    This looked veeery attractive until you got to power limit for external module. Feels like they should’ve built in a better bec or at the very least provided on in the external module addon kit.

      Same question - is this the Jumper T-Lite power delivery issue or the way TBS nano works? I've set TBS nano power in my X-Lite to 500mW or something, but the range is quite bad even in LOS, just a kilometer before i get signal issues. Do I need to power it externally on X-Lite too?

    • @KremerFPV
      @KremerFPV  3 роки тому

      Janis I am not aware of X-Lite issues with the CRSF Nano. Is dynamic power turned on by any chance?
      I think that production was delayed and then they didn't have enough time to fix this issue before releasing it. I hope that it will be fixed though on the next batch.

      @Moody fpv I think if you need full power you're probably better off with a full size Jumper or Radiomaster, and it sucks down the radio battery anyway. Be nice though, maybe it could be modded for 2S..

    • @maceliusfpv370
      @maceliusfpv370 3 роки тому

      @Moody fpv Ditto on the smaller ff T16, though I haven't had to mess with the ribbons yet I did do the internal charging mod. I guess it can kind of suck to have to mess with it to get exactly what you want, but hey, that's part of the hobby.

    If "Jumper" made this radio on 2S (2x18650) inside the holders on the sides, it would be the best budget solution! This would solve many problems with powering external modules, etc. And all that was needed was to change the shape of the plastic of the handles on the sides! Thanks for detailed review !

    An interesting piece of hardware, unfortunately Jumper as always can not do what it promised, people are waiting for their pre-orders from last year, the power supply circuit is bad - there is not enough power for CRSF (this problem is actively discussed on forums), the brightness is regulated only by changing resistors.

    It doesn't control all!
    - crossfire is gimped to 25mW(after being told it was already gimped to 100mW)
    - r9m initially marketed as supported, but no uart, so its not.
    And there solution for crossfire is not to fix the powersupply issues internally, but to hang a 2s battery off an additional purchased adapter. Which also could allow fornthe module to lose power before the radio without warning!

    • @KremerFPV
      @KremerFPV  3 роки тому

      @@KremerFPV Atleast they never marketed for pre orders that it controlled the AC.
      If it was marketed as it actually is, then fine. The remote itself is pretty nice in my opinion, even with its current actual feature set.

      Hi, it has a USB-C port which is used for connecting the T-Lite to a computer for using it with flight simulators and for charging the 18650 battery. Using a bluetooth dongle is not possible. You can use this device for wirelessly controlling flight simulators: ua-cam.com/video/VPnA3lIM6bg/v-deo.html

    It is immediately clear that the reviewer is working off the money that Jumper gave him. 25 mW for an external module. With such power, Jumper has no right to declare support for external modules, it's just ridiculous. When you connect an external power supply, you will not be able to monitor the level of this battery and it is extremely dangerous both for you and for those around you. The reviewer did not even mention this. As well as the fact that the favorite R9m modules are not supported. It's just a shame. Gal has done a great job at reviewing the product and giving us his valuable evaluation on the functionality.
      It us a known fact that reviewers do receive samples for review which they can keep or give away. Although at times they use money from their channel to do buy a product for review.

      @@kafie1980 The mention of 25 MW on the external module is misleading users, because at such a power it is impossible to ensure stable control under normal conditions. Connecting an external power supply without a mechanism for its control is actually a threat to others. Are you encouraging all of this or are you just not being able to comprehend what I wrote?
      Jumper tricked its pre-order buyers by promising normal power and support for everything including the R9m. This is also not a word in the review.
