I only hope that you all continue to heal and that your warm happy memories keep him alive inside your hearts, just like the many videos you've made with him over the years.
It was so sad to see you cry 😢 I am sure Phil is in heaven and will watch over you all. He will be looking down loving you for the amazing kindness you showed him here on earth. And for loving him more than yourselves and letting him go to heaven to be at peace. ❤❤
Phil was a wonderful dog. Thank you for sharing him with us. He brought so much joy and happiness to the world. He made us laugh and he cheered us up when we were having down days. I loved watching all of your videos of him and the other dogs and cats. We will never forget the legacy left by Phil. Rest in Peace Phil. We love him so much. We will miss him.
My first memory of Phil was the video you did of him called Giant Dog Refusing To Take Bath. Watching Phil trying trying to outsmart Shane to avoid that bath was what endeared me to him. Phil was so big, fluffy, beautiful, and full of personality that I had to keep watching. Years later, when I saw the thumb of that video...When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, I cried with you and prayed blessings for your family because I felt and understood your grief. I'm sure you know that you are blessed to have such a wonderful family, including all these amazing animals. People will come and go, and they do change up on you over time... But, your dog is always happy to see you, always by your side, always on your side. Sad, but that's not a statement one can make about most people one knows. Thyroid disease and inherited polyneuropathy are very common in Phil's breed. The first condition is treatable, but the second one is not. Sadly, unethical veterinarians all know this, but they will keep taking your money and misdirecting you anyway. Long ago, when you first mentioned Phil's symptoms I tried to post this but there were always so many comments on your videos that mine probably got buried. All dog breeds have certain health susceptibilities especially once they get past a certain age. You did the right thing to avoid putting Phil under anesthesia for high-risk surgical procedures. These are expensive and guarantee nothing. If it ever comes down to quality of life issues from old age and/or disease, the right and ethical choice is always to show them love and allow them to enter peacefully into rest without suffering. There are no words that will make you feel better about losing Phil, and time won't make the memory of him fade away. Some things are simply forever. You gave Phil an amazing life, and he knew it. You were a part of him, and he is always going to be a part of you. Some people never get to experience love and affection at this level. It is a beautiful thing!
What lovely words. I lost my first dog, a gorgeous fawn chow chow aged only 6 to stomach cancer. She died just 3 months after my mum died when I was 16. It was unbelievably heartbreaking. I always wanted another chow but I worked strange hours, often had to travel and couldn't rely on anyone else to look after it in the daytime. 45 years later, now retired, I've adopted a mini cavapoo and she has got my heart. She has alot of health issues being born without a tail, a malformed spine amongst them but she is on good pain meds. She is just the friendliest little dog, always greets humans like they are her best friends, she is a joy to be with. She is not just a dog to me but my little companion, my loyal friend. I swear she can understand everything I say to her, even my mates say she is like a mini me in a furry body😂. I loved watching Phil and his family during the dark days of covid and bingewatched as many episodes as I could. Don't have as much time nowadays having my own little fluff so try and catch up when I can. To me dogs are an important part of my life and if anyone doesn't want to see me because of her then unfortunately for them, she will always take priority.
That's the one that I saw with my mom. She isn't an animal lover but Phil made her laugh. I'll never forget how she laughed. My Phil we love you and we miss you. ♥
It's a decision every pet owners have had to make,He was something special and loved by fans all over..You made the right decision as heartbreaking as it is.. Forever a puppy in the heavens 🐕😭x
Phil was your first dog when you moved in together. Isn't it? Indeed, he went through all these years with you, participated in all the important events in your life, gave you his love and kindness, and was your faithful friend. It’s very hard when everything around reminds you of him. You’ve lived so much together with Phil. My cat Peach died 18 years ago, and every time I look at his portrait, I remember so many joyful days and one of the hardest ones when my beloved cat passed away. Dear Matthews, hold on! From heaven Phil will be always happy for his mom and dad, sisters and brothers whom he loved so much. RIP old boy, love you 🩶
Phil was old before his time, but that time was spent with wonderful humans. He is telling all the beloved pets across the Rainbow Bridge you were the best. Our pets rely on us to make that decision to put an end to an existence that is simply that...an existence with no genuine joy due to ill health.
