The underside part of my hair wont curl with an iron but naturally very wavy. Front of my hair is naturally flat but curls with an iron
You could try using texture irons first. They look like straightening irons but have dots/bobbles on the plates. You do that first it works well. Also don't condition your hair when you are going to curl it :)

Just watched this. First time I see beauty video. As I want curls but can’t decide whether to perm or use curlers. Then I saw this using straighteners!!! I think it’s just made me get some. So many uses. Great video. Beautiful lady. Live her make up and her eye colouring. 💖👍🏽

Why you dont try with (rosa mosqueta)is a ver y magic oil (i put the name in spanish , idont know the name in english) also you can try with Retín A ( its retinol 0.025 or more higher percent) thats can remove that sign in your neck ..both of them are magick formulas for the renewal of the skin.. My hands always burn when I try to hold the straightener like that at the end/top
That is because some straightners /flat irons have a little rubber bit at both of the sides at the top on the outside, which makes it possible to hold it at the top without burning your hand, while others don't.

I commented this as a reply but maybe someone else can find this helpful so...
Dont wash your hair the same day, i wash mine every other day. Everyday washing strips the oils from it, youll have more texture for styles to hold if you dont wash it daily. I use got2b glued spiking gel (got2b really holds) split your hair down the middle into 2 sections, take a small amount of gel in your hand then turn the faucet on and quickly pass it under the water (enough water to barely wet your palm) rub palms together and get it all over one half of your head but make sure your hair is at least damp or the gel will begin to set and be hard to separate the hair. Braid your hair in a dutch braid aka cornrow (braid attached to scalp)from the top to bottom as tight as possible. Rubber band the end then take a lil more gel and rub it all over the braid then do this to the other side of your hair, you want to leave this in as long as possible (i do this overnight) when you undo the braids youll have a crimp/wave look, i do this to avoid using heat. Also, u can part the hair however you want the hair to fall . If it doesnt work, dont wash it just do it again, the build up of gel will help hold it, dont remove the braid until your hair is completely dry, use a blow dryer if you’re in a rush ( my best crimps are the all nighter braids though) when you take them out you just shake the hair out lightly or pull it the way you want your hair to lay.

Tip: for tighter crimps braid the left half into 2 braids and the right into 2 braids (4total)
