So I was listening to this video at work, and wasn't able to see the screen as much, and I had a tough time differentiating between Anarchist and Sunny.

Some of Sunny's "downfall" videos do seem like unnecessary personal attacks, which isn't a good look when most of your videos are about stating the obvious

His Ninja video was not only unnecessary but was filled with insults towards Ninja. I don't even like the guy, but I could tell Sunny despised him and that hate slipped through thr cracks and into the video, which overall made it a worse experience

3:20 literally the reason Sunny rubbed me the wrong way from the jump. His video on Harley from Epic Meal Time and Smosh were the first videos I saw and it was mostly just him criticizing them for no longer being as big as they once were and almost implying that it somehow is a reflection of their value as individuals. Like describing dropping numbers in the same tone someone would describe a creator getting into controversy. I get being dramatic and performative for your content but when the subject of your video is analyzing the livelihood and commercial success of someone's public work and what that says about who they are, that can very easily cross into toxic territory.
He has a very weird penchant of kicking people while they're down and designing fake reasons as to why

" but as he stated it's cus she purposefully stopped posting. That shouldnt be surprising at all. @@aphexamine maybe he's telling the true facts but he clearly has a bias in portraying those facts in a more dramatic or negative way, speculating on them, because usually no one really knows what happens in their personal life and their head, so all this dramatic presentation seems unnecessary and mean spirited. That's why I stopped watching these reactions.

Sunny's Ninja video is absolutely unhinged and he makes so many claims without anything to back them up. It's starting to get ridiculous how many people watch his videos without thinking critically about them. SunnyV2's formula: Make a claim or personal attack on an e-celeb -> scramble and find comments/tweets that agree with him no matter how few.
Some of his videos are actually informational, but certainly not all of them.
He's making videos giving his personal opinion, not making a documentary. I don't think he's making videos to be informative at all. He's basically making gossip videos about popular people to farm views and entertainment purposes.

He makes too much vids to have the time to truely research the subject or verify his sources. The few good points he makes are for the most part lost in a sea of unverified and often irrelevent factoids. If Coffeezilla is comparable to a legit journalist, V2 is more like a sensationalist tabloid columnist.

I never liked sunny ever since he had that streak of only doing “the down fall of this random youtuber” and all the video does is give a very surface level history lesson on the channel he’s talking about and then at the end he’s like “well they just dropped a bit in views”

This is pretty much on the nose. Watch any SunnyV2 video and it's just the video zooming in on random twitter comments to articulate his main point, which he never really lands, and then just moves on to the next incomplete example.
He clearly has a skill for creating farmable, and interesting content. It's probably fine too watch when it comes to unimportant topics, but should be taken with a few extra grains of salt than your typical media.
They aren't research papers, they are the personal view of a guy who makes videos on UA-cam. His videos are like a tabloid magazine, to get attention and views not be informative.

It's not wrong or even mean spirited most the time. This video could have been made on Gamerfrommars, CritiKal, Turkey Tom, Quinton Reviews, Pyrocynical, etc...

Sunnyv2 being "exposed" by Sunny V3 or 4. I dunno, I've lost count on how many clones there are. I have noticed there have been a lot of copycats that have cropped up once Sunny got really popular. Sunny does have some flawed & questionable videos that he has made, but I still like his videos. I'd say the Primitive Technology & the more recent Boogie video are two examples of good videos that came from Sunny.
When your content is exposé videos and you're trying to put out content on a consistent basis, everything starts to look like a potential exposé.
His videos are good when they're about things actually worth discussing, like the videos you mentioned, but then he has other videos like the ones about Ninja, Dream, or Bella Delphine that are just kinda weak and pointless.
I also liked his videos, but his videos aren't that informative tbh. It's more drama and no conclusion, he often also misstate (idk if it's the right word not my first language sry) the facts like "yter xy fell off cause this and this drama". Even if the reason why is that after 2020 every content creators numbers fell of cause the people did go more outside etc.