Phil had a long, beautiful life, and it was all thanks to you and your family. Thank you for taking such good care of him up until his final moments, and thank you for sharing him with the world. I will never forget Philly Bear, he was so special and so loved. Best dog in the world. ETA: Okay, I started crying when you talked about Teddy stepping into Phil's spot as the howler. Good boy, Teddy. 😢❤
You owe no explanation to anyone. You have done the absolutely right thing for Phil. I follow numerous animals of all types on You Tube. But Phil was so special. You could not help but smile when you saw him. Even seeing that printed pillow behind you brought back good feelings. I am sure so many have shed an ocean of tears. But Phil is not gone. That is the beauty of all the work you have done over the years. You will miss his physical presence but he will never really be gone from your lives.
Emma, please don't feel that you need to explain to any of us why or how your decision was made. It was an act of kindness and love and true compassion. Phil lived a magical life and we all celebrate him. Your grief is great cuz the bond was so strong and meaningful in your life. Shed your tears and give your hearts time to mend. Thank you for sharing Phil with all of us. Bless your heart....
I'm so very sorry about Phil. He was such a wonderful and very good boy. Every time I saw him, I was reminded of my Malamute, Little Wolf, who died in 2009. When they die, part of our heart goes with them, and true love is forever. I hope Phil and Little Wolf are running in the heavens together, howling at the Moon. Thinking of you and your family, wishing you solace and peace 🙏🏻🥀🐾💔🐾🥀🙏🏻
Thank you for talking about it. We're all just right here. I figured that Milo would be the most upset. And you and Amelia. You've done an excellent job all of the way around. Niko and Teddy might be waiting for him to come back. It never stops. His nails clicking on the floor. Oh just let your heart remember. There's no reason why we lose our dreams. He'll always be there in your heart. The jewelry is a great idea.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing that beautiful, Philip, with us - he always brightened my day! I just love his CUTE face - hopefully, in Heaven, he'll never have to take a bath - lol❤

Remember me, don't let it make you cry. 😢
For even if I'm far away, I hold you in my heart ❤️
I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart. 💔
Remember me though I have to travel far.
Remember me each time you hear a sad guitar 🎸
Know that I'm with you the only way that I can be
Until you're in my arms again.
Remember Me."
💕

Grief is the price you pay for love and Phil was so loved by u and ur family and us ....
There are no words to make things feel better or easier. But know that there are people who feel the same in one way or another, as I am one of them. Dogs are more than just pets .... they are family!
🙏🏼 🐶 ❤
Absolutely!🐾💞 Well said.
Well Said
Our dogs are like our children. It hurts when they leave us. He was my favorite youtube dog. RIP Big Phil. We'll never forget you.

I only hope that you all continue to heal and that your warm happy memories keep him alive inside your hearts, just like the many videos you've made with him over the years.
It was so sad to see you cry 😢 I am sure Phil is in heaven and will watch over you all. He will be looking down loving you for the amazing kindness
you showed him here on earth. And for loving him more than yourselves and letting him go to heaven to be at peace. ❤❤
You and your family did everything that you could to give Phil his best life. Thank you for sharing the good Life with Malamutes with us!!
He had an amazing life and a family who adored him❤ You are an amazing family God bless you all 💕🙏xxxx
You've made me cry 😥🙈😭😭😭 God Bless You 🤲🏻❤
RIP to king Phil 👑
It's a decision every pet owners have had to make,He was something special and loved by fans all over..You made the right decision as heartbreaking as it is.. Forever a puppy in the heavens 🐕😭x
Miss you Phil so much you brightened my day ❤ thank you again for sharing Phil with us
Phil was so very special, he was the best bear doggy ever. We will never forget him.
