    About Channel:
So many people complicate The Ketogenic Diet…I am a firm believer that food can indeed heal your body. I don't try to sell anything, this diet can be completely successful with food alone and you can definitely do this on lower budget meats. I do, however, recommend electrolytes. When you eat a high carb diet your body holds water and when you eat a low carb diet your body releases water along with electrolytes. You don't need to buy expensive electrolytes if you can't afford them, just make sure the ingredients are clean and free of sugar. Pickle juice even works or you can make your own, just make sure your body is getting them.
I don’t take ketones and I don’t test where mine are at. I also don’t count calories or macros. That’s too complicated and time consuming for me personally (Not knocking it at all because it works for many others and helps to keep them on track.) I just keep my carbs low (around 20 total carbs a day) and I eat fat and protein. I don’t count those either. I just eat until I am satisfied. The way I feel, the scale and the way my clothes fit help me to know where I am at.
    I don't have cheat days/meals...my health can't afford it.
I do have some discount codes to help others save money if you want to purchase different products, but again they are not necessary to be successful.
So don't feel pressured to buy anything. Just keep your ingredients clean and try to eat whole one ingredient, God given foods for the best healthy outcome.
I also like to link a lot of the products that I use in my videos here to because people ask where I get them.
This is my health journey, it may not work for all, I just feel compelled to share it.
    Thank for watching...God Bless!

I absolutely LOVE cooking our steak- & other meats- in our air fryer! The only issue I have w/any & all air fryers I've seen/owned/used (3 now) is that because of the cyclonic air, coupled with high heat & meat fat, makes for a really difficult- if not impossible- cleaning of the inside walls/hood ceiling. I like how easy the baskets & bottom trays are to clean, but there seems to be no way to get the rest of the "innards" clean. Even if I take it apart, unscrew the heating element & remove & use oven cleaner on it, it does not come clean. Maybe there are tricks I'm unaware of, but when I look it up, I hear same problems w/cleaning. Our current Ninja we've had for just over a month & it looks terrible already~ like we've been using it for years! =( Are we just supposed to expect to replace them every so often?
*Not referring to the one you are featuring~ which looks amazing btw. =) I'm referring to my old, oven-style air fryer, as well as the Ninja Foodi Grill I'm currently using~ which does have a splatter screen above, but it doesn't do much to prevent the stuck on mess & is also hard to clean. Eventually, the build up begins to smoke & the grease ruins the heating elements as well.
I keep hoping someone will figure out a way to enclose the top portion completely, & still allow the air & heat to circulate~ technology is amazing these days, but this is a big issue for people w/air fryers. Whichever company figures it out first will have a gold mine!

Yes the grease is hard to remove on them. I love the Convenience of them and how fast they cook and the fact that I don’t have to heat up the whole oven for a small portion

Have you made any more videos featuring it? I've been keto since 2017. I cook steaks and ground beef on the stove and bake fish filets in the toaster oven. My cooking skills are limited, and I'd love to learn how to make the most of this air fryer grill. Your video was excellent, btw. Good lighting, good camera angles, clear instructions, no extraneous footage. I appreciate all of those qualities!

Hope it’s ok to ask a question? I see you reviewed this a year ago, but I just purchased the Z star and I am so disappointed that there’s an offensive odor that I believe is coming from the grill, basket and pan that are heating up. I am trying to give this unit a good chance to “ burn off” the bad smell, etc, but I never saw anyone who reviewed the zstar complain about the smell that I am finding. It is actually changing the taste of some of the food. Hope someone can chime in on this! Thanks

In practice it seems an awful lot like an air fryer, I'll be interested to see if that's accurate or not as time goes on. But for now it is pretty impressive! There's a learning curve with everything but this does appear to be pretty straightforward. Great and fair first assessment! (I'm also a Michigander, near the middle of the mitten, always nice to meet more of us, and only found your channel recently so have been binge-watching! ✝)

Paula, do you know if its normal to lose your appetite. I’m 44 and I’m on day 47 of my keto journey. The last few days I am just able to only eat a bite here and there. That’s so strange for me. Did anyone else go through this phase?

I have been on about 90% keto for about a year. I say 90% because I do cheat at times but not often. I went from 250 lbs to 189 lbs so it is working. To respond to your question; I lose my appetite often. I make sure to eat jerky, nuts or something like that even when not hungry. You don’t want to crash your blood glucose by not eating. I am also type 2 diabetic and since I started keto, I am off meds and BG levels have greatly improved. 47 days; is awesome! Keep it up; it gets easier as you go.

I am the same way. I fill up fast and don’t get hungry as much, plus the more fat and protein you eat the fuller you feel. My husband is the same way.
