Yes more Qud! At a fire you can prepare your meat. Prepared food does not weigh anything. I think you outscaled the Snapjaws by now :D The world is HUGE and randomly generated. The biom type is regulating the difficulty of encounters (marsh/canyon/deserts/flowers/jungle/etc). You can find all kinds of things randomly and the world extends at least 50 levels down. If you want to rely less on luck, try exploring the named places and historic sites.
Folding chairs are fodder for bits (crafting material for tinkering. Check the relevant skill tree). Press 5 on numpad to pat out fire, usually takes a few turns (watch your temperature in upper left). Fresh foods need to be preserved first.
@@BenoutofContext They also give a +2 to identifying artifacts when sitting in them as well as 10% increased healing regen... I just disassemble them for tinkering bits though. You can pretty much equip anything in your hands to smack anything you like. Haven't come across any wrestling rings though...

@@Jayy997 Seriously?! You get a bonus by sitting and thinking? That's amazing 😆
@@BenoutofContext There’s also a telescopic monocle you can find that gives +5 to identifying artifacts. So you can sit and monocle
@Jayy997 I'll be the fanciest 4 armed mutant this side of the stilt!