RIP old boy, love you 🩶
Cried through all of this along with Emma-Leigh. Phil was the best boy ever, and we will always adore him.
PhillyBear will always be in our hearts... Miss you my good boi!!!
Phil was old before his time, but that time was spent with wonderful humans. He is telling all the beloved pets across the Rainbow Bridge you were the best. Our pets rely on us to make that decision to put an end to an existence that is simply that...an existence with no genuine joy due to ill health.
Rip Emperor Phil of all Malamutes. The goodest of boys. Godspeed 🫡
If you see them, say hi to Peanut and Pippin for me.
Beautiful comments.😢
@@cq9882 Thanks. 👍
He will be missed, he was such a lovely and good bot. May he rest in peace.
Sherpa had a similar issue not being able to walk and liver issues. They were both wonderful dogs. RIP Phil and Sherpa.
I follow this channel because of Phil such a beautiful dog and beautiful personally. Phil was a Blessing.
The pretty beautiful 🐕 doggie Phil, run and be free now your up there with my Son . ❤️ you both!! Your free and no pain. Take care!
Thank you for sharing of your loss pf Phil. He was precious. Just take care of yourselves. You are a lovely family. God bless from New Zealand.
Philly Bear, missed across the world. 🙏🏼🐾🐾🌈🌁🙏🏼💛🇨🇦💛
Thinking of you and your family, wishing you solace and peace
🙏🏻🥀🐾💔🐾🥀🙏🏻
Phil.. Even though i don't watch your videos regularly , i always used to check periodically for phil.. Loved him... Love all of them... But Phil was always special. You gave him the best life possible ❤️🙏
In a Discord server I manage, it has a Soundboard audio clip of Phil's signature "Woof!" from his most viral video. There's a lot of joy that simple "woof" brings.
Phil will live on in our hearts.❤
Phil had the most wonderful life. You did him proud to his last breath. Expect to be bowled over when you meet up again at the Rainbow Bridge. Run free Phil.
I saw the video where you guys are at the vets putting him to sleep and i could tell Phil was thanking you guys for the incredible/awesome and comfortable life you guys gave him. Im sure he was pleased that you guys were there by his side during his last moments here on earth. RIP philly bear. i live in california and he alwasy put a smile on my face.
We miss Phil so much ❤ Thankyou Emma and Shane for sharing Phil, who gave us so much happyness and joy for eleven years. May he rest in eternal peace🕊
Hi Emma, please take all your time to heal. Me and my mom started following your videos since the beginning of COVID starting with Phil’s bath videos❤, my mom wasn’t a dog lover but she fell in love with Phil after all the videos and since then we got hooked to your channel. Phil has the most amazing personality, has always been a security blanket to everyone, he is an angel dog❤ he was so loved by the world. We love your family, and we are all here for you.

Pease and love to you and yours ❤️🙏❤️
Sorry for your lost. Phil was so special. And incredible dog. I'll love him forever.
Greetings from Spain.
I am a lifelong dog owner, but more importantly, a lifelong dog lover. My deepest sympathies for the loss of Phil. Find comfort in the many fond memories you have of Phil. When I heard of Phil’s passing,I have to admit I even started crying. Ripley is our fourth dog and every time their time comes to leave us, it is a terrible time. Ripley is a 12 year old Golden Retriever who was born with several medical issues, but we loved her and enjoyed every second of her time with us. Take care and love your pets. They are family. R.I.P. Phil.❤️
Phil was a very handsom boy I know how much he is missed as I lost my budgie 6 days ago and miss her so much. You never forget your pets whatever pet you have rip Phil and my mindy. I understand that empty feeling
Emma, your ability to re-live all of this to explain to us is….i don’t even know how you did this.
You’re an amazing mom, for all you babies.
