ARK Egg Farm: 1 Minute vs 10 Minutes vs 1 Hour

- In this video I will be attempting to build an Egg Farm in ARK: Survival Ascended.. But with a twist. I will be building three separate farms, one in just one minute, then in ten minutes, and finally in one hour. I’ve got 26 direwolves at my broodmother base that I need to figure out a pen for. Would love one of these challenges for that build. Keep it up!!

I ❤ your builds. I use them all the time in my single player game! I like that use 3 different types with diff build times. What I tend to do is start with the simplest and work my way up as I progress through the game.

Woo fresh take on the modular build is always fun 😊 relearning that the dino gateway is 3 walls tall is the bane of my existence, and skinny stone pillars
Haha yeah, you also can't do the trick where you put a fence foundation on top of a wall to place another dinosaur gateway. So had to make some changes.
@@CHipZz really? Oh, boo. They make such good window frames! I've done overlapping wooden dino gateways, filled the bottoming with quarter walls with the rest of the height on alternating wooden railings; upright /flip /upright /flip to fill it out so knew quarter walls and ceiling tiles are very picky with what works

Great video, id love to see a video of some building ideas you like to use. Like using pillars to border walls. What materials go well together etc. Would be a really useful video to check on every now and again while planning builds.

I thought the ten minute build would be the hour build (that’s how long it takes me in game at any rate). And don’t worry Evolved, I may watch Ascended videos, but I’ll never play it or leave you.
Definitely helps being in creative mode for the challenge lol.
that was ten mins over speed up footage it took longer then 10mins to build
@@Jcd88 huh? The ten minute build is only ten minutes of building. I sped up both the footage and the clock counting down the time.
@@CHipZz ill have to watch again it looked like clock was moving normal speed either way it looks good

hey man love it. I was wondering if hespi farms are viable in asa, and if so what would be an ideal design
I'm assuming you would be farming them for organic poly? You could do it with a pretty small build, but I think the penguins would be more suitable for it.
@CHipZz I actually meant for golden eggs. I thought of making a big water pen with like 4 hespis on aggressive with an oviraptor watching oi auto pick up eggs. Is it even viable or is that dumb

How to turn off structures collisions?
Before loading your world go to "Game Rules" -> "Structure" and turn "Disable Structure Placement Collision" to ON

I wonder if you just freestyle these builds or sum bc every time i try to build anything remotely nice i give up halfway knowing it wont work out the way i had envisioned
It's a little bit of both tbh. I usually find a reference photo on google or pintrest and then just sorta build off of what I am looking at.

Show me how you build a nice egg farm without using cheat codes. I have found that the joy of any game dies shortly after crossing the cheat threshold.
By cheat code do you mean creative mode? That is only for the sake of the video, this could easily be built in survival mode
Too bad UA-cam stopped pushing normal tutorials. I guess this speed build is your compromise between new builds and viewership 😢
Not really the case tbh.. Just trying to come up with some new ideas for content on the channel. This is a pretty popular trend on Minecraft so figured I would see if it can be translated to Ark. Still working on normal build tutorials as well they just take longer to record/edit.
