This tutorial is amazing, I'm on CI and am kind of trapped there and have been for months because I can't afford to buy the expansions at the moment. But someone was kind enough to give me a breeding pair of Deinos which I bred to the point I have like 20 and the bob lookin box hatchery I had was NOT cutting it xD This tutorial not only showed me perfectly how to build this in great detail, it also MOST IMPORTANTLY taught me MANY tricks I can apply to new builds I've had in mind but wasn't sure how to go about it. Thank you soooo much!!

@@CHipZz I will admit I'm certain I slightly misaligned something towards the early stages of the build but it didn't become noticeable until I was doing the bloody roof xD So instead of leavin it ugly (and I was NOT tearing it down) I put taxidermy bases with some of my favorite deinos posed on top to cover a few cracks XDD My dumbness, and noviceness at building, not an issue with yer tutorial. Everything went exactly as it was supposed to until the end >.< haha oh well it still works though!

@@CHipZz I will be trying yer giant cryopod next but im trapped on CI xD so getting enough element is gonna be tricky but I have two little gachas that someone gave me when I finally reached tek. So I think I'll stick them in it ^.^ Keep up the amazing work! I'll be lookin at other builds too, and once im more confident maybe put my own spins on things too!

I built this and so far I like it didn’t have many problems little expensive but other that that it’s great
Thanks, glad you enjoy it! It is a little expensive but one option is to go with something else other than metal. It's not necessary if the build is safely protected inside of your base.

So HUGE problem with this build... I am overrun with eggs and can't keep up! Seriously awesome build. I do warn console players though, this thing lags bad.
Hahaha yeah you will definitely have more eggs than you can use. I would recommend turning off breeding whenever you are not using it.
@@CHipZz how do you turn it off?
@@rat160 easiest way is to turn off breeding on the males since there aren't as many in the farm. Then turn the males back on breeding when you need eggs again.
just disable mating for 1 deinon and copy settings to nearby deinons :">
I can't place fence foundations on triangle foundations. Anyone have this issue??

I get stuck when I need to place a fence foundation on the front side of the trap door ceiling. I can place the fence foundation but the piller wont find the snap point on the corner.

Ahhh can't place two ceiling pieces at the top says need foundation support 😭
Ummm that shouldn't be possible lol. If you used foundations on the bottom they should easily cover that gap at the top. You can try to fill in that hole I left on the ground level with triangle foundations and see if that fixes it.
Figured it out, had to use pillers and ceilings because ground was uneven, just added another pillar placed the ceilings and removed the extra pillar. It is working amazingly now with 64 deinys. Thank you!!

On the second set of ramps that circle the center I have one ramp thst refuses to place, the others are in the inside snap point. Any ideas?
Is it appearing red like it is blocked? Or is it green and just not placing when you hit the button?
Just tested this build. Eggs get stuck on ramps when placed this way. You will need to have ramps that don't have other ramps crossing into other ramps for the eggs to drop properly.
I built this farm many many times using this tutorial and when you do it the exact way he does there is no issue as long as you back up your deinos enough to make the eggs fall right
Does the egg farm need to be over a deino nest?
Nah you just put tamed Deinos in it
Next time start from the center of the build, would make more sense 😉
Maybe it's just the way my brain works but for me it's actually easier to make the outer ring first and then fill it in lol

Am i missing something? I cant snap the roof ramp funnel in the middle, i dont know if the version patched it but do i need a certain angle to snap it? Im on official server
Also my ramp always places to the side if that helps
Update: I fixed the ceiling to put the slopes but i cant make it face over the my way. Did try pressing Q but i dont know if it really is about the angle or not if so do tell me
My eggs dont work I did wood ramps tho cause we going for a certain look but im switching to metal ramps
Interesting, let me know if switching to metal fixes it. I've never had issues getting the eggs to fall.
@@CHipZz switching did nothing im on the new map don't know if that's an issue.Some fall and some don't trying to fix it.Should they sit on roof and hang over ramp or on ramp.
Still awesome build and keeps people out I changed it up a lil to keep the pesky trolls out
You want there butts at least a little bit over the ramps so that when they drop the eggs they are falling onto the ramps. If you are still having issues you can try backing them up further over the ramp or even onto the ramps. But if some are dropping and some are not it might have to do with server ping and all that too.

Am I the only one having an absolutely horrible time trying to get the fence foundations to snap?
Yea I can get them to snap on the square foundations but not the triangle ones
is there anyway to do it with out having so many male deino? gonna try for mutations and I don't wanna have that many males
This build was intended as an egg farm solely for producing eggs to make kibble. You could remove a few males and just try getting the females in a little tighter. Definitely do a test run with creative mode first.

@@CHipZz not that you would care but I figure out if you put a pillar right in the center, like dead center in the hole in the floor and put 5-6 piller you can get one male fitting perfectly on the top of the pillar and he will breed how ever many females you have. So far only works for two levels but to me that is plenty! Thanks again for the build video

Yeah of course! Should work with any material you wanna use.

Make sure you have them set to mating. You could also add more levels to the tower to fit more Deinonychus.
@@CHipZz my eggs seem to stop coming all the way down, some get cought floating in the air or on the bottom edge of the ramps. Any fixes for this?
Its bigger than a cliff platform?
I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head but I think it's smaller than a cliff platform.

im having issues around 9:16 the pillars won't sit at the corner but only the middle
Same. Did you ever figure it out. I can get the wooden fence foundation to snap but one pillar won’t snap to the corner

Maybe its because of the amount of lag on my server
I tested it on my server and single player and it worked. Might need to back them up a little more onto the ramps.
@@CHipZz doesnt really work, even if its straight down, sometimes they just stop in mid air. *just wildcard things*
@@CHipZz I built this on Crystal & it works perfectly. Built it on Fjordur & almost none of the eggs roll down the ramps. Typical Ark, lol.
same problem, about to pick the ramps up and let them float, cant get them any further down the ramp, and still wont fall down
How well is this for keeping out pesky nosy players? Lol (aslong as everything is locked, obviously.)
If you're worried about other players you would just need to throw up some more railings in each of the open areas

Hi dose anyone know what is the exact point of this? Like can I use this egg to make any kibble for any Dino great video btw also how long dose it take for the egg to spoil while on the ground?
Hey there, the Deinonychus egg is used to make extraordinary kibble which can be used to tame almost everything.. the fertilized eggs also last for 24hrs on the ground from when they were laid.

You could probably try squeezing a few more in. Ideally you want them in breeding range though so you can also get those fertilized eggs.

For sure make sure you put a feeding trough or two down lol. An Oviraptor would for sure help as well!
Deinos dont laugh eggs passively, an oviraptor is useless. You have to use fertilised eggs
@@sherbzillagaming4713 Deinos lay regular raptor egg too. Anyway, oviraptor is used to reduce reproduction cd so u can lay more fertilised eggs

Can you really get away with this on pve servers honestly? Can a parasuar detect them inside the build? And tips on defence?
If you play on a server where you are worried about people stealing I would just put some railings or maybe greenhouse walls in the open gaps to keep people out.
I know this comment is late but I added a generator room with turrets on top of the build.
