I’m actually planning to buy this. Last fifa I owned was 2008. Whether it’s good or bad, it’ll be a new experience for many simply because a lot of us don’t buy sports games every year they drop. Cycle has continued for over a decade.. the fifa series completely died around Fifa 14. After that all the games felt the same and the gameplay mechanics just got worse and worse.
If you look at the bundles, fifa points and 7 days early access kinda worth the value. Also for 100$ and you can get entertainment for rest of the year is actually good.

I paid $100 dollars for the ultimate edition that eventually went on sale for $15. The nostalgia is dead, my last good memory of this franchise was fifa 14 but it’s been tainted by FC24. I now have money to buy the things I wish I had as a kid but I ain’t giving EA Sports more money for their soccer games

I swear this is why I don’t play Ultimate team cause people who play that mode complain about the wrong stuff all the time so I just stick to Clubs and Manager Career mode which in my opinion isn’t perfect but it’s more enjoyable than playing Ultimate team
I used to buy Fifa every year, stopped somewhere around 2020 or 2019, nowadays I just play career mode for a couple of weeks, maybe a month, when it finally hits gamepass. I never played ultimate team, I was always a career mode guy and once I finally learned to play Football Manager, I haven't looked back. I highly recommend everyone gives it a fair try.

I feel everyone is whining from the fact that it is so competitive game and they want to win every online match, football itself is so frustrating and the players dont bother about constant wining anymore, they just enjoy it. The game is essential for everyone needing to relax while making genius moves. I burn lot of calories every session and I release so much tension accumulated from a busy day. It helps me get active to complete my day instead of drinking excessive caffeine. Perhaps I need to reveal the fact that it helped me psychologically if I sing and chant while playing. So many things that other empty so called games do not offer you if you deeply think about it. Real pros care about the gameplay and nothing else and it is so developed in terms of the mechanics compared to 5,6 years ago (There is still vast room for improvements). But do you actually care? If not, you really have to... The inner mechanics they developed over the years have so so many possibilities in opposition or defense but let me tell you the truth..most of the players do not bother to learn them, even the pros in the official competitions. I know its super hard to play against (or to get) 95+ rated cards but have you ever tried to improve your skills in the game? Every time I master something new it changes my whole perspective, you suddenly start to create your own tricks and enjoy making build ups differently and discover great compos, and I know so much abt the gameplay but I believe from someone played every release since 2010 that over 80% of the game is only reachable by pro players the ones who really master the mechanics and I still do not consider myself real pro until I master every single move, you dont hate fifa, you just need to stop being so casual player. Or just play locally and that choice is more interesting for many ppl who dont have the time to turn pro.
@@habibmohammed2779 I mastered the gameplay and have bought every fifa since fifa 06. Reached elite on FUT and am ranked on seasons. I agree the gameplay is way better than it used to be but I don't think that's the issue, at least for me. I used to relax playing the game and was obsessed with manager mode. At a certain point you realize that they don't care about improving the single player game modes and are focused on FUT where they make most of their money. So I started grinding on FUT. I reached elite and ran into players who quit (cut their internet) and I don't even get the win. It just felt repetitive and like a waste of time. To build a squad just for everything to reset gets old after awhile. I would definitely buy it if they included an online manager mode where I could relax with friends. That's what I have fun with the most is actually playing with my friends. We still play clubs and have fun but it is hard to get everybody on at the same time. That's why I wish they would improve the single player experience. It's been ages and nothing has changed.

For me, the biggest problem is there graphic engine frostbite. It's the worst they have ever decided to go with. And as long they keep the same graphic engine with more animations. The more problems will happen
From what I have heard, whether true or not but I tend to believe it, is that the original developers from the first FIFA to feature the frostbite engine (FIFA 17, I believe) are all gone now and nobody knows how to overwrite the original code so they just keep piling new code on top of it and it can't handle it, and this has led to so many of the glitches and bugs. I believe it but I don't think that alone is the problem I also think DDA is absolutely written into the code as well and they just lie about it.

