I just bought this same smoker. exact! When i set the timer for smoker or broiler, i dont see it counting down. when time is set, will it shut off the smoker unit or the bottom or top element? any thoughts? no videos on this, you should test it and do a video, see if your unit has same issue or its same as mine.
Hmmm…When you set the timer you have to push the timer button again to start it. I’ve never had an issue with mine. The timer does not shut my heating elements off when it reaches zero. Thanks for watching!
If you got rid of the heat deflector, chip tray and bits, do you think if you just turned the water pan round, and loaded it with chips, that would work? If you really need a water pan, can just run a large square one on the first level.
Dankeschön

I like the water pan. Keeps moisture in the smoker. You might be able to use the water pan as a chip tray.
@@expeditionanything7115 Problem is, the original chip pan is really small. Its easy to use another pan for water.
It’s it possible to use both top and bottom heating elements simultaneously? I hope it’s possible. Thanks
I haven’t tried, but I do not think it’s possible.

Glad you liked it and thanks for watching! Happy smoking!
