I met Jim, Mick and Paul, they were all rad but Jim went out of his way to talk to me about Slayer because I had a Slayer shirt on. I thought that was awesome and became a huge fan of his that day. There's a story that he met someone who wanted Corey's autograph and he walked like an hour to go get it for him. Also, I shook Mick's hand and he goddamn nearly crushed mine.
You lucky bastard also micks a beast.
Fun fact: slipknot performs this song in the remake of the movie Rollerball, you can see corey, clown, and a few others in the scene, oh yeah and Paul Heyman AND Shane McMahon are in the movie too
It was meant to be the whole song, but Corey said in an interview the film was shit so they cut their performance down 😂

I can not believe looking up this song brought this up. 6 days old...I’m 33 and this album kept me alive damn near 20 years ago. Now I’ve got a big family and employees and guess what no matter how much they love me I still look at the world and thankfully I AM HATED! Maggot for life!!

One of the best iowa's song
If you get to it, please react to “From Can to Can’t”. It has Corey Taylor on vocals, Dave Grohl on drums, Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick, and Scott Reeder on bass. There is a video for the song, and a video of the making of the song. Both are awesome.
It is funny you talk about them being a gang. When they first were coming up they didn't fuck around. They were touring with Mushroomhead and someone got domed by a padlock from the crowd and someone from the band saw who it was. When they got offstage they de-masked (They hadn't revealed who they were yet) and went and initiated that guy in the crowd.
It was Paul Grey that got domed by a padlock by MRH fans

I know this isn't very related to Slipknot, but you guys checked out Avatar about a year ago, but missed out on their live videos. They have one of the best frontmen in the genre currently, and their live shows are insane. I recommend checking their concerts out!

Would love to see you react to Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust (their most well known song and the music video got voted as the best Finnish music video ever back in 2006 when the song was released). Truly an underrated band from here in Finland. Also a band with many different sounds all the way from slow melodic songs to full on rock.
Although if you want to immediately hear a song that showcases how crazy good the lead singer Marko Saaresto's voice can be (and while his vocal range might not be the most dynamic out there he is an amazing example of what you can achieve by having absolutely perfect control of your vocals especially the raw emotion that his voice is able to convey) then i recommend listening to their song Daze. His vocals on the chorus are something out of this world.
I just think that so many more people would love their music if they just ever heard them but since their from Finland it rarely happens. Although many have heard their songs in Remedy's video games Max Payne 2, Alan Wake, Quantum Brake and Control
(Also every single reactor i have seen reacting to them has been pretty much blown away by their music so i'm very confident you'll like it)

Y'all should react to Guardians of Asgard by Amon Amarth or Twilight of The Thunder God. Those two songs would be the perfect introduction to the bank in my opinion

Snuff and Vermillion pt1 and 2 are all songs by slipknot that u could say are love songs, albeit with the slipknot sound. If you listen to Stonesour, a side band with Corey and Jim from slipknot, they have a lot of songs dealing with relationships, and its not quite as angry...a little more just rock n roll...try Hesitate or Say you'll haunt me for example...and enjoy all the new music from another amazing band!

They really went downhill after this. Those of us that were around when this album came out know. They changed after this.
This is the weakest song on the album.... that's how good Iowa is!
