History and the other subjects are different because you present content that doesn’t need to be cognitively processed and understood. Math also builds every year so you need to get it. ELA is similar but they don’t necessarily need to finish the whole curriculum and there is usually less of it.

Ok so my American History teacher in 8th grade made us watch Napoleon Dynamite like 3 times. By the last time, admin had gotten on to teachers about showing movies just for fun so he assigned us a compare/contrast paper between Napoleon Dynamite and Napoleon Bonaparte. You might be thinking he was a sad Millennial reliving his glory days, but no. This was like the year that movie came out so he was a sad baby boomer and I’m the sad millennial. And this was by no means the least educational class I had that year.

In my government class that became financial literacy in the second half of the year played a movie of an entrepreneur dad becoming homeless with his son after his girlfriend checks out because she couldn't take a never improving life since his invention failed. It follows the journey and difficultly, as well as managing to claw their way into a better situation. Edit: government and financial literacy was the next step of US history

We just play uno for 90% of class now

They literally made us take a test in algebra on the last Wednesday of school I failed and the teacher said i couldnt redo it during study hall even though i hadnt redon anything all semester and i failed the stupid grading period because of that one stupid test
