honestly the biggest thing they need to get rid of is insane ai defending and terrible ai attacking like can my players move and make runs instead of just standing there like a scarecrow
Now it will put even more importance on meta players that fit the best formation. So instead of being able to use good players out of position youll have to have one of the few to fit that specific tactic.
I feel like they should just scrape custom tactics and make everyone use the basic ones and everyone will be on a level playing field, the game would be so much better.

I think the game needs it tbh, the worst is when my tots defender does a clunky huge step lunge animation while my opponent just holds R1 and dribbles around me with ease untouched
@@anonymus3198 I mean it's not manual defending if you just cheese the attack away with a yellow card. This is explicitly intended to bail people out from not manually defending properly. And it just gives the people relying on AI yet another fallback and way of removing themselves from having to actually earn a win.
The keeper playstyle pluses is another thing Zwe is gonna whine about when he shoots directly at the keeper and they save...he'll say keepers are too strong.
I was debating with Neal that the professional foul now gives me an animation that will guarantee my player to stop another player. He doesnt think its gonna be much different. Im already thinking of ways to abuse it hopefully getting a win or two in champs🤣
This is going to be the first game that is legitimately p2w.. it's always been possible to compete with lesser teams and/or grinding hard vs the way of the whale.. there's no chance of that this year.. there's going to be 2-3 players in each position that are worth having n without them you'll be screwed
As someone who's played since FIFA 98 on a Nintendo 64 lol it's always seemed to me that the game changes every couple years. It has to be gradual otherwise we don't feel like we are playing the game we've always loved. If there was a complete overhaul it would honestly feel like a different game. Just like if you went to play ufl, it's not going to feel related to the FIFA game You've always known. I get where your coming from but we're not going to change the path EA is taking to get where they want the game to be imho

That tactics looks like a massive L one of the best things in UT in terms of gameplay has been the ability to move players around in game to alt positions, this will also limit most people to using the same 11 players for longer
Every year i buy the game on day release and end of November the game gets uninstalled until the next fifa 😂 without fail... and i always love the game to start with then the updates change everything
Sadly they have promised big changes for the past number of years and nothing has changed I could argue this years has been one of the buggiest games to date. Since this weeks update i have a black line that follows my evo every now and again. I had a camera cut scene under the terrace. Three times the game has frozen. Please dont pre order and moan. Hang on and see if EA has finally fixed the game to a good standard. All the best people
I play fifa, well EAFC now, since Fifa 06. This is the first time I won't be buying the game in September. Idk if I will buy it at all... So sad to see how much this has changed. Company cares only about cash, they totally forgot what a quality product means... Don't want to convince you guys on doing the same, just sharing how disappointed I am with the game I played all my life.

My first FIFA game was FIFA 2001 and I bought and played them every year until FIFA 15, since which I’ve only bought the odd title here and there. After FIFA 17 I didn’t buy till 23 and only because it was cheap on an offer. I have to say I barely played it and I haven’t missed buying the games every year at all. You won’t miss it, trust me. I think the moment Ultimate Team came in the games started getting worse in several ways. Would be curious to know your favourites. Mine are probably all the games from 06-09, 12 and 13.

GK's pushing the ball away from oncoming ST's is a game changer. Can't tell you the amount of times I've lost games for this reason 👍

Nate pro clubs goalkeepers have playstyle+ even in fc24 so I'm not sure if these playstyle+ are for ultimate team

Look at the trailer. Then look at the trailer for any FIFA 10-24. It's the same changes as always. And they will change as little as always.