In FIFA 15 on the PS$ you could give instructions to other team mates if you used a microfone, like just saying 'shoot' or 'pass' etc and the other players would do that. I guess you'll see that eventually as a new feature in EAFC 30
Create a club, "new" for FIFA 22, was in FIFA 07. Even more funny you could do way more with it in a 15 year old game and the "new" version was massively watered down.
2 Months later and everything in this video has aged incredibly well. So glad I only buy the 1 month sub for PC to see if the game is good (shock, its not) and not the 100+ EA try to scam people for. Keep on doings the good work, sir.

Some other things I - as someone who only played FC 24 casualy - do not get. Wtf is the referee system? Why do I get punished when being behind 0-5 and quitting the game to save time for both sides? Why do I have to play the weekend league against way better players then I am? That means that the top players keep playing against worse players but still receive top rewords while I get totally crushed in hope to win at least 1 or 2 games. What about the games where your opponents scores almost every shot while you have twice or three times as much shots but miss them all?
Reminder that Latin America hasn't been really present in FIFA since roughly FIFA 20. Not even the national teams. It's been about 5 years and there's less leagues than there were in FIFA 17. I'm Chilean, and there's virtually no representation of my country in the game, yet I do enjoy career mode in FIFA 23 and I find it fun, it's just tragic that I can choose my nationality for my "Pro" yet I can't really rep my own country in-game. i gave up on fifa 24, last fifa game I enjoyed was fifa 22 and I can't even play it / get it anymore because I used to play it via the gamepass on xbox. I gave up and went back to fifa 14. Now I just get to do a manager campaign with AI that can attack and defend properly, and with low tier players that know how to run with a ball and strike it. Also prime Messi and Ronaldo :D
I love how they think we should be happy about them bringing back something that was in the series since the start (yes, removing pre-match intros isn't as big of an complaint, but as someone who plays career mode as main mode it is, though FIFA 22 is most likely the last EA football game I'll have)
Everything about the si in this video is correct. I played the beta test and career mode. Every time my player just runs and runs past them and they score.
6:45 I'm actually extremely happy they're bringing back pre-match walkouts. That was the soul thing that repelled me from getting FC 24. I only play the Fifa games now just to do the tournament modes and them taking out that miniscule thing killed my experience. I don't think I'll be getting FC 25 anytime soon though. Not until FC 26 comes out cuz I'm not paying full price for that game.

I played the closed beta and I know every year we say oh it’s the same but this year is honestly something else. I literally felt like I was playing 24. Usually movement feels slightly different but this year it’s identical. Only things I noticed was the shirts blow about and the crowds sound better when you score. Literally it. Menus even the same colour 😂
I think people get spoiled and expectations unrealistically rise. I haven't played a soccer game for years until FC24 was free to download on PS5 and I thoroughly enjoyed the game and it has gotten me to start following and loving real soccer.
The worst part is the forced focus on women's football. If there was a market for it, let it be a standalone game, there isn't so stop trying to crowbar it into the men's game
And the problem is everytime i charge my laptop the fps drop still occur in every EA since 2021. Even when i change the spec to 4090 GTX, it still occur. It runs fine when not in charge. Meanwhile other games have it reversed
I stop this year again. I stopped from 22 to 24 and it was okay. The UT year in EA FC 24 was maybe my best ever, without spending a penny like always, for sure. I play FIFA since 98, but it seems to stop 1-2 years in a row is the best. Features will be newer for you and more in sum, so I skip EA FC 25, try UFL to overcome the break and will be back at FC 26, maybe.
Sincerely thank you for making this video. I'd been toying with buying myself the game in January sales, but after watching this: I'll get something else instead. FIFA 17 was the last one of these titles I truly enjoyed playing.

