Oh thank goodness I found this! Just got a new slight angle bob after years of ponytails daily. I washed for the first time after the salon and was completely lost on how to style with style. I tried this flat iron flip method after trying what my stylist did and failing and this actually worked! Thanks for helping me not look like a weather woman from the 1990s.
At the start of the tutorial I honestly thought you weren't really doing anything to your hair but now it's all done I'm loving it. I'm desperately trying to style my long bob hair, I'm going to give this technique a go now and see how it turns out 😂 thank you!
I’ve had an med length angled Bob for years. I recently went to a different stylist and he cut it so short that I’m at a loss as to what to do with it to make it less old ladyish! This tutorial is very helpful! Thanks Jocelyn!
I appreciate the tutorial and letting us know the difference between the titanium and ceramic flat irons. I never knew. Since I’ve always been a “blow & go” person, and as lovely as this is, this would not be a “quick” hairstyle for me.
Love this!! I just got this haircut, and this looks great!! I have pretty much everything I need to give this a shot tomorrow. Thank you for a thorough and encouraging tutorial!
If just come and cross your video, I had my hair cut yesterday into bob, so wanted to see how I could wave it, your video is brilliant and you’ve shown me it doesn’t have to be perfect. Looking forward to trying this style ready in time for my holiday.
Thank you sooooo much! I have been trying to work out how to do my hair like this for ages! Just tried this out and did my hair so quickly and it looks perfect!! Thank you!
This is a fantastic tutorial! I love how you’re so specific as you go! My hair is fine and thin. But I love this style. I’m hoping your technique works for me!
i just barely cut my hair to a little bit abover my collarbone. it's the shortest i've cut my hair since i was in third or fourth grade and i've been growing out my hair on and off (with some cuts to like above my chest but it isn't that short) for about 6 years. i can't use a clamp or wand on this short of hair, at least not well (bye bye long hair), but THIS saved my life. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
I'm glad I found you I'm 58 & got long hair but thinking of having it cut to a short bob. I love the wavy look & I'm going on holiday soon so I don't know whether to have it done now or when I come home ( at least on holiday I can tie it up with a clip) I'm not very good at curling it
Your fortunate to have thick hair which I can’t do what your doing because I would burn my thin fragile hair but all I have to do is salt spray and cool blow dry then I have my look with texture and lift. Thanks ❤️💚💙😻
I absolutely love this, but how do you get it to hold? I also have fine hair and curls and waves go in perfect and then fall out within an hour. My hair is actually naturally wavy, but not in a good way. And, I should add, I have this bob. TIA!!!

My intro to flat irons was a huge mistake! I bought the cheapest flat iron I could find in a supermarket a decade ago, my hair was in a short bob AND we were really trying to curl our hair with flat irons back then, which was a real challenge for a styling novice like me, so I gave up after less than half a dozen attempts. I haven't used a curling iron since I was a teenager in the early 90s (b.1976). I had a curling brush dryer in 1996, which also wasn't a success. I could get into this though. Right now my hair is by chance a very trendy kitty cut. I didn't ask for a kitty cut, I just showed photos and described what I wanted back in Dec.2023. I just had it trimmed last Saturday. Last time I used styling products regularly, we had gel, mousse and hairspray. 20 years ago, I had a long "pixie" and gave ID wax a try, but I think I did it wrong; I was using it like we used to use gel.😳🤦♀
I live in the UK, Scotland, and am unable to get the L’ange products either, so can you recommend some universal products for myself also. Thank you in advance. x 😊