Honestly my biggest issue with v2, v7 or whoever many clones there are now, is the consistent was they speak. Every senteeeeence, is littered with words thaaaat, are so unbearably drawn ouuuttttttt. Instantly takes me out of any point they are saying. I can only focus on those words.

That part of the video was so strange lol. He was just attacking the videos based on clips of their 5 second introductions for not presenting any real arguments. Like, I'm sure the authors of those videos elaborated on why SunnyV2's video was wrong, but because Asmongold is only shown a small clip of the intro (thanks to the editing of the main viedo he is reacting to) he just doesn't see them. But he still goes and attacks the videos because he isn't presented an argument in the obviously clipped thesis statement/introduction. So I guess he assumed the 5-10 second clips were the entire videos?
I normally agree with most of Asmongold thoughts and ideas, but this video seem really hard for me to agree with just because it doesn't seem like he is actually giving his thoughts about it and instead is trying to force positivity towards Sunnyv2 in a ungenuine way.

He wouldn't see it as a valid argument to call out (in a hypothetical) Greta Thunberg for burning a tonne of plastic? Some other popular activist for going against their beliefs? Individual hypocrisy doesn't justify qualifying arguments of hypocrisy as obsolete. Else he would be defending predatory, lying politicians (which, as I am not an avid Asmongold viewer) on the count "Everyone lies" and "everyones, to a degree, predatory." Which I'd bet my life he'd never say.

SunnyV2 videos are very obviously skewed and dramatized. He makes "downfall" videos of people who voluntarily left public life like Belle Delphine or who are still very big like Ethan Klein, and if you've been on the internet for long enough it's not hard to realize the kind of bias that informs his videos.

SunnyV2 ran into the same issue with me that some other UA-camrs have, or even people like John Oliver, I always thought they knew what they were talking about, or gave them the benefit of the doubt, until I saw them talk about something that I know about and they ended up being completely wrong. And that makes you think what else are they wrong about if they're completely wrong about this topic that I'm versed in?

I think people misinterpret his videos as some factual mini documentary. When in reality he is giving his personal opinion, showing how or why he came to that conclusion. They are more entertainment and less information. He uses people with large fan bases to farm views. I think people are looking to deep into it. Dude with an opinion made a video about someone.

From what I've gather about sunnyv2 is most of the people who dislike him is becuase he painted someone they like in a bad light. Others don't care either way becuase they see it as what it is, a commentary video for entertainment purposes.
Whatever his formula, it's working. Like him or not, people know him, he's cranking out videos and getting views.

Something triggered the shit out of asmon around 24 min in and I have no idea what it was. Like no shit an intro compilation isn't going to have arguments in it. And as far as I can tell the problem with that sunny kid is that he kind of pretends to be the arbiter of facts and logic while hand waving. There is no reason a counter take down has to go above and beyond no-u.
And I say this as someone who can't believe big joel was used as a point of the narrative turning against sunny because he's got his own audience who is more worried about vibes and aesthetics of chud takedowns.

Always wondered why more people weren't making comments about the ethics behind Sunny's videos. They're entertaining sure, but he purposely picks people who he knows are controversial or relatively disliked because he thinks that gives him a free pass to attack and poke fun at them. Some people he does videos on are already down bad and he uses the opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and embarrass them even more. People who didn't do anything wrong except make a dumb career choice.

I actually disagree with nearly every argument asmon made here. He made purely circumstantial, emotional, and defensive arguments. Arguments starting with "I feel" or "it seems" and then calling the critics arguments bad arguments? It truly seems that asmon is defending his source that he has created many opinions and arguments around.

From 26:15 - 28:35 Asmon's argument doesn't make sense. He heard some soundbites, then concluded that they don't have any evidence for their claims. Unless he has watched the videos of these people (I'm only talking about the people between the timestamps) his argument would apply to him more so than them.
This was a strange video to watch. Usually Asmongold listens a little bit before "ranting". In this video though, He sees the title of the video and essentially says wheres the facts? And when the person initially states their theisis, he's demmanding their proof/argument.
It's weird because Asmongold knows it goes Thesis, then argument/supporting evidence/ etc. I feel like he got too emotional too really listen.

