In this video we take a look at the fantastic ZM35 Victoria Falls scenery pack from Parallel 42 with Jeppeson2001 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Please not this scenery has already been available but is now new to //42. Our aircraft of choice is the exceptional Taog's Hangar UH-1H Huey. Great scenery plus a great helicopter equals a fun time! Warning, I am not an expert, as you will see from my landings, so in no way is this video a tutorial!

Just to clarify, having checked with //42, this version available from them is an updated version of the one already available from Jeppison2001.

Good shout on the choice of scenery, now bought it. That'll be the first place I try out my new home made collective when it's finished. Great video... dull spreadsheet on one screen, your YT channel on the other. I love the sound of Huey blade slap in the afternoon.

Nice flight I have this scenery but not flown it yet. I also have the huey and am enjoying it a lot. This could become my favourite when flying by hand so to speak, but the HPG H145 and H160 are when I want to watch the scenery whilst the H145 is for HEMS work. Keep up the good work.

That group flight was awesome i definitely need to pick a faster heli as that cabri struggled to keep up 🤣😅, I don't think them hippos will like my heli flying 😬😂, that guy bungy jumping is a utter nutter definitely won't get me doing that 😂, great vid mate this is easily my favourite //42 scenery definitely a must buy for me same goes for that beautiful huey

I have got the Huey in DCS but not flown it since I learned to fly helicopters. There is a video of my attempt at that buried in the channel lol
58:12 I still find the 135 my favourite. Nice usually predictable and stable flight characteristics and behavior.

No the simulated flight model that HPG devised before Asobo developed their own for MSFS helicopters. I need to try it again sometime
Question, does this huey relly on the CFD system and does it really simulate the semi-rigid rotor, or is it the rigid rotor simulation with added lag ?
It does use the MSFS CFD system, with regards to the semi-rigid rotor vs a rigid rotor unfortunately I don't have an answer for that.
I wish I had the money for peripherials. I would love a collective and rudder pedals. I have a joystick but meh
Pedals for helicopters is a game changer for sure. I’ve not got a collective yet but would love one!
I happened to record exactly the same video yesterday, only with the scenery from IniBuilds and with an MD500E helicopter, with a bit more action. This isn't meant to be an advertisement, I just wanted to mention it because it's funny. The scenarios look very similar though. Why do they do things twice?
Isn't there even yet another (third?) Victoria Falls scenery? I recall making a photo story of it a year ago or so on Reddit...

That’s very kind of you but I still have a way to go. Honestly some of best advice I ever saw for practicing was from HeliSimmer and that was to fly something like a circuit pattern and just practice that to get used to handling.

@mrflightsimulator3335 not really as it all varies depending on what controllers you are using. I have a warthog grip on a 15cm extension to a Virpil Warbrd base and with that setup I don’t currently have any curves set up. For me it is really key to have that instant input as flying helos is all about lot’s of tiny inputs to stay on top of it.

Hardly new. This is a re-release of the Jeppeson2001 scenery with a few small updates as they are now part of the //42 catalog according to //42 website. Great scenery. Glad it's getting some attention.
