I just built this base but with out the two side doors. I find it adds the necessary space to keep it functional while having extra industrial items ex (grill and grinder) love the content man!
I love ❤️ it...you can do different small creatures on each level and turn on the level of critters you want to collect. That is for breeding of course.

Really like this build, decided to give it a try. Looks really cool, but since there are no dino gates, it takes too much work to get the gathered materials from the dinos to the vaults... Maybe i'll try one of your egg farm builds and turn it into a workshop :)

Thank you, apparently you need to be looking at it somewhat from above. Use a tame that you can stand on the back of or build some scaffolding using thatch. Hope that helps.
Chips i am building this currently and the only part i cant place 8s the center ceiling on the foundation as it says structure limit reached 42/40. Any way to work around this but 8t should be on as the forge will cover it so tbh its not a big deal and ty for the build and detailed guide.
A structure limit for placing ceilings? I have never heard of a 40 structure limit for ceilings lol. But your right, you don't absolutely need that one. Thank you for the kind words!

Do you know of any issue caused by uneven terrain? My last few inner pillars (3:50 area) seem unable to snap, and I'm wondering if it's because the fence foundations on that side don't reach the ground.
Yeah if your foundation is too high from or too low to the ground it can sometimes make pillars not wanna snap. Best to have a good flat spot at least for the starting foundation.
I’m on official pve, followed each step and hit a structure cap of 42, won’t let me add the central piece of the stone ceilings. Any known work around to this ?

Can you please help me? So I built your hatchery from 4months ago and I built in the chalk hills on valguero where the temperature isn't even the littlest but cold or hot and for some reason deinonychus say too cold so what do I do??
Struggling with the fence foundation part I think because I tried using my trike that didn't really work and the only flyer I have is my pteranodon and I can't really stand up on him as his back is kind of slanted so yeah I don't know what to do
Yeah you need to be able to have a slight overhead view. Honestly I would think your trike would be high enough, but if not you would maybe have to build like thatch scaffolding to stand on.
@@CHipZz I did work on one fence foundation but I'm not sure if it'll work for the rest. basically I just ended up standing on the platform and I moved the view around until it actually allowed aligned with the foundation of the roof and then I just looked down so it immediately went to the same place as the alignment of the roof. Dude I'm just placing two walls to see how it would look and if it would work properly and it actually did at least for that one section quite nicely. I am now trying to figure out what I should do for the rest. Thing on my PS4 and unfortunately it just doesn't snap in very well otherwise I think it would be easier lol.
I finally figured it out it took me really long time because the snap points didn't snap in naturally so I had to like keep moving around on my trike in order to find the correct way to do it. I have gotten to the last snap point it's not exactly working properly but I'll figure it out
@@airbear8240 Glad to hear you got it mostly working. Yeah snap points can be a real pain sometimes and there unfortunately is not much you can do about it. Hopefully the building in Ark 2 is much improved.
Well for some reason and I don’t know why the last foundation Wingstop in properly or the last two wouldn’t stop in properly and so I managed to get them to a position that I liked but for some reason and thank God it’s at the back of the base which is kind of up against the cliff so I don’t have to see it um they were only stopped in backwards and not with a solid rock but with sir the brown post facing out. Also I think the most satisfaction I get out of this game is him the building and the forging because honestly the further I go out the side my face the more I’m likely to die lol I was on my raft and I went down a river and I ended up getting attacked by an alpha raptor that killed me so I respond and went back and by the time I went that he’d completely destroyed my taming raft and then killed me again so I’m back for third time this time I brought my level 24 trike and my level 74 pteranodon thinking that at least the two of them would have a chance to defeat him so I can get past him know he killed both of them😢😂

It's not really because of creative mode. Layering stuff in front of each other is always tricky. Just have to be very careful to make sure you have the right snap points.
Yes I have my server set all to official settings for building. Pillars can be a bit tricky at times just mess around and make sure you are getting the right snap point.
I keep trying the wooden hexagon with the fence foundations but every time I place the ceilings and the foundation and remove the ceilings the fence foundation breaks can somebody help please
Sounds like you are placing the ceilings in the wrong spot. Make sure where your two ceilings meet is on the line that separates the triangle foundations. Does that makes sense?
I still have problems with the door frames over the windows, I do everything right but they will only snap without breaking the glass backwards and that’s it, help lol
Yeah I'll admit placing doorframes in front of greenhouse walls can be a pain. If you can, try placing them from different angles. If it still will not work maybe try using a double doorframe instead, should still have a pretty nice look.
Hi I’m in the process of building your round building but I ran into a snag when I try to lay down the stone fence foundation it will not snap at all no matter which direction I’m facing to lay it down. I know you are in fly mode don’t know if that makes a difference being that you’re up facing down. Maybe you know how I can do it from ground level. Thanks
@@CHipZz in the very beginning. You lay the six triangle foundations then the two ceiling tiles, after that you place the very first fence foundation, then remove the first ceiling tile, but when you remove the second it destroys the fence foundation.
@@CHipZz I'm sorry I keep trying this repeatedly and it snaps in the center perfectly. As soon as I remove the second tile it destroys the fence foundation. I don't know maybe you're using some sort of mod or you're on a PC I'm on a PS4. This isn't working.

yea no. None of these building tutorials work on console. I don't know why but you can't remove the ceiling tiles without destroying the fence foundation inbetween.
I did the building tutorial on official settings and on an Xbox server.. not to mention plenty of console players have already built this. So yes it does work on console. Make sure you are placing the ceilings in the correct spots on top of the triangle foundations.

Ahhh honestly that is a good point I didn't really consider. But yeah the egg farms would make a good shop
Just put window walls where you put the vaults and leave to window slot open. Can transfer through the window :)

If you build this on official servers the middle is over cap just remove wood fence foundations after you put in stone ceilings
What do you mean it's over cap? This tutorial is built using official settings so there should be no issues building it on official servers.

My issue is the wooden pillars didn’t come out at the same height. Make sure to build on the flattest ground possible and the proper snapping points.

I'm trying to learn this build and I know this is old but I can't seem to snap the stone foundations under the thatch roof
You probably need to be looking at it from an angle where you are above the roof. Try standing on the back of a tame.

Nevermind, I ended up getting it. HOpped on a snow owl (landed) and was able to get it.

I was wondering, could you not make a circle base with just using Triangle Foundations?
You sorta can but it's not actually a perfect circle.. Using this method gets you an actually rounded circle.

Yeah of course! The only part you need to do the same is using thatch ceilings to place other stuff.
I couldn't snap 3more fence on that thing so it didn't work for me.And I also destroyd my base just to build this and it didn't work for me...

Best way to do it from ground is just to get on the back of a tame. Then you should have enough of an above view for it to work.

Lord. You people need to invest in s plus mod or ss mod. Considering 90% of the player base plays unofficial. All this is so unessesary
