i don't think that you did justice to the fifa games spanning from 2004 to 07 by playing weird ports, the difference is night and day between main version (ps2 and pc) and half assed ports.
Real ones know that those were not the real 02 & 03 games. Graphics and HUD’s didn’t look like that at all. Just looked like FIFA 01 gameplay with updated teams - weird.

Fifa 97 was very different on ps1 - it was first non isometric fifa. Whereas the version you played was just a rehash of the 16 bit fifa. Go with ps1 fifa 97 or maybe do a comparison version?