The most depressing is that my buddies and I liked to play pro clubs which is like the middle son of Fifa game modes. It is so forgotten that it was not even mentioned in this video despite having a lot of unseen potential. I always think about it as it was a rival for multiplayer shooters than to other football games. Regular people like gaming with their friends regardless of the type of game as long it is fun and cooperative.

I've been buying this game since '99 with Bergkamp on the cover and then 2000 with Sol Campbell on the cover. Great memories. Followed them all the way to FC24 - pretty much my whole life, same as a lot of people. This game spans multiple generations and they should give it more respect and stop milking everyone.
As someone who has xbox game pass with ea play included, I'm only going to get it only because It'll feel weird having kits from last season but other than that it'll also be a flex as I'm in Britain and everyone loves football over here

The fact that the first Volta wasn't apart of the pro clubs game mode was one of our biggest criticism as a competitive pro clubs community. It was obvious that the plan for Volta was to make EA money through the Volta shop. It just shows us that their goal is to make money before making engaging gameplay. An honest approach would've been to make Volta apart of Clubs and then eventually monetize it in the future.
I played the closed beta and its sad to say this issues about A.I attacking and movements is still bad. Fc IQ is actually bad. Players doesn’t support attack or cover defensively. Chance creation is very difficult.
I only play for pro clubs. I don’t touch ultimate team until late game when they start dropping insane cards in regular packs. I saved so much money this year not buying any Fifa points.

It helps me get active to complete my day instead of drinking excessive caffeine. Perhaps I need to reveal the fact that it helped me psychologically if I sing and chant while playing. So many things that other empty so called games do not offer you if you deeply think about it.
Real pros care about the gameplay and nothing else and it is so developed in terms of the mechanics compared to 5,6 years ago (There is still vast room for improvements). But do you actually care? If not, you really have to... The inner mechanics they developed over the years have so so many possibilities in opposition or defense but let me tell you the truth..most of the players do not bother to learn them, even the pros in the official competitions. I know its super hard to play against (or to get) 95+ rated cards but have you ever tried to improve your skills in the game? Every time I master something new it changes my whole perspective, you suddenly start to create your own tricks and enjoy making build ups differently and discover great compos, and I know so much abt the gameplay but I believe from someone played every release since 2010 that over 80% of the game is only reachable by pro players the ones who really master the mechanics and I still do not consider myself real pro until I master every single move, you dont hate fifa, you just need to stop being so casual player. Or just play locally and that choice is more interesting for many ppl who dont have the time to turn pro.

@@habibmohammed2779 I mastered the gameplay and have bought every fifa since fifa 06. Reached elite on FUT and am ranked on seasons. I agree the gameplay is way better than it used to be but I don't think that's the issue, at least for me. I used to relax playing the game and was obsessed with manager mode. At a certain point you realize that they don't care about improving the single player game modes and are focused on FUT where they make most of their money. So I started grinding on FUT. I reached elite and ran into players who quit (cut their internet) and I don't even get the win. It just felt repetitive and like a waste of time. To build a squad just for everything to reset gets old after awhile.
I would definitely buy it if they included an online manager mode where I could relax with friends. That's what I have fun with the most is actually playing with my friends. We still play clubs and have fun but it is hard to get everybody on at the same time. That's why I wish they would improve the single player experience. It's been ages and nothing has changed.

@@402verseCareer mode will obviously have the same issues from last year, rush is a reused mode, Draft has not been updated since the day it released, there still isn’t a casual mode, the friendly mode is SBMM so basically after getting your 7 wins or completing an evo you have 0 incentive to keep playing the game and will have to wait for champs, truly an EA special

For me, the biggest problem is there graphic engine frostbite. It's the worst they have ever decided to go with. And as long they keep the same graphic engine with more animations. The more problems will happen

From what I have heard, whether true or not but I tend to believe it, is that the original developers from the first FIFA to feature the frostbite engine (FIFA 17, I believe) are all gone now and nobody knows how to overwrite the original code so they just keep piling new code on top of it and it can't handle it, and this has led to so many of the glitches and bugs. I believe it but I don't think that alone is the problem I also think DDA is absolutely written into the code as well and they just lie about it.