This is like 10 months old, so I’m new to the group. My hair is shoulder length and naturally has wave. I use as minimal heat as possible! I air dry, then go in with my iron to add volume at roots and maybe touch up some random wonky pieces. Much of my own wave. So, I’m wondering if I can use this method doing what I do? I really only do it to add texture and volume! My hair is fine, but with decent body and wave.
Hi. I’m brand new to watching your video. I have fine hair and some videos on Yt can be very misleading. I love yours and liked the word Flipperooskies - so I’m stealing that haha. Thanks for being you ❤, clear and concise. Amazing job. 🎉 May I ask if you recommend any particular flat iron ? Texture spray ? Overall fine hair friendly products ? I’m in Scotland btw so may have access to different brands and or products. ❤ Thank you so much Jocelyn
This is literally how my hair dries when I don’t use a hairdryer and I always have to flatten it. I think I’ve trained my eyes to dislike it so I can’t wait for my hair to grow at least a few inches.
Always enjoy your content - you keep it true to life. What do you think about me using copper plated flat iron? I have wavy hair lots of it but strands are fine.x

Bahahaha!! I’m teaching how to curl, you’re watching this method, this is a keep the hair straight tutorial, but thank you for your comment that isn’t necessary on a curl the hair video. You do you!

Love this! When I try to curl with the iron I end up looking like Shirley Temple! Going to try this method. Thank you!!

Looks amazing and easy!🙏🏼❤
Omg this was literally so easy!! I always struggle to curl/style my fringe but I tried this and it looks amazing

Loved your video. My hair is the same length, but I struggle with the iron. You have taught me a better way. Thanks,

This rules. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you.

You got this!
I just got a bob after having longer hair. Even if this style eludes you, try the bob. It is youthful, fun, and easy to maintain.
Thank you for this video. I bought the LeDuo about 6 mos ago and have barely used it because of being unsure how. This helped tremendously ❤
Game changer; thank you so much!!!! 🙌🏻
Love this tutorial
Looks awesome
Wish I had your hair I love it. I have same style but yours seems to curl (or wave😉😂) so easily……and yes I do use products ☹️💕

Excited to try this, 💛 but I wonder what flat iron your *daughters* use, since I think my hair may be similar to theirs. 🤔
Excellent ❤

Glad it was helpful!
I wish mine could look like yours
thank you!!!!! i recently got one of these haircuts and was regretting it a lot, thanks for the hope!!!!🥹
You're so welcome!

Thick hair actually tends to be drier and therefore more prone to damage.

I love your hair vidios but live in uk and are unablr to get L'ange products so could you recoment some universal products
I live in the UK, Scotland, and am unable to get the L’ange products either, so can you recommend some universal products for myself also. Thank you in advance. x 😊
So basically just do the flip and not worry so much. But do the ends go in the straightener too or is just a flip?
It is personal preference on the ends
Love this! I like my Lange! Do you have information on your cut? Or how to? I need to explain to my hairdresser. Thank you!

I liked the before hairstyle more than the final.
I have to go slower to hold a wave but it works!

Hi, what is the heat set to with the straighter/curling iron, please?
It all depends on your hair type and what style you are trying to achieve. I keep mine between 310-320.
@@jocelynmcclellan - Ok, I tried that, but no luck. I will try it with a higher setting. Thanks much!

Plz tell me about the curling direction, r u curling it inwards or outwards?
Cute 🥰
You tell them girl...yes curl.. haha 😂
You look beautiful..
Just had a disastrous haircut 😢
A good haircut is how you handle it every day...sadly not with this one..
Love spray texturing powder..it's measured..
I also use living proof full thickening mousse beyond the full thickening cream both work amazing with a short bob.
which inch size are you using on the flat iron?. I have straight no body hair doesn't hold curl well which should I buy the ceramic or titanium?
Hello, we found this video and my girl really likes it, but could you share what product you are using in your hair before using the machine?

Which brand
What temperature do you curl your hair at?
It depends, but try to keep it 310-350. Always start low and work your way up.
Do you have any layers or texture cut in to your hairstyle?
titanium or ceramic for grey hair?
I'll be so glad when this style with those straight ends is over with. I cannot stand it and I see it everywhere.
My curls don’t look the same on each side
This looks easy but when I try it not so much 😢
Keep practicing and be intentional about what products you put in your hair before and after you style. That can make a huge difference XO!
As a non english speaker from europe: what is virgin hair please? Thx!
