Hi Jack, thanks for the video. I've had a few UA-cam showcases over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones! Just a couple of things. The big number on the description is actually the mass, not the blockcount :) The prongs at the front contain several decoys and welders, this is actually the main reason for the conveyor lines. The Auto-Repair system only repairs the decoys and the main rocket battery. I forgot to put the navigational and docking cameras on! I litteraly watched all of your showcase videos. You deserver more subs. Please make more often. I recently started playing space engineers again because of your videos. I am making a big ship but I still dont know how to use a script. It would be really cool if you would show a tutorial or maybe a script list every ship should use. That would be awesome!
Some of the 2x1x1 tip blocks in front of the large h2 thrusters are in the damage path and range of the thruster. When it fires it will (eventually) destroy those blocks.
Normally I would say large ships should have an atmo or ion thrust system even if they are mainly hydrogen based, for station keeping and normal non-combat movement, most small ships too unless they are early game (support utility small welding/grinding ships should never be hydrogen, too much thrust), intended as low cost or as fighters, but if that and the need for more cameras are the only things wrong with it, you've done well, the forward missile battery and camera looks to be meant more as a sniping/ heavy bombartment weapon, so you might not use it as much while moving around, so self damaging isn't a problem, the exposed bits are a vulnerability, but speed compensates, especially with two jump drives, if you set up for going in with one, and having the second ready for gtfo, it can be a very devastating hit and run platform.