Main problem with sunnyv2 is his facts are not true.
The thing for me is, you can disagree with a content creator or not like their content, that’s fine. But there’s people out there that think they can change people’s perception about the content creator then get mad when they don’t. How do I know? They did that with Nickelback and they recently did it with Hogwarts Legacy. They’re both doing great and I’m sure SunnyV2 is doing great too.

As a pizza pro I can say with near certainty those boxes were empty. Pizzas get heavy and that many pizzas stacked on each other would cause the boxes to crush. Especially because there were no "tables" in the boxes which if you ever wondered why those little white tables are in pizza boxes it's because without them even a few pizzas stacked would begin to crush the bottom boxes
Which is a good thing if you ask me. Those most likely under paid employees don't have to make 72 pizzas and the youtuber still gets a fun little video out of it. Honestly I would hope that the pizza boxes were empty.

@Bimpa No, but it is so unrealistic to have him go through the entire video and then go back again to enunciated his points in regards to arguments. You can not realistically expect him to remember every point that is being made, so just playing the video and then responding will lose out on a majority of the rebuttal or comments he has.
@@Destroyahx2 He would get to a section/chapter of the video, listen to the introduction of the argument, rant for 10 minutes on how its wrong without even hearing what the video had to say, and them resume. I never said he had to rewatch the entire thing. My issue was that at every point he'd cut the video off, jump to sunnys defence, and THEN he'd let the video explain the argument. He didn't even attempt to hear the video out on a single point, he wanted to defend sunny before hearing a single argument.

Sunny almost never uses factual evidence he typically just shares his opinion so while his opinions can be a bit weird sometimes it’s really hard to say it’s wrong or right if it’s a subjective opinion. I also love devils advocate as on hyperanalyzing this video lol would love to see him do this more. Mainly like him disagreeing with people haha

The talking about money issue is across platforms and niches. Moms get pissed when mom influencers aren’t poor any more too. Also it happens in real life, people who knew you when you were broke will have issues if you don’t remain broke like they did., sometimes that includes your parents.
The thing that first made me dislike SunnyV2's videos is the closing statements of his videos are so weak, there is no reinforcement or conclusion to the main points/arguments of the video and I just find the way he ends off the videos extremely unsatisfying and makes me question "why did I even watch this video?". Also sometimes he starts leaking personal comments and remarks into the videos which I don't like, since the majority of the videos are portrayed from 3rd party view, but then just randomly goes into personal attacks in the video; like Ninja for example.

I feel the reason negative videos generate more attention than positive ones is because if somebody has a positive view on something and they see somebody else posting a video with positive view about that subject they will just be hearing something they already know as to where if somebody has a positive or neutral view on something and they see somebody who has a negative one they are more enticed to see their perspective or hear their thoughts on the matter so of course its going to generate more views

Im actually genuinely surprised about how many people dislike sunnyv2 in the comments. I also happen to agree. My guess as to how sentiment got this bad is his videos appeal are kind of old. All things considered people just arent as obsessed with subscribers anymore. Just makes everything he does feel more and more tacky. That and there's certainly less easy targets. if people still generally view a creator positively despite their decrease in popularity( like in alot of his recent videos). it calls into question the whole point of his videos in the first place. He probably should diversify his content abit and consider changing his approach to portraying people.

Internet Anarchist is throwing stones in a glass house so to speak. His attacks on thetekkitrealm, for example, were only half right and some points were completely misleading. SunnyV2 vids are playing to the algorithm which is why they are popular. They are like snippets of headlines. Some Sunny vids are clickbaity for sure but the majority of them seem ok. The overall take on Internet Anarchist vid on Sunny though seemed lukewarm and opinionated more then exposing. I was hoping for stronger arguments.
