She must have been starved - remember, she looked normal - because that very night she thanked us by having SIX kittens! We had her in our back room so our other cats wouldn't bother her. I went in and saw two teensy rear legs and a tiny tail! I helped - he was stuck so long his sister was born along with him! The others were timed better. What a night!

In modern days more Asians in Asia are more open to domesticated animals as pets. It’s a cultural concept because some Asians in the United States keep house pets. I care about my cat more than my white family members who, without my knowledge or consent, threw my cat, who they gifted to me, out into the frigid to die after I moved and they were supposed to rehome her. Plenty of white people do very awful things to animals.

Одна живет со мной, а вторая, к сожалению от меня сбежала, я в частном доме живу, она, видимо, под забором пролезла и ушла! Ну что ж, теперь она уже не забеременеет и надеюсь, проживет ту жизнь, которую захочет, и возможно ещё встретит хороших людей, с которыми ей будет комфортно

yeah, as someone who used to be a certified veterinary techinican i was kind of shocked when one of the medical staff said "she may just be fat" .... just like in humans, animals also display fat ALL over the body whenever they gain weight naturally. that's why fat cats have such big faces - this cat is noticeably skinny all around her neck and legs.

lol easier said than done. It used to be I could get a voucher from Popco for each baby . These days females are 250 and males are 135. This discount place is booked for four months in advance at 75 per cat. Edit: opps my bad If they can afford an ultrasound they can have the kittens fixed. But most people can't.
I have an orange female, she was a kitten when dad found her and brought her home and for a few months we thought it's a boy until it became clear shes a girl and a very sweet one too 🥹🫶🏼
Yep! This is because the genes for fur color are on the x chromosome. A female cat is capable of having many different fur colors, but in order to be completely orange she'd need to have all her genes agreeing to make her fur orange or else she'd be calico instead. Very recessive! Much easier for male cats to be orange since they have one X chromosome and so have fewer color genes, but because of that, they also can't be calico without some type of chromosome mixup. So a calico male, and an orange female, are both extremely rare.

They do not have the capacity to be kind to animals in that part of the world.
I got worried the cat has ascites from kidney and liver failure, that could have meanth death.
I couldn’t imagine that cat not being pregnant would allow for her to walk 😢

I’m very happy she was rescued and treated so well . As a cat owner, all I can say is these people who rescued her are my hero’s . I m sure both cat mom and kittens will (or might have already found their new forever home best of luck to all ❤️🐈⬛

Thanks for rescuing the mother and letting her give birth in a safe environment. It’s obvious she was somebody’s pet at one time because she’s super friendly. Here’s hoping mom and the babies are all spayed/neutered and find great, loving homes!

That first vet was so wrong that she appeared ridiculous and uneducated. IM glad that the rescuer decided to wait for natural birth.

In the U.S. veterinarians tend to push unnecessary procedures for money, just like doctors. I didn't realize it was like this across the world. Shame on them!
yeah, as someone who used to be a certified veterinary techinican i was kind of shocked when one of the medical staff said "she may just be fat" .... just like in humans, animals also display fat ALL over the body whenever they gain weight naturally. that's why fat cats have such big faces - this cat is noticeably skinny all around her neck and legs.

This discount place is booked for four months in advance at 75 per cat. Edit: opps my bad If they can afford an ultrasound they can have the kittens fixed. But most people can't.

I have an orange female, she was a kitten when dad found her and brought her home and for a few months we thought it's a boy until it became clear shes a girl and a very sweet one too 🥹🫶🏼

Yep! This is because the genes for fur color are on the x chromosome. A female cat is capable of having many different fur colors, but in order to be completely orange she'd need to have all her genes agreeing to make her fur orange or else she'd be calico instead. Very recessive! Much easier for male cats to be orange since they have one X chromosome and so have fewer color genes, but because of that, they also can't be calico without some type of chromosome mixup.
So a calico male, and an orange female, are both extremely rare.
