@@alansimon1354 Seems all the other commenters agree with me but seems we should all agree with you, i wonder why iv'e never heard of any of your musical genius arsewipe.
Dude, that guitar player did a GREAT job at keeping with the spirit of Hackett's original guitar solo while still keeping some of Daryl's cool flourishes. That was really impressive.
Einfach super gut 👍
Wow, that was like listening to a German Peter Gabriel sing Dance on a Volcano! All of these guys are pretty good musicians, but seriously that drummer is ON POINT!
Great band!! They all sound amazing!!! Very impressed with the drumming. It seems the drum pattern He uses for the lamb is different from the other video which is titled Old Medley. I prefer that pattern. Other than that I love his drumming, very concise and clean. They are both great drummers!! 👏🎶
I have no idea who you are, or where you’re from, but I do know that you’re seriously cheering up an old man who was so excited by Genesis and their ‘70s gigs so much, they were, along with LED Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd the anthem of my teenage years. Tonight you brought all that back again, the musicianship was excellent and the spirit in which you played and sang was really heart warming. I’d love to watch you live one day. Good luck to you all and thank you....Alan in North Wales
German band who i believe did this Concert for their Thesis at University. All gone their own way now, some carving out sucessful careers in the Music Industry..... shame really as i reckon they would have been one of the greatest Genesis tribute bands Worldwide.
Die beste Genesis Cover-Band, die ich je gehört habe, und ich habe sie heute erst kennengelernt.Einfach Wahnsinn, was die für Gefühle bei mir als großen Genesis-Fan erzeugen, Gänsehaut und Faszination
The comments have it right. This sound is VERY 76-77 live Genesis (Seconds Out). I mean, the dual drumming is pretty much note for note from that era performance... I'm not sure how many people know how hard it is to play with a second drummer, but to then play the type of intricacies...something that Thompson and Collins spent countless hours of rehearsal getting down. To hear it performed like this - amazing. If I were to just listen to the drum tracks, I am pretty sure I'd assume it was a '77 live recording of Genesis - that's how much they got this down. Kudos to the rest of the band as well. Nailed the Steve Hackett sound, and a special cheers for a singer who could both hit the softer Collins style and the rougher Gabriel style. Also, he reminds me of Jim from The Office.
@@masterpainter61 Yeah, if I were at a friends house and this came on, without the video, I'd be thinking it was some live piece from the late 70s. If I really paid attention I might hear the slight difference in voice, but my mind wouldn't go there.
My oh my oh my oh my!!!! This is the best thing I've heard after the original ones!!! BRAVO!!! What an incredibly good singer!!! Very talented musicians- all of them! the sounds are all wonderful. Thank you so much for the upload. I don't normally listen to or watch tribute bands. But this is as good as it can get.
As a true Genesis fan, I must say I loved that, excellent. I remember queuing for about 10 hours to get a ticket, but failed, around their British tour in 1980 or so, finished up paying 10 times face value, which was 5 wks wages at the time. Great concert, pity Steve had left before then, but Phil Collins was brilliant, loved their Los Endos ending too.
WOW!!!!!! GOOSEBUMPS LIKE THE REAL BAND GIVES ME... GREAT WORK . We're can I hear more of your music kinda in shock right now AMAZING. SOUNDS AWESOME singer sounds like phil . I'd love to see you guys. where are you. THANK YOU. FAN FOR 45 YEARS
Just love the energy and subtle contemporary nuances you all added to this amazing music. Wow! As a longtime Genesis fan, this was so enjoyable. Bravo!
Tolle Tribute Band!
SUPER!!
Absolutely amazing if your not watching the screen you’d think you were listening to the real thing, great musicians. Great vocals also the guys sounds just like Phil.....😉👍🏼
I always thought there was a wrong note in the synth for Firth of Fifth, but realized that the tones scoop up and that's what I was hearing. Awesome guitar playing, just a tad sharp in spots. The drumming ridiculous, the vocals amazing, keyboards awesome, best performance except when I heard it live in '81.
Absolutely fantastic performance of an absolutely classic Genesis medley. You are all such fine musicians and convey as much feeling and passion as Genesis did. I have your DVDs of these performances and recommend them highly to any Genesis fan. I realise this performance was from around 2009. Have you performed together again since then?

absolutely brilliant cover. The best singer to capture Phil's voice I've ever heard.
They should get together and get out on a tour. Especially now that Genesis doesn't exist anymore. They are SO great!
Na, mal sehen... Well, let's see...
The crowd is either mesmerized by what they’re hearing, OR they’re not bright enough to recognize greatness!
that's probably the best progressive rock that can be heard from the 12 minutes. I am completely flashed, especially from 12:xx onwards
Holy heck!!! This singer sounds more like Phil Collins than Phil Collins! Epic jam guys. I got goosebumps.
Now imagine if he went to the drums in firth of fifth!
People seem to say this on all of their videos, but I keep thinking he sounds nothing like Phil. At all. He sounds a lot closer to Gabriel.
@@kingcrimson234 Interesting!
🤣 Yes, he's great
@@kingcrimson234Phil and Peter sound alike as well. This guy has the energy of Phil.

I thought the singer came into his own on the Musical Box section, love the hand gestures and expression. Fabulous music.
Watching the video and reading the comments and just as I hit this comment of yours Cinema Show came on!

Peter Gabriel didn't sing Dance on a Volcano... he had already left the band when that song was recorded in 1976.

During Firth of Fifth the guitarist does the switch: Steve Hackett / Daryl Stuermer / himself, doing a weird, welcome combination