Grabbing shirts was a new feature in FIFA 15, apparently it’s a new feature now.
In FIFA 15 on the PS$ you could give instructions to other team mates if you used a microfone, like just saying 'shoot' or 'pass' etc and the other players would do that. I guess you'll see that eventually as a new feature in EAFC 30

Some other things I - as someone who only played FC 24 casualy - do not get. Wtf is the referee system? Why do I get punished when being behind 0-5 and quitting the game to save time for both sides? Why do I have to play the weekend league against way better players then I am? That means that the top players keep playing against worse players but still receive top rewords while I get totally crushed in hope to win at least 1 or 2 games. What about the games where your opponents scores almost every shot while you have twice or three times as much shots but miss them all?

i gave up on fifa 24, last fifa game I enjoyed was fifa 22 and I can't even play it / get it anymore because I used to play it via the gamepass on xbox.
I gave up and went back to fifa 14. Now I just get to do a manager campaign with AI that can attack and defend properly, and with low tier players that know how to run with a ball and strike it. Also prime Messi and Ronaldo :D

6:45 I'm actually extremely happy they're bringing back pre-match walkouts. That was the soul thing that repelled me from getting FC 24. I only play the Fifa games now just to do the tournament modes and them taking out that miniscule thing killed my experience. I don't think I'll be getting FC 25 anytime soon though. Not until FC 26 comes out cuz I'm not paying full price for that game.

I played the closed beta and I know every year we say oh it’s the same but this year is honestly something else. I literally felt like I was playing 24. Usually movement feels slightly different but this year it’s identical. Only things I noticed was the shirts blow about and the crowds sound better when you score. Literally it. Menus even the same colour 😂

I stop this year again. I stopped from 22 to 24 and it was okay. The UT year in EA FC 24 was maybe my best ever, without spending a penny like always, for sure. I play FIFA since 98, but it seems to stop 1-2 years in a row is the best. Features will be newer for you and more in sum, so I skip EA FC 25, try UFL to overcome the break and will be back at FC 26, maybe.
I mean, people tend to forget that EA is trying to be realistic, so all the errors in the female match are kind spot on with reality.

The most depressing is that my buddies and I liked to play pro clubs which is like the middle son of Fifa game modes. It is so forgotten that it was not even mentioned in this video despite having a lot of unseen potential. I always think about it as it was a rival for multiplayer shooters than to other football games. Regular people like gaming with their friends regardless of the type of game as long it is fun and cooperative.

I've been buying this game since '99 with Bergkamp on the cover and then 2000 with Sol Campbell on the cover. Great memories. Followed them all the way to FC24 - pretty much my whole life, same as a lot of people. This game spans multiple generations and they should give it more respect and stop milking everyone.

I play career mode on Ultimate dificilulty and manual settings and it’s the best feeling, feels like you are actually playing a football game.
The fact that the first Volta wasn't apart of the pro clubs game mode was one of our biggest criticism as a competitive pro clubs community.
It was obvious that the plan for Volta was to make EA money through the Volta shop. It just shows us that their goal is to make money before making engaging gameplay.
An honest approach would've been to make Volta apart of Clubs and then eventually monetize it in the future.
I played the closed beta and its sad to say this issues about A.I attacking and movements is still bad. Fc IQ is actually bad. Players doesn’t support attack or cover defensively. Chance creation is very difficult.

As a new fifa player myself, I basically stuck with Fc22 (The only fifa game I own) because why would I need to pay for essential the same game again?
I only play for pro clubs. I don’t touch ultimate team until late game when they start dropping insane cards in regular packs. I saved so much money this year not buying any Fifa points.
