Fr tho I was thinking the same exact thing. That product was fucking sketchy AF. It's like when that "Dr" went on Rogan and said he invented a pill that makes it so you can drink and not get drunk lol. Honestly straight up reckless and liability right there. If he tried to sell that he would have been sued into oblivion 😂🤦🏻♂️ this z shit seems pretty much toeing the same line. At least it's not making a claim that you can drink and drive on it haha. But still that shit definitely hundred percent fake. It prob just mineral water or something. Hopefully it's not actually harmful to consume itself.. I swear it's just like with established titles happening rn. People need to do a better job vetting their sponsors if they want to keep a good relationship with their audience. It's putting short term profit over long term. But I understand it's money on the table rn vs the long term being extremely hard to calculate accurately and a lot of outside veritables. Why risk losing that potential income rn when you might just mess up in the future from something else and loose the respect and following anyway 🤷🏻♂️ there's no garentee that doing the right thing will pay off in more fans and loyalty. In turning down that money you could make more in the future or you might not at all. If they just feel it's safer for them to go for the immediate payoff rather than gamble on the future..

Nah, see you got it all wrong. Theres an unspoken agreement between the creator and us. We know that hes gotta make a living in order to provide us with free entertainment. So we understand the advertising. But he also understands, we aint buying none of this goofy shite. Whether it was real or not. U can tell Asmon still has great admiration for Athene for what he did for WoW and u can see he took inspiration for his "streaming persona" from him as well

I actually won or got something from T.T.T.T back in the day. Athene put me in the vid and over night i had like 800+subs or something. Around the same time swifty was doing something too i remember and I won that or something happened with that too and he mentioned my channel and over night again, gained like 1200+. Woke up to so many notifcations and i think i was like 18 or something at the time, i didn't know what to do. Swifty also sent me a mouse which was dope because i didn't have an mmo mouse at the time lol.
i remember when athene got sponsored by razer, i won a lottery in one of his streams and i got a razer ultimate nordic edition keyboard, hell, i still have it to this day

Athene and WoWHobbs were the first two wow youtubers I ever watched back in the day..discovered Asmond during WoD I believe.
I remember watching OGfurious content, after a while he stopped being involved in Athene videos and made youtube video where it was just him, no longer playing the character and just talking about various things, never saw him linked to the Athene group anymore so i don't know what happened there. Out of character he seemed more likeable than the others, so i guess he escaped this cult period that the group had now gone down

Yeah but to be fair OG Furious was a personna, the actual dude (L something, i forgot, he had a different channel where he was normal and discussing topics) was a pretty cool and normal dude. 2000s were a wild time for the internet though, and comedy was more free, so a white dude just having fun and acting like he's from the hood as his personna wasn't that big of a deal, it was actually hilarious as fuck

What amazes me is that I learnt about his existence via a charity event he called Avengers, in wich he called french streamers to help raise money. After the first edition they parted way with him and the main streamer behind it created an annual weekend called ZEvent. It's now the event that holds the record for a charity fundraiser on Twitch/internet. They raised more than 10 million euros on their last edition

the thing about cults and people in cults (my family were part of a cult known as the kabalarians) it is extremely common behavior for them to leave the cult and return multiple times even. this doesn't mean she's lying or telling the truth, mind you, but it's something that is VERY common in cults. it's often due to the fact that the cult has become their entire life and they are scared or don't fully know how to live outside of it. with that said, this has no baring on how true or untrue statements are and shouldn't be used as a determiner.
