCP? Or do i need 2 of the same? Please help.
You want them to match what you have on your drone. So all rhcp or all lhcp.
@@SimRacer101 tyvm sir
The antenna is sma male or rp-sma male? Can I choose what I want?
got mine on order
Dam that house!!!! tho
The measurements of my realacc pagoda are really bad. The distance of the pcbs have a tolerance of 0.1mm and my Pagoda is 0.5mm out of tolerance and the pcbs are not parallel. You can't just bend them to be prarllel because the solderpads tear off.
Besides of that Realacc uses a 0.8mm pcb instead of 1mm.
The measurements are very important for a good reach so a correct build Pagoda should be way better than a realacc Pagoda.
I think they are just like the honey drops... Poorly produced vs companies like FarVew or Luminier...
I built some kits that farvew.com sells and with the jig they were spot on and only $8.00 shipped but now they have them on sale for like $6 something.
Thanks for mentioning this, I hadn't noticed this when I did my own testing, the PCBs are indeed 0.8mm. That explains why the resonant frequency was 6 GHz instead of 5.8 GHz. The inconsistent PCB spacing doesn't help either. It probably affects the axial ratio as well.
+Maarten Baert Are you sure you are qualified to check this? Oh wait. ;-)
I have 2, and I'm not impressed!!! What does work for me is a pagoda on my goggles and a simple dipole on kwad!!!
Connect one to a 3000milliwatt transmitter then go behind the house. Hehe
