This is a great video, thank you for sharing. I've got my base up and putting together my frame right now. One thing I don't quite understand is the attaching of frame to base - I know there are the clips but one of the diagrams in the instructions seems to show self tapping screws as well...
Hi Matt thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the delay I have been on holiday! From memory there are clips that hook under the lip on the base then fix to the greenhouse frame with a bolt. I guess that you could fix it with self tapping screws though.

glad you got sorted they are a little confusing. Yes the ground spikes are not needed if going onto concrete pad. Some bases come with short corners but I have seen kits that need you to cut the ground spikes to length wit a hacksaw.
Very helpful. What do you do if you want to mount it directly onto tiles with screws into the tiles but the teresse isn't level? How do you then level it before screwing it to the tiles?
Thanks for watching. In answer to your question there are only two options. One is to re lay the paving level. Or you can pack the base to make it level with packers. It all depends how far out of level the paving is. A slight fall in level is not necessarily a bad thing. I hope this helps and good luck with the project.
Home-made Laparoscopy I did this 4 years ago but it all depends on what you are fixing to, I.e concrete pad or paving slabs etc. I would suggest to use a no 10 screw 50mm long and suitable rawlplug
I'm pretty sure it's alloy. Not steel. But not really important. Lol I'm just trying to fix together the Altan 62 Halls Wall mounted greenhouse. It's a nightmare. Just can not see how some of the structure fits together. I'm trying to find a video how to assemble it.
Have you brought it new? can you not go back to the manufacturers? There should be instructions. This was a steel base with simple corner brackets so easy to put together. Hope you get it sorted.
@@SpencerCollection yes I bought it brand new on line. The installation are rubbish and very difficult to understand. It's the top front corners that I can't work out.. And on the 2 roof struts they bolt to the back strut but no way to fix them to the front strut. Thanks for messaging back. 👍

made my base out of 40mm scrap shs welded it together welded 6 legs for concrete worked out well.
Sounds like a good idea Alan if you have the facilities of a welder. Thanks for the input

What size of rawlplug and what kind of screw did you use for securing the base to the ground?
