Great video Joel! You are right about the throttle during your auto. It should drop the engine rpm to 70% when you roll it against the idle stop. I’ll post in the support discord. It was working better in the beta version just prior to release. The Huey does have a high inertia rotor though. It’s said that it has enough energy to auto full down, then pick it back up and rotate 360 and set it back down before you run out of rotor rpm…
I’ve heard this too. I think it was from an interview with a former Huey pilot on Mover’s channel (cw lemoine). It’s because the blades are much heavier than modern blades.
I just turned the video on, but have to get to bed. I will watch tomorrow. For reference, you said nice little airport in CA, which scenery is it? Thanks!
I have it on Xbox and it seems like when you lower the throttle when powering down it doesn’t actually lower rpm till you are like below 40% which I doubt is really how it would go.. maybe that needs to get fixed. Otherwise I loveeee this baby lol
Great flight really loving this heli
👏

That’s amazing. Thanks for the info.
I actually made a mistake starting with like 65% throttle and did a hot start and actually did engine damage. That’s pretty cool
Def needs a few tweaks in an update but it’s definitely awesome..

That is Oscar Zero 5, Rogers field. I am also using Helipads form SimFocus.

IRL the hose is put back up by the ground crew once you land from what I found. No way to do it from the bird while in the air.
@@James-ph5rg I can confirm this from a conversation with one of the other beta testers who actually flew Huey’s for CalFire
Is it on Xbox yet?
Not yet, but I believe it has been submitted, so hopefully soon
It is now.
