I’m going to try to transcribe this build over to ASA. Obviously there are some aspects that won’t work but I think I can find a way to make it work. Can’t wait to see more vids with ASA
A yuty egg farm is definitely on the list of builds to do for ASA
So it transitioned rly well. Instead of 5 high pillars needs to be 4

I can't even begin to tell you that this is exactly what I was looking for, a space efficient yuty egg farm. It's hard to believe you can fit a dozen behemoth yutys in there. Thank you for this. I built this up on primitive, it's quite wonderful with all my Yuty Beauties gazing out the "Windows". I also learned some new technique with the top window wall/railing garnishes which is always a bonus. Keep up the good work, you earned a new subscribe on this building alone..
Also, I noticed a few comments about why not use ramps, I want to say thank you for not using ramps, it much more aesthetically pleasing without them, especially when it's not a necessity to have the eggs fall down. It works perfect as is and stylish to boot.

For ascended players: place pillars 4 high instead of 5 since they are higher than in ASE and the whole build is the same from there.
Only difference is on the pillars

@@bondless5443 instead of those you can use sideways wood pillars and to place the gates you have to get on top of the pillars since it wont snap to them
Im standing on them but they wont snap
On my first one it did snap now i somezimes can place them up there but it looks so ugly
I found so the Solution, where the triangles are we suppose to Build the pillars ( next where the doors should snap) just pick the pillars up or dont build them and Place a dino doorframe After That they should snap. I was Like why did it snap in the first one but Not in the other once and thats how it works

Today I remembered why I don't do any D.I.Y around the house...started to build this, but from the start put the first gate on the normal foundations not on a side with triangles. Details are important :D

As a suggestion you could add ramps above that the eggs would roll down into the center.

I'm trying to build this, but once I get to the columns, started having horrible issues with not being able to snap the columns in the right place. I'm sure it has to do with the different mods (SS in this case). Apparently the triangle foundations cause havoc - removing all the triangle pieces from around something helps a bit, but doesn't always work. They often go somewhere else, even though the green outline stays in the proper spot. I had similar issues with a different building plan that uses triangles.
Yeah if you are using the ss mod I think I've heard something about issues with the triangle pieces
dude that was badass, I was building something similar, but this is way better. One question though, why not use ramps or slopped cielings as the second part of the floor so the eggs roll down to the floor?
Thanks. I didn't use them because the eggs drop down anyways and the ramps make the bottom floor crowded. I did use that technique on this Deinonychus egg farm for people who play Valguero though ua-cam.com/video/9mjGrio-pWI/v-deo.html

I know this question has nothing to do with this video, the thing is i love how you do your vid's so here is the question.
In the Carpentry workbench CKF the Triangle foundations Right and Left have you been able to build a circle just like we would with the primal triangles? For the life of me I cannot.

So I tested it out, you can fit them but it is a much tighter fit lol.
Can I build this near my base? I have been seeing posts about it having to be outside render distance of your house for them to lay their eggs
It's always been my understanding that dinos only lay eggs when they are within render distance. So you would actually wanna build this in your base. They might have changed that and I just missed it. But I've definitely never heard of it needing to be built out of render distance.
5.50 mine doesnt give me the option to add the second fence foundation on top of the wall. Let me to the other one but not letting me do the other, any idea why
That is very strange, I am playing on official settings so there shouldn't be any reason why it won't place. However you actually only need one fence foundation to place the gate on top. I only placed two so that it had both of the legs sticking down in the middle.
@@CHipZz yeah didnt work but as you said didnt affect the build, however, my hatchframe wont place correct and ladder wont go in the right place.
What is the purpose of changing the foundation to blocks? So that nothing falls through? I don't play much ark
It's just cosmetic. Makes the outside of the foundation match the stone walls pattern.
I do have question, as to where you put the male Yuty in this?
Do I need all those stone walls or can I use large stone walls instead
You should be able to use them for spots where I place 4 stone walls.

I wish to do this build in metal and tek. What should i put in tek and metal?
I would maybe do tek for the walls, window frames, gateframes, and gate. Then use metal for the pillars, railings, catwalks, ceilings, and stairs. Maybe play around with different combinations on your single player in creative mode before you build it on a server.

I’m not able to snap the wooden fence foundation on the outside of the triangle foundations for the entry. Any ideas?
Can you comment a time stamp of the part that's giving you issues? So I can make sure I know what part it is.

@@rjmac5105 That is strange, have you tried getting it to place from different angles? Or maybe see if it will snap to the other triangle foundation? Sometimes the triangle pieces do things that make no sense.
@@CHipZz I’m able to place it manually without a snap but the gate won’t snap to that. I’ll try rebuilding it and I’ll get back to you
Honestly I'm dumbfounded on why it's not working. There shouldn't be anything that prevents snapping a fence foundation to a foundation.
just red, black, and white or some of the fancy colors ?

Would adding male yutis increase egg production?
I'm pretty sure more males don't increase regular egg production. But I also did an updated egg farm with the Deinonychus if you have Valguero. That egg farm produces way more eggs.

You can keep one male in any of the spots. It should reach all females.

Fence foundation support won’t snap to foundation and there is no catwalk
Okay so reading your third comment now it is clear that you are on ASA and that would be why those things are not working for you. Unfortunately this build will not work exactly the same in ASA as it did when I made it for ASE.
@@CHipZz Lol I meant to delete the others, im sorry! And thank you for the quick response. I did find an alternative and it seems to be working! Thanks for the build. Instead of catwalks a fence foundation I flipped a pillar into a beam and the placed stone gateways atop those. After some messing with placement it works!

Which gender should they be? All female or one male rest female?
One male and the rest female is the way to go
There is no catwalk
This build is from 2 years ago and for ASE. If you are thinking it's for ASA or trying to use it in ASA then yeah it won't work exactly the same. But someone in the comments has listed out how to use it in ASA with some changes.
